Macrofungi determined in Uzungöl nature park (Trabzon)

In the present study, macrofungi samples collected from Uzungöl Nature Park (Trabzon) between 2011 and 2013 were identified and classified. After field and laboratory studies, 205 species were identified. Containing 7 previously reported species in the research area, totally 212 macrofungi species belonging to 129 genus and 64 families within the 2 division were given in the text. Fourty-six species belong to Ascomycota and 166 to Basidiomycota

Impact of opioid-free analgesia on pain severity and patient satisfaction after discharge from surgery: multispecialty, prospective cohort study in 25 countries

Background: Balancing opioid stewardship and the need for adequate analgesia following discharge after surgery is challenging. This study aimed to compare the outcomes for patients discharged with opioid versus opioid-free analgesia after common surgical procedures.Methods: This international, multicentre, prospective cohort study collected data from patients undergoing common acute and elective general surgical, urological, gynaecological, and orthopaedic procedures. The primary outcomes were patient-reported time in severe pain measured on a numerical analogue scale from 0 to 100% and patient-reported satisfaction with pain relief during the first week following discharge. Data were collected by in-hospital chart review and patient telephone interview 1 week after discharge.Results: The study recruited 4273 patients from 144 centres in 25 countries; 1311 patients (30.7%) were prescribed opioid analgesia at discharge. Patients reported being in severe pain for 10 (i.q.r. 1-30)% of the first week after discharge and rated satisfaction with analgesia as 90 (i.q.r. 80-100) of 100. After adjustment for confounders, opioid analgesia on discharge was independently associated with increased pain severity (risk ratio 1.52, 95% c.i. 1.31 to 1.76; P < 0.001) and re-presentation to healthcare providers owing to side-effects of medication (OR 2.38, 95% c.i. 1.36 to 4.17; P = 0.004), but not with satisfaction with analgesia (beta coefficient 0.92, 95% c.i. -1.52 to 3.36; P = 0.468) compared with opioid-free analgesia. Although opioid prescribing varied greatly between high-income and low- and middle-income countries, patient-reported outcomes did not.Conclusion: Opioid analgesia prescription on surgical discharge is associated with a higher risk of re-presentation owing to side-effects of medication and increased patient-reported pain, but not with changes in patient-reported satisfaction. Opioid-free discharge analgesia should be adopted routinely

Macromycetes determined in Yomra (Trabzon) district

Tis study was carried out on macrofungi samples collected from Yomra district during 2007–2012, and 236 taxa belonging to 58 families were identifed. Crocicreas cyathoideum (Bull.) S.E.Carp., Phaeohelotium fagineum (Pers.) Hengstm., and Dacrymyces chrysospermus Berk. & M.A.Curtis are recorded for the frst time from Turkey. Calyptella capula (Holmsk.) Quél., Campanella caesia Romagn., and Guepiniopsis buccina (Pers.) L.L.Kenn. are the frst members of the genera Calyptella Quél., Campanella Henn., and Guepiniopsis Pat. respectively, in Turkey

Zigana Dağı (Gümüşhane/Türkiye)'nın Makrofungus Çeşitliliği

Bu çalışma 2011 ve 2014 yılları arasında Zigana Dağı'ndan toplanan makrofungus örneklerine dayanmaktadır ve 166 tür tespit edilmiştir. Önceden bildirilen 16 tür de dahil olmak üzere, 60 familyaya ait 182 tür listelenmiştir. Bunlardan altı tanesi Türkiye mikobiyotası için yeni kayıt olarak verilmiştir. Yeni kayıtlardan Vibrissea flavovirens (Pers.) Korf & J.R. Dixon familya düzeyinde, Ascotremella faginea (Peck) Seaver, Pezizella alniella (Nyl.) Dennis ve Propolis farinosa (Pers.) Fr. cins düzeyinde, Ciboria caucus (Rebent.) Fuckel ve Leptosphaeria doliolum (Pers.) Ces. & De Not ise tür düzeyinde yenidir.This study is based on macrofungi collected from Zigana Mountain between 2011 and 2014, and 166 species were identified. Including 16 species previously reported, a list of 182 taxa belonging to 60 families have been compiled. Six of them are given as new records for the mycobiota of Turkey. Among new records, Vibrissea flavovirens (Pers.) Korf & J.R. Dixon is new at family level, Ascotremella faginea (Peck) Seaver, Pezizella alniella (Nyl.) Dennis and Propolis farinosa (Pers.) Fr. are new at genus level while Ciboria caucus (Rebent.) Fuckel and Leptosphaeria doliolum (Pers.) Ces. & De Not are new at species level

Two new lachnum records for Turkish mycobiota

Two leotiomycetious macromycete taxa, Lachnum brevipilosum Baral and Lachnum pygmaeum (Fr.) Bres., belonging to the family Hyaloscyphaceae, are given as new records for the macromycota of Turkey from Gümüşhane and Trabzon provinces. Additional macrofungi records from Trabzon province for the mycobiota of Turkey

Four macrofungi taxa (Conocybe filaris (Fr.) Kuhner, Hygrocybe glutinipes (J.E.Lange) R.Haller Aar. var. glutinipes, Inocybe calospora Quel., and I. margaritispora (Berk.) Sacc.) collected from Trabzon province are reported from Turkey for the first time. Comments on their habitats and substrata and a short diagnosis are provided for each new taxon new to Turkey
