Dynamics Analysis and Limit Cycle in a Delayed Model for Tumor Growth with Quiescence

The model analyzed in this paper is based on the unstructured model set forth by Gyllenberg and Webb (1989) without delay, which describes an interaction between the proliferating and quiescent cells tumor. In the present paper we consider the model with one delay and a unique positive equilibrium E∗ and the other is trivial. Their dynamics are studied in terms of the local stability of the two equilibrium points and of the description of the Hopf bifurcation at E∗ , that is proven to exists as the delay (taken as a parameter) crosses some critical value. We suggest to examine in laboratory experiments how to employ these results for containing tumor growth

STABILITY OF LIMIT CYCLE IN A DELAYED MODEL FOR TUMOR IMMUNE SYSTEM COMPETITION WITH NEGATIVE IMMUNE RESPONSE

This paper is devoted to the study of the stability of limit cycles of a system of nonlinear delay differential equations with a discrete delay. The system arises from a model of population dynamics describing the competition between tumor and immune system with negative immune response. We study the local asymptotic stability of the unique nontrivial equilibrium of the delay equation and we show that its stability can be lost through a Hopf bifurcation. We establish an explicit algorithm for determining the direction of the Hopf bifurcation and the stability or instability of the bifurcating branch of periodic solutions, using the methods presented by Diekmann et al

Tinjauan Ketersediaan Konsentrasi Senyawa Kimia Utama dalam Semen Curah

Semen menjadi salah satu kebutuhan utama manusia sebagai bahan konstruksi dalam pembangunan, baik di bidang perumahan, perhubungan, dan lain-lain. Namun semen dengan kualitas rendah akan berdampak pada kualitas pembangunan fisik suatu bangunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan konsentrasi 4 senyawa utama dalam semen terhadap 4 merk semen di kabupaten Alor yang dikodekan dengan c1, c2, c3, dan c4, dengan menggunakan X-RF dan dilanjutkan dengan analisis menggunakan stoikiometri Bogue. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi komponen kimia A (Al2O3) tidak ditemukan dalam semen dengan kode semen c1, c2, dan c3, serta konsentrasi komponen kimia  (SO3) tidak ditemukan dalam semen dengan kode semen c1, c2, dan c4. Hasil analisis terhadap sampel c3 dan c4 menunjukkan tidak ditemukannya konsentrasi 2 senyawa utama  dalam sampel semen yakni C2Sdan C3A. Hal ini dapat diduga bahwa semen kehilangan sebagaian senyawa akibat waktu dan jarak distribusi semen dari produsen ke distributor serta akibat situasi dan kondisi dalam lingkungan distributor

PENGARUH VOLUME PERDAGANGAN DAN FREKUENSI PERDAGANGAN TERHADAP CAPITAL GAIN PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR YANG TERDAFTAR DI INDEKS SAHAM SYARIAH INDONESIA PERIODE 2015-2018

Investment is an activity that allocates idle funds with the aim of obtaining future profits. In order to maximize the amount of investment return there are several factors that affected return, trading volume and trading frequency. This research aims to empirically examine how trading volume and trading frequency affected profits which in this study is proxied as capital gains. The object of this research is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) for the 2015-2018 period. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, while the analysis technique used panel data regression test with statistical tools Eviews 9. Based on the analysis found that trading volume is affect capital gain, it also found that trading frequency affect capital gain. ( INDONESIA ) Investasi merupakan kegiatan mengalokasikan sejumlah dana yang menganggur dengan tujuan untuk mendapat keuntungan di masa depan. Dalam upaya memaksimalkan keuntungan investasi terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi yaitu jumlah dari volume perdagangan dan frekuensi perdagangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris volume perdagangan dan frekuensi perdagangan dapat mempengaruhi keuntungan yang dalam penelitian ini diproksikan sebagai capital gain. Objek dalam penelitian adalah perusahaan-perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Indeks Saham Syariah Indonesia (ISSI) periode 2015-2018. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling, adapun teknik analisis menggunakan uji regresi data panel dengan alat bantu statistik software Eviews 9. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa volume perdagangan berpengaruh terhadap capital gain, selain itu frekuensi perdagangan juga ditemukan berpengaruh terhadap capital gain

Permanence and periodic solution for a modified Leslie-Gower type predator-prey model with diffusion and non constant coefficients

In this paper we study a predator-prey system, modeling the interaction of two species with diffusion and T-periodic environmental parameters. It is a Leslie-Gower type predator-prey model with Holling-type-II functional response. We establish some sufficient conditions for the ultimate boundedness of solutions and permanence of this system. By constructing an appropriate auxiliary function, the conditions for the existence of a unique globally stable positive periodic solution are also obtained. Numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the results
