The Research on Competitive Abilities for Sustainable Development of Small and Medium-sized Textile Enterprises in Shandong Province
Under the condition of market competition, the success and the failure of the enterprise management is normally regarded as the result of āsuperior winning while inferior outā. Yet for the community of theorists and entrepreneurs, what are the reasons leading to the enterprise bankruptcy or successful are important research topics.
Among the small and medium-sized enterprises in China, most are loose and innovating slowly in their business management. The lower competitive ability has become the serious barrier for their sustainable development. Comprehensive analysis are made on the positive factors and adverse factors affecting sustainable development of small and medium-sized textile enterprises of Shandong Province according to on-the-spot investigations. How to gain and maintain the continued survival and development ability of the enterprises, and how to enhance competitive ability and realize the sustainable development are analyzed. And three kinds of development strategies are put forward
Cinnamic aldehyde treatment alleviates chronic unexpected stress-induced depressive-like behaviors via targeting cyclooxygenase-2 in mid-aged rats
Ethnopharmacological relevance: COX-2 has been considered as a potent molecular target for prevention and therapy of depression. However, a recent study showed that COX-2 inhibitor does not improve depressive symptoms in persons aged 70 and over. Therefore, whether treatments targeting COX-2 have a clinical efficacy in depression, especially elderly individuals, remains unclear. Cinnamic aldehyde is a major constituent of Cinnamomum cassia, which has exhibited excellent anti-inflammatory activities as a COX-2 inhibitor. To investigate the potential antidepressant effect of cinnamic aldehyde in mid-aged rats

Construction of a Fish-like Robot Based on High Performance Graphene/PVDF Bimorph Actuation Materials.
Smart actuators have many potential applications in various areas, so the development of novel actuation materials, with facile fabricating methods and excellent performances, are still urgent needs. In this work, a novel electromechanical bimorph actuator constituted by a graphene layer and a PVDF layer, is fabricated through a simple yet versatile solution approach. The bimorph actuator can deflect toward the graphene side under electrical stimulus, due to the differences in coefficient of thermal expansion between the two layers and the converse piezoelectric effect and electrostrictive property of the PVDF layer. Under low voltage stimulus, the actuator (length: 20 mm, width: 3 mm) can generate large actuation motion with a maximum deflection of about 14.0 mm within 0.262 s and produce high actuation stress (more than 312.7 MPa/g). The bimorph actuator also can display reversible swing behavior with long cycle life under high frequencies. on this basis, a fish-like robot that can swim at the speed of 5.02 mm/s is designed and demonstrated. The designed graphene-PVDF bimorph actuator exhibits the overall novel performance compared with many other electromechanical avtuators, and may contribute to the practical actuation applications of graphene-based materials at a macro scale
Effects of Compound Danshen tablets on spatial cognition and expression of brain Ī²-amyloid precursor protein in a rat model of alzheimer's disease
AbstractObjectiveTo observe the effects of Compound Danshen Tablets (CDST) on spatial cognition and expression of brain b-amyloid precursor protein (Ī²-APP) in a rat model of Alzheimer's disease.MethodsThe rat model of Alzheimer's disease (AD) was established using D-galactose to cause subacute aging combined with Meynert nucleus damage. Rat behavior was monitored using the Morris water maze, and the expression of Ī²-APP in rat brain tissue was detected via immunohistochemistry.ResultsCDST significantly improved spatial cognition and decreased Ī²-APP expression in the cortex and hippocampus (P<0.05, P<0.01).ConclusionsCDST can significantly improve spatial cognition in a rat model of AD. This observation is possibly related to a reduction in Ī²-APP expression in the rat brain
Integrated Gradients is a Nonlinear Generalization of the Industry Standard Approach to Variable Attribution for Credit Risk Models
In modern society, epistemic uncertainty limits trust in financial relationships, necessitating transparency and accountability mechanisms for both consumers and lenders. One upshot is that credit risk assessments must be explainable to the consumer. In the United States regulatory milieu, this entails both the identification of key factors in a decision and the provision of consistent actions that would improve standing. The traditionally accepted approach to explainable credit risk modeling involves generating scores with Generalized Linear Models (GLMs) - usually logistic regression, calculating the contribution of each predictor to the total points lost from the theoretical maximum, and generating reason codes based on the 4 or 5 most impactful predictors. The industry standard approach is not directly applicable to a more expressive and flexible class of nonlinear models known as neural networks. This paper demonstrates that an eXplainable AI (XAI) variable attribution technique known as Integrated Gradients (IG) is a natural generalization of the industry standard to neural networks. We also discuss the unique semantics surrounding implementation details in this nonlinear context. While the primary purpose of this paper is to introduce IG to the credit industry and argue for its establishment as an industry standard, a secondary goal is to familiarize academia with the legislative constraints ā including their historical and philosophical roots ā and sketch the standard approach in the credit industry since there is a dearth of literature on the topic
