    Exciton-exciton annihilation in MoSe2 monolayers

    Get PDF
We investigate the excitonic dynamics in MoSe2 monolayer and bulk samples by femtosecond transient absorption microscopy. Excitons are resonantly injected by a 750-nm and 100-fs laser pulse, and are detected by a probe pulse tuned in the range of 790 - 820 nm. We observe a strong density-dependent initial decay of the exciton population in monolayers, which can be well described by the exciton-exciton annihilation. Such a feature is not observed in the bulk under comparable conditions. We also observe the saturated absorption induced by exciton phase-space filling in both monolayers and the bulk, which indicates their potential applications as saturable absorbers.Comment: 5 pages, 4 figure

Using Shallow Platform Drilling Technology to Tap the Reserves of the Below Constructed Area of Fuyu Oilfield: Taking Chengping Block 12 as an Example

    Get PDF
The special geographical conditions in the below constructed area of the surface have caused the poor oil-water well condition, incomplete well patterns, difficult measures for tapping potential, and no effective development of reserves, which have affected the comprehensive adjustment of Fuyu oilfield. In order to solve this problem, the shallow large platform horizontal well technology was studied in Fuyu oilfield by taking Chengping 12 reservoir as an example. This technology has been successfully applied under limited ground conditions, and underground reserves have been fully utilized. This study has laid a solid foundation for fuyu oilfield to increase recoverable reserves and achieve stable production during the 12th Five-year plan

Exceptional and Anisotropic Transport Properties of Photocarriers in Black Phosphorus

We show that black phosphorus has room-temperature charge mobilities on the order of 104^4 cm2^2V−1^{-1}s−1^{-1}, which are about one order of magnitude larger than silicon. We also demonstrate strong anisotropic transport in black phosphorus, where the mobilities along the armchair direction are about one order of magnitude larger than zigzag direction. A photocarrier lifetime as long as 100 ps is also determined. These results illustrate that black phosphorus is a promising candidate for future electronic and optoelectronic applications.Comment: 5 pages, 4 figure

Modeling Spare Parts Demands Forecast under Two-Dimensional Preventive Maintenance Policy

    Get PDF
In maintenance practice, there is such a situation where the spare parts replacement should be carried out at the scheduling time of calendar or usage for whichever comes first. The issue of two-dimensional preventive maintenance usually was not addressed by traditional methods, and at present, few studies were focused on this very topic. Based on these considerations, this paper presented the two-dimensional preventive policy where replacements of spare parts are based on both calendar time and usage time. A novel model was developed to forecast spare parts demands under two-dimensional preventive maintenance policy, and a discrete algorithm was presented for solving the mathematical model. A case study was given to demonstrate its applicability and validity, and it was showed that the presented model can be used to forecast spare parts demands as well as to optimize spare parts and preventive maintenance jointly
