    Character education is a very important tool in shaping, growing, and developing the personality of students. Education plays a very important role in improving the lives of students to become qualified and useful individuals. The existence of disciplinary activities at school is a benchmark in developing character education. The purpose of this title is to find out the application of character education through student discipline activities at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kartasura. Given how important the application of character education is by getting used to living a disciplined life so that students who have a sense of responsibility in carrying out everything and become more effective people. In the application of character education, the role of counseling guidance is also very influential in the process of development and character-building in students. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method with direct interviews by the teacher concerned through observations and interviews with school parties such as supervising teachers and students of the school. The results of the research obtained related to the application of character education here have been implemented quite well, with the existence of disciplinary activities in the form of ceremonies every Monday, the application of Monday and Thursday fasting at the beginning of each month, dhuha prayers in congregation, tadarus al-Qur'an and muroja'ah together and BTA (reading and writing al-Qur'an) which is carried out in the morning guided by the school with the aim of achieving the school's mission in encouraging graduates who are devoted, qualified, have the skills to live and berakhlaqul karimah

    The principal is a leader in an institution, namely a school, who has full responsibility for the school he leads. One of these responsibilities is to ensure that every student does righteous deeds, in accordance with Islamic values. This study aims to look at the principal's efforts to cultivate morals at SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Colomadu Superior Program, in this case, the teacher is always a good example for students so that students are inspired by the akhlakul kharimah that is exemplified. The method used in this research is through data collection techniques and interviews, which are conducted using a phenomenological qualitative approach. The object of this research is the principal, teachers, and students at the junior high school. The sources used are data from data collection and interviews. The results of this study can be seen that the principal's efforts to foster the morals of students are by creating programs, such as internship programs, specialization classes, joint dhuha prayers, murotal activities together before learning activities, and before asr prayers, Sunday morning congregation activities every two months, and tahfidz quarantine., besides that, it also provides good examples related to morals to students and gives advice to students related to morals

    This research leads to cases of juvenile delinquency (Juvenile Delinquency) which became the beginning of the crime. This study discusses the formulation of the problem (1) Analyzing the perspective of PAI teachers on Juvenile Delinquency cases, (2) Strategies carried out by Islamic Religious Education teachers in dealing with Juvenile Delinquency cases, (3) The flow of handling carried out by PAI teachers in involving homeroom teachers, counseling teachers , and parents of students in dealing with Juvenile Delinquency cases. This research is a qualitative research that uses descriptive analytic data with the object of teachers and students at SMK Negeri 4 Klaten, the data obtained shows that the causes of juvenile delinquency occur from family, education, and the social environment. Thus the PAI teacher's strategy is to instill motivation and religiosity or Islamic values in students to strengthen their faith in dealing with juvenile delinquency cases, namely creating pleasant classroom conditions without tension, providing intensive scope factors, providing relevant character development outside of study hours. , and engage in mediation and monitoring with homeroom teachers, parents, students, and other teachers

    SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Kebakkramat is an Islamic school that guides its students to memorize the Qur'an. Memorizing the Qur'an is done to increase students' love and closeness to the Qur'an and to achieve the virtues of memorizing the Qur'an. To improve the memorization ability of students at SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Kebakkramat, PAI teachers have various efforts including providing motivation to students to have enthusiasm and sincerity in memorizing the Qur'an, memorizing the Qur'an in class, repeating memorization or muroja'ah, collaborating with parents or guardians of students, flash pesantren, and conducting evaluations to determine whether or not there is an increase in students in memorizing the Qur'an. This research was conducted to find out and describe the PAI teacher's strategy in improving students' ability to memorize the Qur'an at SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Kebakkramat. This research uses qualitative research methods, which seek information about existing symptoms, determine the objectives to be achieved clearly, plan procedures and collect data for reporting. Interviews were conducted with PAI teachers to obtain information about the ways to improve student memorization and the practices carried out. The results showed that PAI teachers have several strategies, namely by providing motivation to students, memorizing the Qur'an in class using several methods

    This study aims to determine how the efforts of parents to increase the motivation to learn Religion in adolescent teeneger. This research is motivated because nowadays there are many parents who have difficulty in motivating their teeneger to study Religion, or even difficulties in teaching Religion to their teeneger, due to influences from the environment, associations or influences from within the child. This can lead to negative actions like online game addiction, adultery, etc. Therefore, parents must continue to strive to motivate their children to study religion, so that children can avoid these negative actions. The research was carried out in Kusumodilagan Village, Joyosuran Village, Pasar Kliwon District, Surakarta, precisely in RW 12. The type of research that will be conducted is field research. The approach that will be used in this research is a qualitative phenomenological approach through case study research. In obtaining valid data to support research needs, researchers used the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation in the data collection process. Data analysis techniques that will be used in this study apply data reduction techniques, data presentation and conclusion drawing and data verification. Then, to ensure the validity of the data and the retrieval, the technique triangulation and source triangulation are used. This study concludes that the efforts of parents start from showing attention, being a good exemple and encouranging children, meeting needs and giving gifts or punishment for their children. Meanwhile, the findings of the constraints and solutions of parents' efforts in increasing motivation to learn Religion are based on two factors, namely factors whose influence comes from within (interistic) and factors whose influence comes from outside (exteristic)

    This research was motivated by the failure to achieve the target of memorizing the Al-Qur'an for students at the Al-Kahfi Islamic Boarding School, Surakarta. One way to overcome this problem is through strategies from halaqoh teachers. The role of the Halaqoh Teacher is really needed by students who are memorizing the Al-Qur'an. So it is important for Halaqoh teachers to apply the right strategy, so that students' memorization improves and they are able to complete the targets given by the Halaqoh teacher. The aim of this research is to analyze the Halaqoh Teacher's strategy in improving students' memorization of the Al-Qur'an at the Al-Kahfi Islamic Boarding School, Surakarta. The type of research used is qualitative, using a descriptive approach. Data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the data triangulation technique. The research results showed that the strategies used by Halaqoh teachers at the Al-Kahfi Islamic Boarding School in Surakarta were the Double repetition strategy, No strategy, and Deposit strategy to Halaqoh teachers. There were supporting factors, namely: students who had learned Tahsin, motivation from people closest to them.     Moral education is an educational effort that is very influential in shaping one's morality. A person who has good character is needed in order to avoid bad influences in the surrounding environment and cyberspace that can damage himself and others. Thus the more intelligent a person is through the educations taken, it will also be balanced with the strength of one's faith and piety so that the intelligence possessed is not used to oppress or harm others for personal gain. Asy-Syifa Sukoharjo Islamic Boarding School is one of the boarding schools that pays great attention to the moral education of its students. Pondok Asy-Syifa in educating the morals of its students specifically uses the basis of the Kitābul ʽAdab which is studied to its students using the manqul or ʽimlā‟ method. The Kitābul ʽAdab itself is a book that contains the etiquette of a student and a collection of hadiths about adab. Learning the book of etiquette is not only taught its meaning, but also implemented to the students. This type of research is qualitative research through field research with psychological and phenomenological approaches.     Pendidikan di Indonesia cenderung fokus pada potensi otak kiri (kognitif) sedangkan perkembangan otak kanan (emosi, empati, dan keinginan) seringkali diabaikan, bahkan dilupakan. Pendidikan seharusnya tidak hanya fokus pada mencetak insan-insan intelektual, tetapi juga berfokus pada moral. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan kepribadian individu harus dibentuk, dan diperkuat. Sehingga tidak hanya menghasilkan siswa yang berilmu saja, tetapi juga mampu mengembangkan sikap dan karakter positif dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa dan bernegara Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research). Data diperoleh dari sumber data primer dan sekunder. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Uji keabsahan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tentang Peran Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam Dalam Menerapkan Pendidikan Karakter Berbasis Golden Habits Pada Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Karanganom Program Khusus Rabbani di atas, peneliti dapat menyimpulkan sebagai berikut:1) Latar belakang diadakannya metode pembiasaan ini adalah dalam penyelenggaraannya di SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Karanganom Program Khusus Rabbani pembiasaan menjadi salah satu metode agar menciptakan budaya sekolah yang sesuai dengan visi dan misi sekolah.; 2) Terdapat 9 bentuk pembiasaan di SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Karanganom Program Khusus Rabbani, kegiatan-kegiatan pembiasaan tersebut dapat dikategorikan menjadi 9 jenis kebiasaan.; 3) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat metode pembiasaan terhadap karakter siswa SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Karanganom Program Khusus Rabbani adalah dari segi religius, dari sisi disiplin, dari sisi kepedulian lingkungan, dan dari sisi kepedulian

    This research is motivated by several things that become obstacles to religious activities in the Al Iman Tanjungsari mosque, starting from the busyness of some mosque administrators, and the lack of involvement of mosque youth in participating in activities. One effort that can be used to improve this is by providing several facilities that can attract the attention of administrators and also young people of the Al Iman mosque. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategy for developing religious activities at the Al Iman Tanjungsari mosque, Ngesrep, Ngemplak, Boyolali. as well as supporting and inhibiting factors for the strategy of developing religious activities at the Al Iman Tanjungsari mosque, Ngesrep, Ngemplak, Boyolali. The type of research used is qualitative research. In this study using a phenomenological approach. Collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. As for the data validity technique with triangulation of sources, techniques and time. The data analysis technique uses the stages of analysis according to Miles & Huberman's theory, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results obtained are the strategy used in developing religious activities at the Al Iman Tanjungsari mosque is to improve the quality of the mosque's management, to increase the intensity of the relationship between the mosque's administrators and those who are directly involved in activities, to approach the congregation, and to formulate activity programs. Factors supporting the strategy for developing religious activities at the Al Iman Tanjungsari, Ngesrep, Ngemplak, Boyolali mosques are the source of funds, the strategic location of the mosque, the spirit of the mosque administrators, and the enthusiasm of the community.     This study aims to determine the condition of students’ learning motivation at Tahfidzul Qur'an Al-Ikhlas Islamic Boarding School Sukoharjo Regency, and the examine the strategy used by teacher of Islamic Education in improving learning motivation at Tahfidzul Qur’an Islamic Boarding School Sukoharjo Regency. This research used field qualitative method and phenomenology approach. The research subjects are Teacher of Islamic Educations and student representatives. Moreover, the data collection method used in this research are observation, interview, and documentation. Based on the research, it was found that learning motivation is very important, however to improve learning motivation there are several factors affecting it, they are internal and external aspects. Internal aspect covers the attitude, intelligence, norm, physical, and psychological condition of the subject. On the other hand, external aspect includes teacher, parents, friends who excels in their study, and infrastructures. Moreover, to increase learning motivation, teachers made strategies by: 1) holding a test, 2) assignment, 3) storytelling, 4) giving prizes, 5) giving punishment. In order to study the effectivity of the aforementioned learning strategy, the researcher utilized learning criteria of pembelajaran aktif (active learning), inovatif (innovative), kreatif (creative), efektif (effective), dan menyenangkan (and fun) (PAIKEM) strategy. It can be concluded that the teacher’s strategy used in the learning process is considered as less innovative and less fun
