    Postmodern is (re) defined as a coexistence of two types of worldview perceptions: materialism reflection theory and the third term theory, which is sung by Tanaka Minoru. In the development of Roland Barthes' thought, the essay "The Death of the Author" and "From work to Text" can be considered as Barthes' postmodern. T. Todorov of France and Tando Hirofumi of Japan who criticized the present literary education failed to catch Barthes` thought and could not pass postmodern. Therefore, it should be reconsidered whether literary education criticism made by them is valid. At the end of this paper, I would like to show the appropriate reading of the future cross-research between literature study and literature education study by reading Lu Xun's "Kokyo" in a reading required by post-postmodern thought

    Utility greedy discrete bit loading for interference limited multi-cell OFDM system

    In this contribution we present the solution of the utility greedy discrete bit loading for interference limited multicell OFDM networks. Setting the utility as the sum of consumed power proportions, the algorithm follows greedy way to achieve the maximum throughput of the system. Simulation has shown that the proposed algorithm has better performance and lower complexity than the traditional optimal algorithm. The discussion of the results is provided

    Decelerating Airy pulse propagation in highly non-instantaneous cubic media

    The propagation of decelerating Airy pulses in non-instantaneous cubic medium is investigated both theoretically and numerically. In a Debye model, at variance with the case of accelerating Airy and Gaussian pulses, a decelerating Airy pulse evolves into a single soliton for weak and general non- instantaneous response. Airy pulses can hence be used to control soliton generation by temporal shaping. The effect is critically dependent on the response time, and could be used as a way to measure the Debye type response function. For highly non- instantaneous response, we theoretically find a decelerating Airy pulse is still transformed into Airy wave packet with deceleration. The theoretical predictions are confirmed by numerical simulations

    Reliability Analysis of Metro Door System Based on Fuzzy Multi-State Bayesian Network

    Considering the shortcomings of the fault tree analysis (FTA) method in the reliability analysis of metro door systems, Bayesian network (BN) and fuzzy theory were introduced to establish the failure probability model of a metro door system. A fault tree of the metro door system was established based on the structure of the metro door, the operation data record and the practical experience of relevant engineers. The BN of the metro door system was constructed based on the fault tree. For the problem that the prior probabilities of root nodes with missing data were unavailable, fuzzy theory was introduced to convert the expert language values on these missing data nodes to corresponding prior probabilities, which were substituted into the BN along with the root nodes whose prior probabilities were obtained from the operation fault data to calculate the leaf node probability. Cause analysis of the metro door system was performed with bi-directional reasoning of BN, which provided a way to find the key factors that caused door faults and the metro door system fault probabilities

    Show, Recall, and Tell: Image Captioning with Recall Mechanism

    Generating natural and accurate descriptions in image cap-tioning has always been a challenge. In this paper, we pro-pose a novel recall mechanism to imitate the way human con-duct captioning. There are three parts in our recall mecha-nism : recall unit, semantic guide (SG) and recalled-wordslot (RWS). Recall unit is a text-retrieval module designedto retrieve recalled words for images. SG and RWS are de-signed for the best use of recalled words. SG branch cangenerate a recalled context, which can guide the process ofgenerating caption. RWS branch is responsible for copyingrecalled words to the caption. Inspired by pointing mecha-nism in text summarization, we adopt a soft switch to balancethe generated-word probabilities between SG and RWS. Inthe CIDEr optimization step, we also introduce an individualrecalled-word reward (WR) to boost training. Our proposedmethods (SG+RWS+WR) achieve BLEU-4 / CIDEr / SPICEscores of 36.6 / 116.9 / 21.3 with cross-entropy loss and 38.7 /129.1 / 22.4 with CIDEr optimization on MSCOCO Karpathytest split, which surpass the results of other state-of-the-artmethods.Comment: Published in AAAI 202

    La protección de las artes marciales tradicionales chinas en las últimas tres décadas: una perspectiva sobre un patrimonio cultural inmaterial

Sin embargo, debido al impacto de la cultura moderna, la transmisión de varias artes marciales se ha visto amenazada. Así, desde finales del siglo XX el gobierno chino ha realizado importantes esfuerzos para proteger la cultura única de las artes marciales. Con el objeto de facilitar indicaciones prácticas para la protección del patrimonio cultural inmaterial, llevamos a cabo una revisión de literatura sobre las estrategias chinas relativas a la protección de las artes marciales tradicionales (AMT) en los últimos 30 años, y también tratamos de identificar las ventajas y carencias que tiene actualmente dicha protección. La evidencia existente indica que la protección legislativa de las AMT chinas se ha convertido gradualmente en un sistema de preservación. Los dispositivos modernos son importantes para mantener la forma actual de este patrimonio cultural inmaterial. Invitar a los herederos de las AMT a enseñar habilidades y conocimientos relevantes en los campus universitarios puede desempeñar un papel importante en la salvaguardia dinámica de esta herencia. Por otro lado, también hay carencias. Por ejemplo, las generaciones más jóvenes no son plenamente conscientes de la importancia de las AMT, por lo que sería necesaria una educación específica al respecto. Los medios de transmisión de las AMT son aún insuficientes en la actual era de la información.[EN] Traditional martial art is a pivotal part of Chinese folk culture. However, due to the impact of modern culture, the inheritance of various martial arts is threatened. Therefore, many efforts have been made by the Chinese government to protect this unique culture in the late 20th century. To provide practical indications for the safeguard of intangible cultural heritage, we conducted a literature review for the Chinese strategies concerning the safeguard of traditional martial arts (TMA) in the past 30 years, also tried to identify the advantages and shortcomings of current safeguard of TMA. Existing evidence indicates that the legislative safeguarding of Chinese TMA has gradually evolved into a system for preservation. Modern devices are important to maintain the current form of the intangible cultural heritage. Inviting inheritors of the TMA to teach relevant skills and knowledge in university campuses may play an important role in the dynamic safeguard of inheritance. On the other hand, shortcomings are also noticed. For instance, younger generations are not fully aware of the importance of TMA, thus specific education is needed. A evidência indica que a salvaguarda legislativa das AMT chinesas evoluiu gradualmente para um sistema de preservação.     MiR-206-mediated dynamic mechanism of the mammalian circadian clock

    <p>Abstract</p> <p>Background</p> <p>As a group of highly conserved small non-coding RNAs with a length of 21~23 nucleotides, microRNAs (miRNAs) regulate the gene expression post-transcriptionally by base pairing with the partial or full complementary sequences in target mRNAs, thus resulting in the repression of mRNA translation and the acceleration of mRNA degradation. Recent work has revealed that miRNAs are essential for the development and functioning of the skeletal muscles where they are. In particular, miR-206 has not only been identified as the only miRNA expressed in skeletal muscles, but also exhibited crucial roles in regulation of the muscle development. Although miRNAs are known to regulate various biological processes ranging from development to cancer, much less is known about their role in the dynamic regulation of the mammalian circadian clock.</p> <p>Results</p> <p>A detailed dynamic model of miR-206-mediated mammalian circadian clock system was developed presently by using Hill-type terms, Michaelis-Menten type and mass action kinetics. Based on a system-theoretic approach, the model accurately predicts both the periodicity and the entrainment of the circadian clock. It also explores the dynamics properties of the oscillations mediated by miR-206 by means of sensitivity analysis and alterations of parameters. Our results show that miR-206 is an important regulator of the circadian clock in skeletal muscle, and thus by study of miR-206 the main features of its mediation on the clock may be captured. Simulations of these processes display that the amplitude and frequency of the oscillation can be significantly altered through the miR-206-mediated control.</p> <p>Conclusions</p> <p>MiR-206 has a profound effect on the dynamic mechanism of the mammalian circadian clock, both by control of the amplitude and control or alteration of the frequency to affect the level of the gene expression and to interfere with the temporal sequence of the gene production or delivery. This undoubtedly uncovers a new mechanism for regulation of the circadian clock at a post-transcriptional level and provides important insights into the normal development as well as the pathological conditions of skeletal muscles, such as the aging, chronic disease and cancer.</p
