    Abstract This research is a kind of library research. The main data is taken from Stephen Crane’s short story The Open Boat. The purpose of the research is to find out how the naturalism aspects are reflected in Stephen Crane’s short story The Open Boat. To come to that purpose, the researcher applies the structuralism Theory to analyze the problem. Besides, the researcher also applies the naturalism aspects based on Vernon Louis Parrington’s idea. Through the analysis, it is found that there are some naturalism aspects in the element of the short story of The Open Boat. The naturalism aspects that can be found in Stephen Crane’s short story of The Open Boat are; frankness, objectivity, philosophy of determinism and bias in selection character

    HUBUNGAN STATUS KONSEP DIRI DENGAN KEJADIAN DEPRESI PADA LANSIA DI PANTI SOSIAL TRESNA WERDHA SABAI NAN ALUIH SICINCIN

    ABSTRAK Lanjut usia merupakan hal yang harus diterima sebagai suatu kenyataan dan fenomena biologis. Didunia, lansia bertambah dengan cepat dengan persentase 9,77% dari total penduduk di tahun 2010. Di Indonesia jumlah populasi lansia pada tahun 2010 mencapai 18,04 juta jiwa atau 9,6%. Di Sumatera Barat pada tahun 2012 jumlah lansia sebanyak 7,5% dan terus meningkat tiap tahun. Ada beberapa masalah yang terjadi pada lansia salah satunya adalah depresi. WHO menyebutkan bahwa masalah kesehatan mental merupakan penyebab utama dari fenomena bunuh diri didunia. Didapatkan lebih dari 90% kasus bunuh diri terkait dengan depresi yang dilakukan oleh lansia.              Jenis penelitian yang digunakan survey analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi pada penelitian ini lansia yang berada di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Sabai Nan Aluih Sicincin 110 orang. Jumlah sampel 52 orang diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan pengisian kuesioner, kemudian data di anlisis secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji chi-square.             Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan bermakna antara konsep diri dengan kejadian depresi pada lansia di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Sabai Nan Aluih Sicincin (p value=0,008).              Saran dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan agar pegawai Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Sabai Nan Aluih Sicincin dapat memberikan penyuluhan tentang bagaimana cara mencegah depresi pada lansi

    Last 10 years, more than 50 papers and handbooks have been published on the topic of sustainable production and processing in the coffee commodity. Review process is used by desk study based on several scientific journals which are related to the topic. It was found by scientific publisher webs such as Scopus, Ebsco, Academia.edu, Researchgate, Portal Garuda, DOAJ and Google Scholar. Technically, sustainability was discussed at least 3 aspects, i.e. economic, social and ecology. In global growth, particularly a coffee commodity has been disturbing production which was caused by global warming, fair-trade and social conflict. On the other hand, dynamically there has been increasing of demand (export and local) due to lifestyle. Based on the fact, the realistic solution is needed on these matters. This study has done several articles reviewed and synthesized. The systematic of it’s through content analysis on that article and then clustered by a topic which assessed. The realistic solution complied based on economic, social and ecology aspects in a sustainable production and processing. Finally, we suggest several new techniques and products (downstream) which could be developed to reach the sustainability and processing of the coffee, especially cold-brew for new coffee product.Keywords: coffee, processing, state of the art, sustainable productio

    Nowadays, the food consumers claim on quality specification and authentication on food product is very important fulfilled by agroindustry. Certainly both of this will improve the sustainability of business the agroindustry. The objectives of this research were to determine an existing condition and main topics of the traceability and authentication system for the future research in food-agroindustry. Research approach was deeply literature review (desk-study) on several research based on the traceability system. The cluster technique wasimplemented to analyze the scientific paper. It was divided into two clusters, namely conventional and digital traceability systems. Each cluster was assessed substance, time-period and methodology as well as the contribution for agroindustry development to find the state of the art on scientific of traceability system in food supply chain.     EKONOMI SIRKULAR PADA MANAJEMEN RANTAI PASOK AGROINDUSTRI: KONSEPTUAL DAN RANCANGAN IMPLEMENTASI

    Currently, the quality of our environment is consistent decrease by time after time due to economic activities without considering social and environmental dimension. Technically, economic activities can’t be separated from supply chain management (SCM), particularly in agroindustrial. To overcome of this the new approach is needed as a tipping point so that economic and social activities keep going but the loss biodiversity at least can be de reduced. The new approach as circular economy (EC) was sparked by Pearce and Turner in the 90s. The conceptual of this paper provides a comprehensive and systematic review on circular economy topic. Material research is downloaded by several scientific portals through internet network such as Science direct, Emerald insight, Google scholar, Portal garuda, Cross-reef as well as DOAJ which majority before 5 years after published. Most of manuscripts reviewed were published in last five years. The article implements an extension theory for conceptual development of circular economy to explore a main process within supply chain management domain. Basically, the circular economy discuses five principles (i.e closing, slowing, intensifying, narrowing, dematerializing loops) that intersects with SCM process. This article provides a logical framework to spark integration between EC approaches in SCM process.     Recently, the interest of academic and research institutions in sustainable agric-supply chain management (SASCM) has risen. This fact can be seen from the number of papers published as special issues. Agric-supply chain management is a substance deepening from conventional supply chain management which is discussing integration of economical, environmental, and social aspects to reach a goal of organization. The objective of this research was to describe the state of the art about this topic and future research issues. The number of papers analyzed were 111 articles published from 2003–2020. The articles were obtained from scientific provider such as Science direct, EBSCO, Cross-Reff, Researchgate, DOAJ, Academia.Edu, and Google Scholar. In this research, we cluster (SASCM) to several items such as supply chain management, sustainable supply chain management, and sustainable supply chain management for agricultural product. The content analysis was used to describe the state of the arts and novelty. The result of the study show that it is critical for the actors of agricultural business to apply sustainability concepts including economic, social, environmental, and institution on the systems of agricultural supply chain based on industry 4.0 approach to reach a sustainable business process.     Rancang Bangun Transportasi Logistik Kakao Agroindustri Coklat Kabupaten Pidie Jaya Provinsi Aceh

    Factual problems of the cocoa bean agroindustry at Pidie Jaya District, Aceh Province were large distances between farmers and processor, thus determining the shortest part route, backhaul location and quality risk becomes critically to the assess. The objective this research are to determine shortest route based on the location of suppliers, back location, and risk quality recommendations. Requirement of shortest part route solved by Algorithm Djisktra, Backhaul location with MPE and Risk management quality by Multi Expert Multi Criteria Decision Making, aggregation criteria with OWA. The result of the study shows that the shortest distance suppliers Aceh Timur District was 282km, Aceh Utara District 116km, Bireuen District 57km, Pidie District 24km and Aceh Tenggara District 391km. Backhaul location sat Aceh Tengah District with a value of MPE(6533). Alternative of quality risk management were direct fermentation, improvement of transport facilities and container with a high rating criteria, thus the agroindustry has to focus on this dimension

    ANALISIS MUTU KIMIA CASCARA YANG DIPEROLEH DARI KOMBINASI WAKTU DAN SUHU PENGERINGAN SERTA PENGECILAN UKURAN YANG BERBEDA

    Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk menganalisis mutu kimia seduhan cascara yang diperoleh dari kombinsi suhu dan waktu pengeringan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental menggunakan RAK (Rancangan Acak Kelompok) faktorial menggunakan 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah kombinasi suhu dan waktu pengeringan (T) terdiri dari 2 taraf yaitu pengeringan tray dryer suhu 37 oC selama 20 jam (T1) dan pengeringan tray dryer suhu 45 oC selama 10 jam (T2). Faktor kedua adalah pengecilan ukuran teh cascara (P) terdiri dari 2 taraf yaitu pengecilan ukuran 20 mesh (P1), dan tanpa pengecilan ukuran teh cascara (P2). Dengan demikian dihasilkan 4 kombinasi perlakuan dengan pengulangan sebanyak 3 kali sehingga diperoleh total 12 unit percobaan. Parameter seduhan teh cascara yang diamati adalah nilai pH, total padatan terlarut, total fenol dan aktivitas antioksidan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi suhu dan waktu pengeringan mempengaruhi total fenol dan aktivitas antioksidan seduhan cascara. Kombinasi suhu pengeringan 37oC dengan waktu selama 20 jam menghasilkan total fenol dan aktivitas antioksidan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kombinasi suhu pengeringan 45oC selama 10 jam. proses pengecilan ukuran mempengaruhi nilai pH nilai dan total padatan terlarut seduhan cascara. Dengan melakukan pengecilan ukuran komponen kimia yang terekstrak menjadi lebih besar sehingga keasaman dan total padatan terlarut semakin meningkat

    PREDIKSI PASOKAN BAWANG MERAH MENDUKUNG DESAIN PENGEMBANGAN AGROINDUSTRI DI PROVINSI ACEH

    One of the focus of agricultural commodities development is shallot. It was contributed on national and regional inflation. Therefore, is not a national centra prodcution of shallot, Aceh Province has shallot centra productio, namely at Pidie, Aceh Tengah and Aceh Besar district. As we know that the main character agricultural product was seasonal, thus sholud be effectivally managed of its.  The objectives of this research were to obtain prodcution shallot pattern and to design a agroindustrial model which suitable with shallot characteristic production. The technique used Auto Regresive Moving Average (ARIMA), the data is used time-series (monthly) for 6 month, whereas option design model and product used Analitical Hierarcy Process (AHP). The result of study show that a model of ARIMA (p,d,q) was (0,0,1) with mean square 20,682,669. Meanwhile, the prediction of production t+1=6,662 qiuntal. The option of model design was micro-agroindustrial with a weight (0,59), small-agroindustrial (025).
