    Minimizing Work Costs and Employee Performance: A Case Study at CV. Abadi Jaya in Bandar Lampung

    Business competition is getting fiercer, both in the domestic (national) and traditional (global) markets. This study aimed to determine the relationship between minimizing work costs and employee performance at CV. Abadi Jaya in Bandar Lampung. The objects of this research were forty employees at CV. Abadi Jaya in Bandar Lampung. The researchers employed the descriptive-quantitative method. Furthermore, the researchers collected the research data through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature study. This study found that Ha was accepted, which indicated a relationship between the variable of minimizing work costs and employee performance. Therefore, the minimizing work costs variable was related to the employee performance variable. Also, the minimization of work costs was constant by one point, resulting in employee performance increased by 0.154%

    Education is a human effort to develop innate potentials, both physical and spiritual, so that they are in accordance with the values that exist in society and culture. Educational activities always take place in an environment called the educational environment. The educational environment is needed as an effective teaching process, because in the educational environment there are the infrastructure needed to achieve goals in education. It is not only the educational environment that plays a role, there are also educational institutions as managers. The development of increasingly advanced and developing science and technology makes educational institutions required to be able to improve their quality in facing the challenges and developments of the times. Education as a totality of efforts and actions must be carried out through three educational institutions namely, family, school and community. Therefore, it is necessary to integrate family education institutions, school education and community education institutions in carrying out character education. Strengthening the three educational institutions shows that character education is needed in order to anticipate increasingly complex problems in the future. The existence of educational institutions is the answer to the problems of human growth and development itself. Education that will form and foster forms with certain behaviors in certain circumstances, educational institutions require certain treatment as well. The role of these educational institutions varies, depending on the environment in which the institution is established, the family, school and community that are interconnected with one another

    This research aims to determine the effect of work motivation on employee discipline in Tanjungkarang Barat sub-district in Bandar Lampung. The data collection techniques used was observation, questionnaires, and documentation, and the t-test was used to test the hypothesis. The t-test result showed a tcount of 9.150, which was compared to the ttable value of 2.82 at a significant level of 0.05. Based on the decision rule, tcount = 9.150 > ttable 2.82 indicates that Work Motivation (X) has a significant influence on Discipline (Y) of Employee. Furthermore, work motivation and discipline influence each other, as evidenced by the coefficient of determination (R2) of 79.9%, and the remaining 20.1% is influenced by other factors. Keywords: Work Discipline; Work Motivation; Employees     Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap disiplin kerja pegawai di Kecamatan Tanjungkarang Barat Kota Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi, serta uji-t untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil uji t menunjukkan nilai thitung sebesar 9,150 dibandingkan dengan nilai ttabel sebesar 2,82 pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Berdasarkan aturan pengambilan keputusan, thitung = 9,150 > ttabel 2,82 menunjukkan bahwa Motivasi Kerja (X) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Disiplin (Y) Karyawan. Selanjutnya motivasi dan disiplin kerja saling mempengaruhi, dibuktikan dengan koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 79,9%, dan sisanya sebesar 20,1% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan Teknik analisis untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil uji t didapat nilai thitung = 9,150.  Apabila dibandingkan dengan ttabel pada taraf signifikan 0,05 yaitu 2,82, maka thitung = 9,150 > ttabel 2,82 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis yang menyatakan terdapat pengaruh antara variabel Motivasi Kerja (X)  terhadap Disiplin Kerja (Y) pada Pegawai Kecamatan Tanjung Karang Barat. Pada saat penelitian Motivasi Kerja dan Disiplin Kerja saling mempengaruhi hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 79,9 % dan sisanya sebesar 20,1% dipengaruhi oleh factor lain
