    The COVID-19 pandemic has caused the economy in Indonesia to decline and credit risk to banks to increase. Risks that have increased in line with the increasing trend of the gross Non-Performing Loans ratio since 2020 compared to previous years, the Non-Performing Loans (NPL) ratio has a higher trend, thus encouraging the relative increase in Non-Performing Loans (NPL) in several sectors, including the banking sector. This study tests the effect of Non-Performing Loans (NPL), investment decisions, and company age on Tobin's Q on conventional banking sub-sector companies registered with the OJK during the Covid-19 pandemic (2020-2021 period). The study was conducted with multiple linear regression analysis. The population was all conventional banking companies registered with the OJK, while the research sample was 58, with the retrieval technique using random sampling. The result of this study is that investment decisions have a positive and significant influence on Tobin's Q. In contrast, Non-Performing Loans (NPL) and company age do not influence Tobin's Q

    Ag Doped ZnO Thin Films Synthesized by Spray Coating Technique for Methylene Blue Photodegradation under UV Irradiation

    Silver (Ag) substituted ZnO thin films were successfully deposited onto glass substrates by spray coating technique. Structure, morphology, and optical properties were evaluated by X-ray diffractometer (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and UV-Vis spectrophotometer, respectively. XRD spectra had polycrystalline wurtzite structure; SEM images showed that thin films had different surface morphology at different Ag doping concentration. From transmittance spectra, thin films transparency decreased as well as band gap energy along with increase of Ag doping concentration. Methylene blue (MB) solution was used as a pollutant in the photodegradation studies. Under UV light irradiation, the optimal Ag doping is 25%, with 83% of the decolorizing efficiencies after 3 h irradiation time and apparent constant (kapp) about 9.69 × 10−3 min−1

    Synthesized of Double Layer Thin Film ZnO/ZnO:Ag by Sol-Gel Method for Direct Blue 71 Photodegradation

    The objective of this paper is to synthesize and to characterize a single and a double layer ZnO and ZnO/ZnO:Ag thin films and their application for degradation of direct blue 71. Double layer (DL) thin films of zinc oxide and silver-doped zinc oxide (ZnO/ZnO:Ag) were deposited on the substrate glass by using sol-gel spray coating technique. Ag doping variations (2, 4, 6 and 8 %mol) into ZnO were studied. X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD) and UV-Vis spectrophotometer were used to analyze structure and optical properties of thin films. Direct Blue 71 (DB71) was used for photocatalytic evaluation under UV light irradiation. XRD result showed that all prepared thin films have wurtzite structure with better crytalinity compared to double layer preparation and increasing concentration of Ag doping. UV-Vis transmittance spectra showed that decreasing of transparency of films followed by DL preparation and Ag doping concentration. By using envelope method, energy gap of films can be determined. ZnO/ZnO:Ag 6% (DL 6%) indicated the smallest energy gap 3,038 eV. The highest DB71 degradation result under UV light irradiation was reached by DL 6% with 55.43% and 8.56 x 10-3 min-1 for photocatalytic efficiency and photodegradation rate, respectively

    Study On Production Process of Biodiesel from Rubber Seed (Hevea Brasiliensis) by In Situ Transesterification Method with Alkaline Catalyzed

    Biodiesel is methyl or ethyl fatty acids generated from vegetable oils (edible and non edible) or animal fats. Production of biodiesel from rubber seeds by in situ alkaline catalyzed method from non edible raw materials with a major goal for alternative fuels was studied. The objective of this research is to investigate the influence of reaction time, concentration of alkaline catalyst and ratio raw materials : methanol to the production of biodiesel. The first stage was carried out in order to get reaction time based on the density and viscosity of mixture. In this process, KOH 0.5% (w/v) was used as catalyst with the ratio rubber seed to methanol (1:2). Experiments followed by process with catalyst concentration variation in range 0.1-1% (w/v) and ratio rubber seed to methanol in range 1:1.5-1:3. Research method included, the preparation of samples, biodiesel production, biodiesel separation, and biodiesel characterization include density, viscosity, GC analysis, acid value and Iodine number. The results show that operation time for biodiesel production by using in situ method with alkaline catalyzed was 120 minutes and maximum yield of Fatty Acid Methyl Ester (FAME) was obtained at 52.86%

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kememadaian penerapan Sistem Manajemen Mutu ISO 9001: 2000 pada perusahaan dan untuk mengetahui dampaknya terhadap biaya kualitas dan profitabilitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan studi kasus dan metode statistik yang digunakan adalah Champion. Unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah PT World Yamatex Spinning Mills (WYSM). Responden dari penelitian ini adalah pegawai bagian Auditor Internal PT World Yamatex Spinning Mills. Hasil penelitian kualitatif dan hasil analisa jawaban kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan telah menerapkan Sistem Manajemen Mutu ISO 9001: 2000 sejak tahun 1998, pada umumnya seluruh elemen ISO 9001: 2000 telah diterapkan dengan memadai. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Sistem Manajemen Mutu ISO 9001: 2000 telah diterapkan dengan memadai pada PT World Yamatex Spinning Mills (WYSM) dan penerapan tersebut berdampak positif terhadap biaya kualitas dan profitabilitas

    Vinasse is ethanol wastewater that still contains nutrients. It can be medium cultivation for Chlorella sp. Cultivation Chlorella sp. in vinasse did not only minimize its COD content but also potentially produce Poly–Hydroxy Butyrate (PHB) in a limited nutrient. This paper presents a cultivation process of Chlorella sp. in vinasse on the various limited nutrient. Chlorella sp. was cultivated in vinasse by adding complete nutrient (urea and TSP), TSP (limited N), and urea (limited P). Experimental data was optimized by a mathematical model to predict the behavior of the Chlorella sp. in limited nutrient systematically. The study confirmed that the best condition of the cultivation medium of Chlorella sp. to minimize COD content in vinasse by addition phosphate into the reactor. However, PHB could be best accumulated in the cell on limited phosphate
