An approach to multiple attribute decision making based on the induced Choquet integral with fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy information

In this paper, we investigate the multiple attribute decision making problems with fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy information. Firstly, some operational laws of fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy values, score function and accuracy function of fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy values are introduced. Then, we have developed two fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy Choquet integral aggregation operators: induced fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy choquet ordered averaging (IFNIFCOA) operator and induced fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy choquet ordered geometric (IFNIFCOG) operator. The prominent characteristic of the operators is that they can not only consider the importance of the elements or their ordered positions, but also reflect the correlation among the elements or their ordered positions. We have studied some desirable properties of the IFNIFCOA and IFNIFCOG operators, such as commutativity, idempotency and monotonicity, and applied the IFNIFCOA and IFNIFCOGM operators to multiple attribute decision making with fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy information. Finally an illustrative example has been given to show the developed method

Neutrosophic soft sets forecasting model for multi-attribute time series

Traditional time series forecasting models mainly assume a clear and definite functional relationship between historical values and current/future values of a dataset. In this paper, we extended current model by generating multi-attribute forecasting rules based on consideration of combining multiple related variables. In this model, neutrosophic soft sets (NSSs) are employed to represent historical statues of several closely related attributes in stock market such as volumes, stock market index and daily amplitudes

Upregulation of Src homology phosphotyrosyl phosphatase 2 (Shp2) expression in oral cancer and knockdown of Shp2 expression inhibit tumor cell viability and invasion in vitro

ObjectiveThis study investigated the clinical significance of Shp2 protein expression in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) and elucidated its biologic significance in OSCC cells.Study DesignA total of 88 OSCC cases were used to assess Shp2 expression, out of which 70 were for immunohistochemistry and 18 paired tumors vs normal tissues were for Western blot of Shp2 expression. OSCC cells were used to assess the effects of Shp2 knockdown for cell viability, apoptosis, invasion, and protein expressions.ResultsExpression of Shp2 protein was significantly upregulated in OSCC tissues compared with the normal tissues, and Shp2 overexpression was associated with advanced tumor clinical stages and lymph node metastasis ex vivo. Knockdown of Shp2 expression in vitro inhibited OSCC cell viability and invasion but induced apoptosis by regulating expression of the apoptosis-related proteins.ConclusionsThe data indicated that Shp2 may play an important role in OSCC progression. Further studies will investigate whether a target of Shp2 expression could be a novel therapeutic strategy for clinical control of OSCC

IVIG Delays Onset in a Mouse Model of Gerstmann-Sträussler-Scheinker Disease

Our previous studies showed that intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) contained anti-Aβ autoantibodies that might be able to treat Alzheimer's disease (AD). Recently, we identified and characterized naturally occurring autoantibodies against PrP from IVIG. Although autoantibodies in IVIG blocked PrP fibril formation and PrP neurotoxicity in vitro, it remained unknown whether IVIG could reduce amyloid plaque pathology in vivo and be used to effectively treat animals with prion diseases. In this study, we used Gerstmann-Sträussler-Scheinker (GSS)-Tg (PrP-A116V) transgenic mice to test IVIG efficacy since amyloid plaque formation played an important role in GSS pathogenesis. Here, we provided strong evidence that demonstrates how IVIG could significantly delay disease onset, elongate survival, and improve clinical phenotype in Tg (PrP-A116V) mice. Additionally, in treated animals, IVIG could markedly inhibit PrP amyloid plaque formation and attenuate neuronal apoptosis at the age of 120 days in mice. Our results indicate that IVIG may be a potential, effective therapeutic treatment for GSS and other prion diseases

An approach to multiple attribute group decision making with interval intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy information

    Get PDF
In this paper, we investigate the multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems in which both the attribute weights and the expert weights take the form of real numbers, attribute values take the form of interval intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. Firstly, some operational laws of interval intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy numbers are introduced. Then some new aggregation operators including interval intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy ordered weighted geometric (IITFOWG) operator and interval intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy hybrid geometric (IITFHG) operator are proposed and some desirable properties of these operators are studied, such as commutativity, idempotency and monotonicity. An IITFWG and IITFHG operators-based approach is developed to solve the MAGDM problems in which both the attribute weights and the expert weights take the form of real numbers and attribute values take the form of interval intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. Finally, some illustrative examples are given to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness
