Inadequate milk production is the most common reason why mothers do not breastfeed exclusively. To overcome this problem, a stimulus could be provided in the form of breast massage, acupressure and aromatherapy massage techniques. This study is aimed to demonstrate the difference of effectiveness of combination therapy with acupressure therapy and aromatherapy in increasing levels of the prolactin hormone. The study was a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design. Samples were taken using consecutive sampling of 40 first day postpartum primiparous mother. The data analyzed using paired t-test and ANOVA. Accupressure increased prolactin level by 75.85%, whilst aromatherapy was proven to increase the prolactin of the mothers by 180.94%. Combination of accupressure and aromatherapy was shown to be the most significant treatment in increasing prolactin by 302.88% compared to prolactin level of mothers in the control group which only increased by 1.53%. This study indicates, it is necessary to apply a combination of acupressure and aromatherapy techniques to increase the level of prolactin hormone in maternal post-partum lactation.

Osteoporosis is a health problem that results in a high incidence of morbidity, disability, decreased quality of life and mortality. Decreasing bone mass density (DMT) in women is associated with decreased estrogen levels as a contributing factor in bone formation. This can occur due to several factors such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, and long-term use of contraception, including Depo Medroxy Progesterone Acetate (DMPA) contraception. (Tahir, 2009).This study uses a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were all DMPA KB acceptors in the Tengaran Health Center area, Semarang Regency. The sample in this study were 81 respondents. Data analysis in this study was Univariate and Bivariate using nonparametric statistical test, namely chi-square test. The results of this study indicate that there was a correlation between age risk factors with symptoms of osteoporosis in DMPA KB acceptors in the Tengaran Region Health Center (p 0.05). There was no correlation between the risk factors for body mass index with symptoms of osteoporosis in DMPA KB acceptors in the Tengaran Region Health Center (p 0.05) There is no correlation between risk factors for exercise habits with symptoms of osteoporosis in DMPA KB acceptors in the Tengaran Region Health Center (p 0.05). There is no correlation between risk factors for caffeine consumption and symptoms of osteoporosis in DMPA KB acceptors in the Tengaran Region Health Center (p 0.05).The intake of nutrients that contain enough calcium is very necessary for DMPA KB acceptors, especially women who experience cessation of the menstrual cycle as an effort to prevent osteoporosis. Screening osteoporosis could be planned, especially DMPA KB acceptors aged over 35 year

Breast care is a good preparation for mothers to breastfeed their babies. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between breast care during pregnancy and milk production in post partum mothers. This research method uses a quantitative approach, the sampling technique used is non-probability sampling (purposive sampling) with a sample size of 37 respondents. In this study using a checklist sheet instrument, then the method of data analysis using the chi-square statistical test. The results of this study were 15 post partum mothers breastfeeding was not smooth due to not doing breast care, 3 (20%) out of 15 post partum mothers breastfeeding were not smooth but still doing breast care. Furthermore, there were 22 post partum mothers whose milk production was smooth, 20 (90.9%) of the 22 post partum mothers whose milk production was smooth due to breast care, then 2 (9.1%) of the 22 post partum mothers their milk production was smooth but not doing breast care. The results of the chi-square statistical test with a p-value of 0.000<0.005 showed that there was a significant relationship between breast care during pregnancy and post partum mother's milk production at PMB Atlantika Amd.Keb, Batam City
