    The purpose of the research is to describe about the management of English teaching-learning in reading comprehension skill at the Junior High School number 15 of South Bengkulu. The research used qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this research were principals, vice principals, English Teacher and students at the Junior High School Number 15 of South Bengkulu. The techniques of the collecting data were observation, interview, and documentation study. The results of the study show that: planning was planned successfully, implementation was done appropriate with the planning, evaluation was done continually, the follow up in the English Teaching-Learning Management in Reading Comprehension Skill was done well at the Junior High School Number 15 South Bengkulu

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor makro ekonomi terhadap indeks harga saham gabungan (IHSG) di bursa efek Indonesia. Variabel yang diuji dalam penelitian ini adalah Inflasi, Suku Bunga (SBI), Nilai Tukar, dan Cadangan Devisa sebagai variabel independen, sedangkan Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) sebagai variabel dependen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif, Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah indeks harga keseluruhan saham yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) tiap bulan selama periode pengamatan pada tahun 2008-2016. Dengan demikian, populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 108. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh yaitu metode penentuan sampel dimana semua anggota populasi dijadikan sampel. Dengan demikian, sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 108. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa inflasi, suku bunga (SBI), nilai tukar, dan cadangan devisa berpengaruh terhadap indeks harga saham gabungan (IHSG)

    Tomato is one of the leading agricultural commodity that has a good prospect in marketing. It showed by a high demand for this commodity but not balanced with the supply because the productivity is still low especially at the lowland. To overcome this problem, plant breeder must strive to assemble new varieties suitable for cultivation in the lowland. This study aims to examine the growth and yield some tomatoes genotype grown in the lowlands. This study lasted from October 2012 to March 2013 at the experimental farm, Agriculture Faculty, University of Riau. This study arranged experimentally using Randomized Block Design (RBD) consist by 6 treatments and 3 replications. Genotype that used are 2201-5 IPB-8b, IPB-6-8 T43, T53-IPB and IPB 3-3 T65-6. Comparation varieties used are Intan and Karina. The parameters measured were plant height, stem diameter, flowering date, harvesting date, fruit length, fruit diameter, number of fruit cavities, fruit flesh thickness and seed number. The results showed that the strains significantly affect the parameters of the study (flowering date, maturity, plant height, stem diameter, fruit flesh thickness, fruit length, fruit diameter, number of fruit cavities, total fruit weight per plant and number of seeds per gram). IPBT43-6-8 strain has a total weight of fruit cropping highest (777.1 g), but not significantly different from the weight of the total fruit crop IPBT53-3 (655.9 g) and IPBT65-6 (605.5 g). Three strains have a total weight of fruit crop was significantly higher compared with the Intan variety (404.9 g) and Karina (208.6 g)

    Hybrid Microstrip Diplexer Design for Multi-band WiMAX Application in 2.3 and 3.5 GHz Bands

    In this paper, a design of hybrid microstrip diplexer is proposed for multi-band Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) application in 2.3 and 3.5 GHz bands. The diplexer consists of a combination of two different filter designs. These filters were designed based on microstripline coupling techniques in order to obtain minimum insertion losses and achieve the desired frequency bandwidth. Therefore, a coupled open loop ring resonator was chosen for the filter design in 2.3 GHz band and a folded coupled line resonator was chosen for the filter design in 3.5 GHz band. Then, these filters were combined with a ring manifold matching network to be a hybrid microstrip diplexer. Based on the results, good agreements were achieved between the simulation and measurement results in terms of insertion loss, return loss and bandwidth in the 2.3 and 3.5 GHz bands

    A dual-wavelength erbium-doped fiber (EDF) fiber ring laser in single mode fiber and highly nonlinear fiber is demonstrated and both optical spectrums are compared at 400 mA of Laser Diode (LD) output. The fiber ring laser cavity incorporated sagnac loop had been applied for the laser to lase two wavelengths simultaneously due to high birefringent in polarizaton-maintaining fiber (PMF). Experimental results show that, owing to the contributions of two degenerate fourwave mixings (FWM) in the HNLF and the dual-wavelength proposed fiber laser is quite stable with small fluctuation power in 1.93 dB within 24 minutes in HNLF

    Pengaruh Lama Waktu Curing Terhadap Nilai Cbr Dan Swelling Pada Tanah Lempung Ekspansif Di Bojonegoro Dengan Campuran 6% Abu Sekam Dan 4% Fly Ash

    Salah satu permasalahan yang muncul pada tanah lempung ekspansif adalah sifat kembang susutnya yang tinggi. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya stabilisasi untuk memperbaiki sifat-sifat tanah tersebut. Adapun tanah lempung ekspansif yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berasal dari Kecamatan Ngasem, Bojonegoro, Jawa Timur. Untuk kadar additive yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah abu sekam 6% dan fly ash 4% dari berat kering tanah dengan variasi waktu curing (curing) selama 7 hari, 14 hari, dan 28 hari. Perlakuan lama waktu curing dalam penelitian ini diharapkan memiliki pengaruh besar untuk meningkatkan nilai CBR tanah dan menurunkan nilai pengembangan pada sampel tanah tersebut. Dari hasil pengujian di laboratorium menunjukkan nilai CBR tanpa rendaman (unsoaked) pada tanah asli sebesar 3,91%. Sedangkan nilai CBR tanpa rendaman (unsoaked) untuk tanah campuran meningkat menjadi 13,047% dengan waktu curing selama 14 hari. Dari hasil tersebut menunjukkan peningkatan nilai CBR yang signifikan. Sedangkan nilai CBR tanpa rendaman (unsoaked) dengan lama waktu curing 28 hari tidak menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dari waktu curing selama 14 hari yaitu sebesar 13,691%. Untuk hasil pengujian CBR terendam (soaked) tanah asli menunjukkan nilai sebesar 2,39%. Sedangkan nilai pada tanah campuran dengan lama waktu curing 28 hari menunjukkan nilai sebesar 5,77% Untuk hasil pengujian swelling menunjukkan nilai swelling tanah asli sebesar 3,841%. Sedangkan tanah yang dicampur abu sekam 6% dan fly ash 4% dengan lama waktu curirng 28 hari memiliki nilai swelling sebesar 0,438%. Hal ini menunjukkan penurunan nilai swelling yang signifikan, sehingga dapat mengurangi resiko kerusakan suatu konstruksi baik gedung maupun jalan raya yang menumpu di atas tanah tersebut. Kata

    The purpose of this research is to know the influence Gajasih to healing of hurt ganggren. This research used the device of research of Quasy Experiment, desain of research Pre-Test Post-Test - Control Group Desain. Population in this research is natural patient of hurt ganggren with the amount samples 14 respondents, using technique of Consecutive Sampling, data analysed to use the test of Wilcoxon and Mann - Whitney with P ≤ 0.05. Result of test Wilcoxon of at treatment group show the value P = 0.011, meaning there is influence which significance of compress gajasih to healing of hurt ganggren. At group control to show the value P = 0.020, meaning there are influence which significance of compress Nacl 09% , Savlon 2%, Perhidrol 3%, with the healing of hurt ganggren. Result of test Mann-Whitney got by value P = 0.114, meaning there no influence difference which significance of between use of compress Gajasih with the compress Nacl 09%, Savlon 2%, Perhidrol 3% to healing of hurt ganggren. Though statistically thereno influence difference of but visually is seen by the existence of difference of influence of hurt healing

    L-citrulline Sebagai Inhibitor Korosi Pada Tinplate Dalam Media Nacl

    L-citrulline sebagai inhibitor korosi pada tinplate dalam media NaCl telah diteliti menggunakan metode polarisasi potensiodinamik dan pengurangan berat. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan variasi konsentrasi L-citrulline dan media korosi NaCl. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam media 2% NaCl, L-citrulline dapat meningkatkan efisiensi inhibisi korosi seiring dengan meningkatnya konsentrasi L-citrulline berturut-turut yaitu sebesar 36% dan 74,59 % pada metode pengurangan berat dan polarisasi potensiodinamik. Pengaruh konsentrasi NaCl terhadap efisiensi inhibisi L-citrulline pada tinplate yaitu dapat meningkatkan densitas arus korosi tinplate dan menurunkan efisiensi inhibisi L-citrulline dalam media 3% NaCl daripada dalam media 2% NaCl. Prosentase efisiensi inhibisi L-Citrulline pada tinplate dalam media 2% NaCl sebesar 74,59% dan dalam media 3% NaCl sebesar 68,96%. Adsorpsi L-citrulline pada permukaan tinplate mengikuti mekanisme adsorpsi isoterm Freundlich dengan nilai Kads dan Gads berturut-turut sebesar 0,9835 dan -23,31 kJmol-1.
