Concurrent Design Strategy for Improving Public Wheelchairs for People with Disabilities
Traveling abroad is an easy activity for regular individuals, but it can be an inconvenience to those with disabilities. To ensure airport and aviation security, passengers with disabilities are required to fold and check-in their wheelchairs, use an airport-supplied wheelchair, present themselves at the airline counter, and go through a security check. Once they enter the cabin, they move to another wheelchair, which is designed to fit in the cabin aisles. Such an accessibility service of requiring passengers with disabilities to move from the airline counter in one wheelchair and then change to another in order to reach the cabin is inconvenient and underlines. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a new type of wheelchair. Based on the aforementioned reasons, this study will use a concurrent design strategy to design a wheelchair as described earlier according to the concept of simultaneous design. First, find out the positioning of the product, then use the target tree to formulate the design specification, and use the finite structure analysis method (FSM) to conceive and diverge. Then select the best solution based on PUGH concept matrix selection, and complete the detailed design and 3D model. The results show that this procedure can simplify wheelchair design, improve the competitiveness of wheelchairs in the market, meet the needs of people with disabilities, ensure wheelchair quality, and enhance the likelihood of its mass production.

Quantitation of buried contamination by use of solvents
Spore recovery form cured silicone potting compounds using amine solvents to degrade the cured polymers was investigated. A complete list of solvents and a description of the effect of each on two different silicone polymers is provided
Concurrent Design Strategy in Modeling and Structure of Electric Scooter for Young Disabilities
Disabled people often use the electric scooter as a means of transport. However, the electric scooter designed for disabilities is too bulky and not light in shape. It is not only awkward on the road but brings inconvenience to young people with disabilities. In the first phase of the study, first the electric scooter with a higher market share as a design reference was collected; then we use the image scale analysis to determine the market position of the electric scooter. Combine each major component and derive detail design of the product through Morphological chart method and Finite Structure Method (FSM). This study uses this method to complete the development of product modeling and analyze the configuration of the product as the main function in the structural and main function in space. Let function and appearance have the efficient combination. Then use Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to obtain objective decision results. The use of Concurrent Design Strategy can effectively shorten the development process and increase the chance of product success.

Direct CP and T Violation in Baryonic B Decays
We review the direct CP and T violation in the three-body baryonic B decays
in the standard model. In particular, we emphasize that the direct CP violating
asymmetry in is around 22% and the direct
violating asymmetry in \bar B^0 \ra \Lambda \bar p \pi^+ can be as large as
12%, which are accessible to the current B factories at KEK and SLAC as well as
SuperB and LHCb.Comment: 6 pages, Talk given at 4th International Conference on Flavor Physics

Critical behavior of the 3-state Potts model on Sierpinski carpet
We study the critical behavior of the 3-state Potts model, where the spins
are located at the centers of the occupied squares of the deterministic
Sierpinski carpet. A finite-size scaling analysis is performed from Monte Carlo
simulations, for a Hausdorff dimension . The phase
transition is shown to be a second order one. The maxima of the susceptibility
of the order parameter follow a power law in a very reliable way, which enables
us to calculate the ratio of the exponents . We find that the
scaling corrections affect the behavior of most of the thermodynamical
quantities. However, the sequence of intersection points extracted from the
Binder's cumulant provides bounds for the critical temperature. We are able to
give the bounds for the exponent as well as for the ratio of the
exponents , which are compatible with the results calculated from
the hyperscaling relation.Comment: 13 pages, 4 figure
