    Get PDF
AbstractUsing the questionnaire, mathematical statistics and entropy measurement methods, the quantitative relationship between the individual characteristics urban residents and their sports consumption motivation are studied. The results show that the most main sports consumption motivation of urban residents is fitness motivation and social motivation. Urban residents of different gender, age, education and income levels are different in regulating psychological motivation, rational consumption motivation and seeking common motivation

Effects of Soft Golf on Physical Fitness of Children Aged 4 to 5 Years

Playing golf is good for health. Previous studies found that golf training can improve performance such as muscle strength, endurance, balance, and agility. Constitution is the important foundation of national and social development, and children are the key period of constitution development. At present, there are few studies on the influence of golf on children\u27s physical fitness. This study explored the influence of 16-week soft golf exercise intervention on the physical health of 4–5-year-old children. Sixty children aged 4-5 years old were recruited from a kindergarten school in Shanghai, China with means of age at 4.56±0.54 and height at 112.72±3.96. Participants were randomly assigned into experimental group and control group. The physical fitness data were collected before and after the intervention. The intervention lasted 16 weeks of soft golf training with twice a week and 45 minutes each time. The control group did not do any training. The results showed that: (1) there were no significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in terms of lower limb strength and coordination ability. After intervention, Participants in the experimental group performed significantly better than those in the control group. (2) There were no significant differences in upper limb strength, endurance, and balance among participants between the experimental group and the control group. After intervention, Participants in the experimental group and the control group improved in physical fitness at varying degrees when compared with the pre-test, however the improvements were not statistically significant. This study showed that after 16 weeks of soft golf intervention, participants in the experimental group and the control group had different degrees of improvement in physical fitness test indicators. Especially in lower limb strength and coordination ability test indicators, participants in the experimental group performed significantly higher than those in the control group. It is suggested that the impact of soft golf on children\u27s physical fitness was positive. In China, research on golf and children\u27s physical fitness is still in its infancy. Soft golf retains the characteristics of traditional golf, and the development conditions are more convenient, which provide objective conditions for campus golf. The exercise effect of soft golf on physical fitness among different participants should be further explored in the future

A Single Item Lot Sizing with Backorder and a Finite Replenishment Rate in MRP

There are the following characteristics in decision on lot size in material requirements planning (MRP) systems: multiple time periods, a finite time horizon, discrete demand, and time-varying costs etc. In MRP system there are several different types of lot size techniques, such as the economic order quantity (EOQ), lot-for-lot, periodic order quantity, Wagner-Whitin algorithm, Silver-Meal algorithm and part-period algorithm. Although these lot size approaches focus on controlling the cost of holding cost and order cost, none of them, with the exception of the Wagner-Whitin algorithm, assures an optimal or minimum cost solution for time-varying demand patterns and copes with quantity discount. And Zangwill(1966), Blackburn and Kunreuther (1974) et al extended the Wagner-Whitin algorithm by following demand to go unsatisfied during some period, provided it is satisfied eventually by production in some subsequent period. R. M. Hill (1997), Stanislaw Bylka, Ryszarda Rempala (2001) give dynamic programming formulation to decide lot sizing for a finite rate input process. But the Wagner-Whitin algorithm and its extensions commonly are criticized as being difficult to explain and compute because the algorithms are complicated dynamic programming algorithms. In this paper, we propose a series of inventory models in which backorder and a finite replenishment rate are considered according to the characteristics in MRP ordering and the optimal solutions can be obtained by using general-purpose linear program solver, like EXCEL, LINDO, etc

Dynamics of Language Learning Motivation and Emotions:A Parallel-Process Growth Mixture Modeling Approach

    Get PDF
The present study adopted a novel parallel-process growth mixture modeling (GMM) technique to research the adaptive interaction between foreign language learners’ learning motivation and emotions, with a view to advancing our understanding of how language learning motivation and emotions (enjoyment and anxiety) adaptively interact with each other over time. The present study, situated in the Chinese English as a foreign language (EFL) learning context, collected learning motivation and emotion data from 176 Chinese EFL learners over a period of two semesters (12 months). The GMM technique adopted in the study identified three developmental profiles of motivation and two of emotions, respectively. The study further distilled salient patterns of motivation–emotion interaction over time, patterns significant for designing and implementing pedagogical interventions for motivation enhancement. The parallel-process GMM technique was also proven to be a useful approach to parsing learner variety and learning heterogeneity, efficiently summarizing the complex, dynamic processes of motivation and emotion development

Examine Primary School Teachers' Attitudes Towards Technology Integration in Primary Education

    Get PDF
In today's society, information and communication technology (ICT) has become an ever-present force, deeply ingrained in all aspects of our lives. Its crucial role in our daily routines highlights its significance, especially in education. This paper focuses on exploring the viewpoints of primary school teachers regarding integrating technology in their classrooms. Additionally, it examines how educators' academic backgrounds and years of teaching experience may influence their attitudes toward technology in primary education. A quantitative survey with a convenient sampling of 50 teachers was employed in this study. The research objectives include identifying primary teachers' attitudes toward technology use and investigating potential differences based on teaching experience and educational qualifications. The results highlight an increasing necessity to explore the subtle motivations and concerns that underpin teachers' technological attitudes

Research on international publicity strategies of Gannan red tourism in the context of the belt and road

Cultural self-confidence and the going-global strategy of China’s excellent traditional culture have given red culture new opportunities and higher expectations, accelerating red culture to go abroad following the times. Based on the overview of the development of red tourism, the article clarifies the present situation of red tourism international publicity in Gannan through SWOT, believes that the challenges and opportunities of red tourism in Gannan coexist, and further proposes several paths including updating the concept while telling a good story, clarifying the audience while accumulating talents, refining the spirit while upgrading technology, innovating channels while combining the internal and external, “casting the soul” with culture by joint cooperation, and enriching the routes besides “red and green”. The foundation is laid for the continuation of red resources to open a new chapter in the era
