    An Image Encryption Scheme Based on DNA Computing and Cellular Automata

    Networks have developed very quickly, allowing the speedy transfer of image information through Internet. However, the openness of these networks poses a serious threat to the security of image information. The field of image encryption has drawn attention for this reason. In this paper, the concepts of 1-dimensional DNA cellular automata and T-DNA cellular automata are defined, and the concept of reversible T-DNA cellular automata is introduced. An efficient approach to encryption involving reversible T-DNA cellular automata as an encryption tool and natural DNA sequences as the main keys is here proposed. The results of a simulation experiment, performance analysis, and comparison to other encryption algorithms showed this algorithm to be capable of resisting brute force attacks, statistical attacks, and differential attacks. It also enlarged the key space enormously. It meets the criteria for one-time pad and resolves the problem that one-time pad is difficult to save

    Construction Method of Tender Document Based on Case-based Reasoning

    The core activities of tender documents compilation are to collect similar historical tender documents, select compilation templates of tender documents and revise templates of tender documents partially. However, when the historical tender documents have accumulated to a certain amount, it becomes extremely difficult for compilers to summary, reuse and revise templates artificially in traditional compiling methods. Based on casebased reasoning (CBR), this paper studied the content recommendation method in the process of tender document construction. Firstly, a structured model of tender documents was constructed, and similar tender cases were retrieved from the tender case database according to the characteristics of tender cases; Secondly, the non-interference sequence index was used to measure the similarity of clauses used in similar tender cases, and the recommended sequences of reference template and content module of tender documents were constructed, which realized the recommendation of compiling templates of tender documents and partial revision of templates; Finally, the knowledge of the new tender case was updated. The empirical analysis shows that the construction method of tender documents based on case-based reasoning not only proposes a suitable strategy for compiling tender documents, but also improves the compilation efficiency of tender documents

    Nowadays, gene chip technology has rapidly produced a wealth of information about gene expression activities. But the time-series expression data present a phenomenon that the number of genes is in thousands and the number of experimental data is only a few dozen. For such cases, it is difficult to learn network structure from such data. And the result is not ideal. So it needs to take measures to expand the capacity of the sample. In this paper, the Block bootstrap re-sampling method is utilized to enlarge the small expression data. At the same time, we apply “K2+T” algorithm to Yeast cell cycle gene expression data. Seeing from the experimental results and comparing with the semi-fixed structure EM learning algorithm, our proposed method is successful in constructing gene networks that capture much more known relationships as well as several unknown relationships which are likely to be novel

    Safety assessment of upper buried gas pipeline under blasting vibration of subway tunnel: a case study in Beijing subway line

    As the buried gas pipelines are not easily field monitored, its status under the influence of tunnel blasting vibration is often difficult to obtain. In order to assess the safety of an upper buried gas pipeline under blasting vibration in the Beijing subway line 16, we established the 3D numerical model of the real field engineering to calculate and analyze the distribution of peak particle velocity (PPV) on the surface soil, proved its reliability by using the field monitoring data and discussed the dynamic response of the pipeline. Based on the analysis, we further assessed the safety of pipeline subjected to tunnel blasting vibration and concluded that the pipeline is only subjected to limited effect of tunnel blasting vibration and thus is safe

    Influence of Helicobacter pylori culture supernatant on the ecological balance of a dual-species oral biofilm

    Dental caries is a chronic progressive disease occurring in the tooth hard tissue due to multiple factors, in which bacteria are the initial cause. Both Streptococcus mutans and Streptococcus sanguinis are main members of oral biofilm. Helicobacter pylori may also be detected in dental plaque, playing an important role in the development of dental caries. Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of H. pylori culture supernatant on S. mutans and S. sanguinis dual-species biofilm and to evaluate its potential ability on affecting dental health. Material and methods The effect of H. pylori supernatant on single-species and dual-species biofilm was measured by colony forming units counting and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) assay, respectively. The effect of H. pylori supernatant on S. mutans and S. sanguinis extracellular polysaccharides (EPS) production was measured by both confocal laser scanning microscopy observation and anthrone-sulfuric acid method. The effect of H. pylori supernatant on S. mutans gene expression was measured by quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) assays. Results H. pylori supernatant could inhibit both S. mutans and S. sanguinis biofilm formation and EPS production. S. sanguinis inhibition rate was significantly higher than that of S. mutans. Finally, S. mutans bacteriocin and acidogenicity related genes expression were affected by H. pylori culture supernatant. Conclusion Our results showed that H. pylori could destroy the balance between S. mutans and S. sanguinis in oral biofilm, creating an advantageous environment for S. mutans, which became the dominant bacteria, promoting the formation and development of dental caries

    Damage Effect of Terrorist Attack Explosion-induced Shock Wave in a Double-deck Island Platform Metro Station

    The objective of this research was to reasonably assess the damage to people and station structures caused by terrorist attack explosion at metro stations, taking the Liyuan station of Wuhan metro which adopts double-deck island platform as an typical example. The TNT explosion process inside the metro station was calculated and analyzed using the dynamic finite element numerical simulation software LS-DYNA. First, the peak overpressure curve and the positive pressure time curve of the shock wave of explosive under the condition of confined space in the metro station were obtained. Then, through the comparison and analysis of the theoretical formulas of explosive shock wave propagation characteristics, the accuracy and reliability of numerical calculation methods and model parameters were verified. At last, combining with the overpressure criterion of shock wave in explosive air, the distribution characteristics of the casualties in the metro station under the explosion shock wave are analyzed, and the dynamic response and damage effect of the pillar structure of the metro station under the explosion shock wave are studied

    Uniaxial Compression Fractal Damage Constitutive Model of Rock Subjected to Freezing and Thawing

    Mechanical properties of the rock in the cold regions are often affected by freeze-thaw cycles and loads. It is of great theoretical significance and engineering value to establish a uniaxial compression damage constitutive model of the rock under freeze-thaw cycles that can reflect the relationship between macroscopic and mesoscopic structural damage. In this paper, macroscopic and mesoscopic methods are combined with statistical methods to quantitatively analyze the damage degree of rock under freeze-thaw cycles and loads. Combined with the fractal features of the macroscopic image of the section, a fractal damage constitutive model considering the residual strength of rock is established. In addition, the model is subsequently verified by the experiment. The experiment shows that the mechanical properties of rocks subjected to freeze-thaw cycles and loads are determined by freeze-thaw damage variables, load damage variables, and their coupling effects. As the number of freeze-thaw cycles increases, the uniaxial compressive strength and elastic modulus of rocks decrease, and peak strain increases. By using the fractal dimension of the compression fracture surface as a bridge considering the residual strength of the rock, the constitutive model can better reflect the compaction stage, elastic deformation stage and plastic deformation stage of the uniaxial compression process of the freeze-thaw rocks

    ComSL: A Composite Speech-Language Model for End-to-End Speech-to-Text Translation

    Joint speech-language training is challenging due to the large demand for training data and GPU consumption, as well as the modality gap between speech and language. We present ComSL, a speech-language model built atop a composite architecture of public pretrained speech-only and language-only models and optimized data-efficiently for spoken language tasks. Particularly, we propose to incorporate cross-modality learning into transfer learning and conduct them simultaneously for downstream tasks in a multi-task learning manner. Our approach has demonstrated effectiveness in end-to-end speech-to-text translation tasks, achieving a new state-of-the-art average BLEU score of 31.5 on the multilingual speech to English text translation task for 21 languages, as measured on the public CoVoST2 evaluation set
