Usage of interactive author's technology "destination" to improve the professionsl competence of future economists

The authors of the following article study the essence of interactive author’s technology “point of destination”. The factors have been pointed out, which the whole structure of the lesson depends on. The conditions of educational process organization at the English lessons are described. The authors point out the privileges of technology usage while working with students - future economists at the English lessons. Among privileges the dynamism of educational process is highlighted, as well as possibility of different forms of work usage, development of team work skills

Автором даної статті розглядається технологія «пункт призначення» як механізм, який дозволяє застосовувати різноманітні форми й методи роботи, направлені на удосконалення ішомовної комунікативної компетенції молодих науковців в умовах літньої мовної школи. Наголошується на ефективності роботи літньої мовної школи молодих науковців на базі вищого навчального закладу як однієї з альтернативних форм навчання, що відповідає принципу безперервної мовної освіти, сприяє удосконаленню комунікативної компетенції молодих науковців, їх професійної майстерності. Автором данной статьи рассматривается технология «пункт назначения» как механизм, который позволяет использовать разнообразные формы и методы работы, направленные на совершенствование иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции молодых ученых в условиях летней языковой школы. Автор подчеркивает эффективность работы летней языковой школы молодых ученых на базе высшего учебного заведения как одну из альтернативных форм обучения, что соответствует принципу непрерывного образования, способствует совершенствованию как коммуникативной компетенции молодых ученых, так и их профессионального мастерства в целом. The author of this article considers the technology "destination" as a mechanism that allows the use of various forms and methods of work aimed at improving foreign language communicative competence of young scientists in the summer language school. The author emphasizes the efficiency of the summer language school for young scientists on the basis of high school as one of the alternative forms of education, which corresponds to the principle of lifelong learning, helps to improve the communicative competence of young scientists and their professional skills in general

Автор наголошує на важливості удосконалення іншомовної комунікативної компетенції як обов'язкової умови професійної компетентності фахівця. Розуміння конкретних завдань, мотивація є важливими факторами організації процесу підвищення іншомовної мовленнєвої компетенції. Розвиток сучасних інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій, а саме технологій мобільного навчання забезпечує ефективність, гнучкість, динамічність і доступність навчання. Мобільне навчання посідає вагоме місце у процесі розвитку мовленнєвих вмінь. У дослідженні проаналізовано онлайн ресурси, такі як тести, аудіо та відео матеріали, ігри, словники, мобільні додатки з удосконалення мовленнєвих вмінь. Автор наголошує на використанні мобільних пристроїв, які відіграють важливу роль у нашому повсякденному житті, як потужної ефективної навчальної технології. Запропоновано інші шляхи підвищення рівня мовленнєвої компетенції, такі як навчання в мовних школах, підготовка до міжнародних іспитів. У статті проаналізовано технології навчання й навчальні ресурси.В статье рассматривается понятие иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции в контексте профессионального развития личности. Автор подчеркивает важность совершенствования иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции как обязательного условия профессиональной компетентности специалиста. Понимание конкретных задач, мотивация являются важными факторами организации процесса повышения иноязычной речевой компетенции. Развитие современных информационно-коммуникационных технологий, а именно технологий мобильного обучения обеспечивает эффективность, гибкость, динамичность и доступность обучения. Мобильное обучение занимает важное место в процессе развития речевых умений. В исследовании проанализированы онлайн ресурсы, такие как тесты, аудио и видео материалы, игры, словари, мобильные приложения по совершенствованию коммуникативных умений. Автор делает акцент на использовании мобильных устройств, которые играют важную роль в нашей повседневной жизни, как мощной эффективной учебной технологии. Предложены другие пути повышения уровня речевой компетенции, такие как обучение в языковых школах, подготовка к международным экзаменам. В статье проанализированы технологии обучения и учебные ресурсы.In the article the concept of foreign language communicative competence in the context of professional development of the individual has been considered. The author emphasizes the importance of improving foreign language communicative competence as a prerequisite of professional competence of the expert. Understanding the specific tasks and motivation are important factors in the process of improving foreign language competence. The development of modern information and communication technologies, such as mobile learning technology provides effectiveness, flexibility, agility and accessibility of education. Mobile learning occupies an important place in the development of foreign communication skills. Online resources such as tests, audio and video materials, games, dictionaries, mobile applications to improve foreign communication skills have been analysed in the research. The author emphasizes the use of mobile devices, which play an important role in our daily lives as powerful and effective educational technology. Other ways to enhance communicative competence, such as study in language schools, preparation for international exams have been considered. Taking into Account Material Damping in Seismic Analysis of Structures

The purpose of this paper is to justify that it is necessary to take into account physical and mechanical properties of soil and different materials of erected structures for damping vibrations in dynamic loads, and to suggest tools for modelling the damping effect (natural or engineering induced) between foundation and soil. A technique is suggested for modelling the behavior of structure in time history analysis taking into account material damping. When solving this problem, the following results were obtained: the physical meaning of material damping was described; Rayleigh damping coefficients were computed through modal damping coefficients. Numerical analysis was carried out for the structure together with soil in earthquake load. Time history analysis was carried out for the problem. Peak values of displacement, speed and acceleration at the roof levels were compared. Analysis results were compared (with and without taking into account material damping). Significant influence of damping on the stress-strain state of the structure has been confirmed

Dynamics of solar wind protons reflected by the Moon

Solar system bodies that lack a significant atmosphere and significant internal magnetic fields, such as the Moon and asteroids, have been considered as passive absorbers of the solar wind. However, ion observations near the Moon by the SELENE spacecraft show that a fraction of the impacting solar wind protons are reflected by the surface of the Moon. Using new observations of the velocity spectrum of these reflected protons by the SARA experiment on-board the Chandrayaan-1 spacecraft at the Moon, we show by modeling that the reflection of solar wind protons will affect the global plasma environment. These global perturbations of the ion fluxes and the magnetic fields will depend on microscopic properties of the object's reflecting surface. This solar wind reflection process could explain past ion observations at the Moon, and the process should occur universally at all atmosphereless non-magnetized objects.Comment: 12 pages, 8 figure

This article describes different architecture of access networks, access protocols; also, we analyzed the characteristics of optical networks FTTH (Fiber to the Home). The optical fiber with today is the main transport medium in the backbone and metro network. Using of fiber optic cable instead of copper cable has allowed to significantly increasing the quality of service. The greatest potential for broadband networks today have a fiber-optic technology under the general term FTTX (Fiber To The X - fiber to the X point), in which from the node connection to a specified location (point X) comes optics, and then to the subscriber - copper cable (and possible option, in which optics routed directly to a subscriber unit). Fiber optic access networks currently based on different architectures and technologies. Standards for these technologies and available of equipment make development of service-provider networks without risks. The success of their work stimulate to the dynamic development of the industry. Nowadays the PON architecture became very popular. The main factors of the most configurations of Ethernet FTTH it is the flexibility of the business model and the ability to support future services.В настоящее время архитектуры на базе PON получили большое распространение. Основными факторами большинства конфигураций Ethernet FTTH является гибкость бизнес-модели и способность поддерживать будущие сервисы. В этой статье описываются различные архитектуры сетей доступа, рассматриваются протоколы доступа, а также анализируются характеристики оптических сетей FTTH (Fiber to the Home). Успешность их деятельности является стимулом к динамичному развитию этой отрасли

A simple high-sensitivity technique for purity analysis of xenon gas

We report on the development and performance of a high-sensitivity purity-analysis technique for gaseous xenon. The gas is sampled at macroscopic pressure from the system of interest using a UHV leak valve. The xenon present in the sample is removed with a liquid-nitrogen cold trap, and the remaining impurities are observed with a standard vacuum mass-spectroscopy device. Using calibrated samples of xenon gas spiked with known levels of impurities, we find that the minimum detectable levels of N2, O2, and methane are 1 ppb, 160 ppt, and 60 ppt respectively. This represents an improvement of about a factor of 10,000 compared to measurements performed without a coldtrap.Comment: 20 pages, 5 figure
