Preventive youth health care in 11 European countries: an exploratory analysis

Objective: To systematically identify similarities and differences in the way preventive youth health care (YHC) is organized in 11 European countries. - \ud Method: Questionnaire survey to EUSUHM (European Union for School and University Health and Medicine) representatives. - \ud Results: The greatest similarities were found in the age range of the YHC target group and the separation of curative and preventive services. Croatia, Germany and Switzerland show the greatest differences when compared to other European countries, for example, in the access to medical records, YHC professional input and the number of examinations, immunizations and screenings. In eight countries YHC is financed by national insurances or taxation. In Germany, FYR Macedonia, the Netherlands, Russia and Switzerland, different forms of financing exist in parallel. - Conclusion The results should be interpreted as a preliminary step in mapping organizational features of YHC in Europe

The effects of saliency on manual reach trajectories and reach target selection

AbstractReaching trajectories curve toward salient distractors, reflecting the competing activation of reach plans toward target and distractor stimuli. We investigated whether the relative saliency of target and distractor influenced the curvature of the movement and the selection of the final endpoint of the reach. Participants were asked to reach a bar tilted to the right in a context of gray vertical bars. A bar tilted to the left served as distractor. Relative stimulus saliency was varied via color: either the distractor was red and the target was gray, or vice versa. Throughout, we observed that reach trajectories deviated toward the distractor. Surprisingly, relative saliency had no effect on the curvature of reach trajectories. Moreover, when we increased time pressure in separate experiments and analyzed the curvature as a function of reaction time, no influence of relative stimulus saliency was found, not even for the fastest reaction times. If anything, curvature decreased with strong time pressure. In contrast, reach target selection under strong time pressure was influenced by relative saliency: reaches with short reaction times were likely to go to the red distractor. The time course of reach target selection was comparable to saccadic target selection. Implications for the neural basis of trajectory deviations and target selection in manual and eye movements are discussed

This research aims to analyze stakeholders for the implementation of conservation partnerships on Mantehage Island and formulate strategies for implementing conservation partnerships on Mantehage Island. This research was conducted from April to July 2022. The research method used a qualitative and quantitative descriptive approach. Primary data were obtained through direct interviews with managers of the Bunaken National Park area, village governments and community leaders on Mantehage Island. The questionnaire was conducted on the people on Mantehage Island with a total of 30 respondents who have plantation land on Mantehage Island. Secondary data was obtained from the Bunaken National Park Management Plan document for 2019-2028 as well as village monograph data. The results showed that there were seven stakeholders with the implementation of conservation partnerships on Mantehage Island, namely the Bunaken National Park Office, Local Communities, Village Governments and Non-Governmental Organizations as Key Players; Farmer's Group is located as Subject; Academics/Universities are located as Context Setters and Investors are located as Crowd. The results of the analysis related to the strategy of implementing conservation partnerships on Mantehage Island using the SWOT method show a position in quadrant I, namely supporting an aggressive strategy in which the implementation of conservation partnerships on Mantehage Island is supported by great strengths and opportunities

ANALISIS HIRARKI PUSAT PELAYANAN PERKOTAAN DI KOTA BITUNG

The first objective of this study is to identify the availability and suitability of standardization of government, social, and economic facilities in the city of Bitung. The second is to analyze the Hierarchy of Service Centers in Bitung City. And the third is to analyze the suitability of the service center in the Bitung City RTRW 2013 – 2033 to the existing conditions. The type of data used in this research is secondary data. The data collection methods used are observation, literature review, and documentation study. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using the scalogram analysis method, centrality index, and gravity analysis. The first result of this research is based on the conformity of service standardization according to SNI 03-1733-2004, most of the service facilities in Bitung City have met the service standard. The second is based on the results of the scholagram analysis, order/hierarchy I, namely Madidir District. Based on the analysis of the marshal centrality index, Madidir and Maesa sub-districts occupy the first order/hierarchy. Based on gravity analysis, three sub-districts have been found to have weak regional interaction values with Madidir and Maesa sub-districts. And the third, based on the RTRW of Bitung City in 2013-2033, it has undergone changes in accordance with the dynamic development of the city
