    This research was conducted to investigate the characteristics of heat transfer and pressure drop of tapered cylindrical pin fins array in the rectangular channel. The pin fins were arranged either inline or staggered. The average temperature of base plate surface was kept constant at 60oC. Pin fins were made of duralumin having the dimension of 75 mm of height, base and tip diameter 12.7 and 7 mm respectively, and the distance inter-fin pitch in the spanwise direction, Sx/D, was kept constant at 2.95. The parameters of this research were Reynolds number 3,100 – 39,200 for the inline array and 3,095 – 37,741 for the staggered array based on averaged inlet air velocity and hydraulic diameter, and the distance between the inter-fin pitch in the streamwise direction, Sy/D, was varied at 1.97, 2.36, 2.95, and 3.94. The research result shows that for both fin arrangements increasing Reynolds number and decreasing the distance Sy/D increases Nusselt number, that means increases heat transfer rate where it reaches maximum at Sy/D = 2.36. The values of pressure drop (P) and friction factor (f) decreases with increasing Sy/D

    Optimization of Electrodeposition Parameters to Increase 99mTc Radioactive Concentration

    The use of low activity concentration 99mTc would result in low-quality labeled compound for diagnostic purpose. The low activity concentration of labeled compound will alter biodistribution and lead to false imaging in diagnostic applications. Electrodeposition could be an alternative method for increasing the activity concentration of 99mTc solution. The influence of electrodeposition parameters such as electrolytes, concentration of electrolyte, and voltage and time of deposition were examined to find the optimum condition for electrodeposition. Electrolytes to be evaluated were NaNO2, Na-oxalate, NaOH, and NaCl. Concentration factor is defined by ratio of final against initial concentration of 99mTc. The quality assessment of 99mTc after electrodeposition was conducted by labeling test of methylene diphosphonate (MDP) and 1,4,8,11-tetraaza cyclotetradecyl-1,4,8,11-tetramethylene phosphonic acid (CTMP). The results showed that the addition of NaNO2 electrolyte gave the highest electrodeposition yield in comparison with Na-oxalate, NaOH, and NaCl, while the optimum concentration of electrolytes was 0.67 M. The optimum depostion voltage and duration were 7 V and 90 minutes, respectively. The electrodeposition yield was 96 % under optimized condition with a concentration factor of up to 7.96. In the quality assessment, MDP and CTMP were successfully labeled by concentrated 99mTc to give 99mTc-MDP and 99mTc-CTMP labeled compounds with radiochemical purities of more than 95 %.Received: 2 November 2015; Revised: 14 July 2016; Accepted: 3 October 201

    Pengrajin di Desa Karassik, Kecamatan Kesu\u27, Kabupaten Toraja Utara, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan masih menggunakan alat tradisional dalam proses pembuatan Batik Sarita, hal ini memerlukan waktu yang cukup lama mulai dari pembuatan sketsa sampai proses penorehan cairan malam di atas kain dan diperlukan teknik membatik untuk menghasilkan produk batik yang berkualitas.Selain itu dalam proses pembuatan Batik Sarita diperlukan banyak peralatan.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang alat bantu untuk mempermudah proses pembuatan Batik Sarita.Dalam penelitian ini perancangan alat bantu proses pembuatan Batik Sarita menggunakan metode perancangan produk model proses perancangan deskriptif French. Perancangan dengan menggunakan metode ini diawali dengan menentukan kebutuhan konsumen untuk menganalisis masalah. Setelah itu dilakuak perancangan konsep dan mencari solusi alternatif untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen. Setelah didapatkan solusi alternatif, langkah selanjutanya adalah membuat prototype,,dan langkah terakhir adalah melakukan uji coba terhadap alat bantu proses pembuatan Batik Sarita yang sesuai dengan konsep rancangan. Penelitian ini telah berhasil mengembangkan alat bantu proses pembuatan Batik Sarita, dikembangkan dengan memodifikasi Pantograph dan merancang kompor elektrik dalam proses pembuatan Batik Sarita. Hasil yang diperoleh dari alat rancangan baru mampu mempermudah proses pembuatan Batik Sarita dimana pengrajin tidak perlu membuat sketsa atau pola di atas kain. Sketsa dapat dibuat di atas kertas yang bisa digunakan berkali-kali. Selain itu suhu dan keenceran cairan malam dapat dikontrol dengan mudah karena menggunakan kompor elektrik yang dilengkapi dengan sensor suhu. After that, Matahari Silverindo Jaya make their product with machine.The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of service quality, price and promotion on loyalty through cotumer satisfaction at Matahari Silverindo Jaya Company Semarang. The type of this research is Explanatory Research with data used in this study is primary data obtained using questionnaire and library research. Analysis of data using simple linear regression and multiple regression test with SPSS 16.0.     Growth of Performance Silver Pompano Fish Fry, Trachinotus Blocii (Lacepede) Cultured in the Net Cage at the Pond

    Silver pompano fish is a prospective commodity that can be cultured and contains high economic value. Due to its high economic value nationally and Internationally, it is important to develop nursery business. The silver pompano fish nursery conducted in a pond become efficient because it can be easily controlled. The purpose of the study was to know the technology and growth of silver pompano fish fry in cages at a pond. Research activities were carried out in the hafa size (3x3x1m3) in ponds. The seeds were taken from hatchery with size of 5.0-6.0 cm. Stocking density of seeds were 50 pc/ m³. The nursery were reared for 90 days till the fry reached their size in between 15.0 and 18.0 cm. The commercial pellets with protein content of 28-30% with dose of 5-8% of body weight were provided in the morning and afternoon at satiation. Sampling of fry was conducted every 30 days, to measure the survival rate (SR), total length (TL) and body weight (BW). Data were processed with descriptive analysis. The results showed that the survival rate was 90.20 ± 2.60 %, total length was 16.80± 2.70 cm, and body weight was 145.20 ± 2.70 g. The diversity of fry has four size categories i.e., large (L), medium (M), small (S), and super small (SS) with percentage average of 17.50%, 52.70%, 20.70% and 9.10%, respectively

    Administrator jaringan bertanggung jawab melakukan monitoring jaringan terhadap suatu jaringan komputer. Monitoring harusnya dilakukan secara terus menerus untuk menjaga kualitas jaringan, karena kesalahan pada jaringan tidak bisa dideteksi kapan terjadinya. Hal ini akan menyulitkan jika administrator berada jauh dari pusat pengawasan. Situasi ini bisa berakibat fatal jika terjadi kesalahan jaringan yang tidak diketahui karena administrator jaringan sedang tidak ada di tempat pengawasan. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi SMS gateway yang menggunakan server berbasis Linux, administrator jaringan dapat mendapatkan informasi kondisi server secara cepat. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah sebuah sistem yang mampu membantu administrator jaringan dalam melakukan monitoring jaringan kapan saja dan dimana saja untuk menjaga jaringan akan tetap stabil walaupun administrator jaringan sedang tidak di pusat pengawasan

    Preparation of 99mTc-Kanamycin Using a Direct Labeling Method

    Infectious diseases are still the leading cause of death in the world. The accurate technique for early detection and determination of the exact location of infection in the body is still needed. Nuclear techniques are capable for this purpose while other techniques such as MRI, USG and CT-SCAN sometimes cannot be applied. 99mTc-kanamycin radiopharmaceutical is complex of kanamycin and technetium-99m radionuclide, was used for bacterial detection of infection. The labeling studies of 99mTc-kanamycin has been carried out by the indirect labeling method using pyrophosphate as a co-ligand with the results of labeling efficiency above 95%. However, the presence of radiochemical impurities in the form of 99mTc-pyrophosphate in the indirect labeling have to be considered which may interfere the imaging result. This study aimed to determine the optimum labeling conditions of 99mTc-kanamycin by direct labeling method. Kanamycin was successfully labeled with technetium-99m through direct labeling method. The labeling efficiency was determined by ascending paper chromatography using Whatman 3 paper as the stationary phase, and acetone as the mobile phase to separate the radiochemical impurities in the form of 99mTc-pertechnetate. While impurities in the form of 99mTc-reduced were separated using the stationary phase ITLC-SG and 0.5 N NaOH as mobile phase. The experiment result showed that the optimum labeling conditions obtained by using 5 mg kanamycin, 30 µg SnCl2.2H2O, and pH of labeling was 9. The incubation time of labeling was 30 min at room temperature, provided labeling efficiency of 92.31 ± 1.74 %.The successful of kanamycin labeling with high efficiency makes 99mTc-kanamycin can potentially be used as a radiopharmaceutical for the early detection of infectious diseasesReceived: 04 October 2014; Revised: 28 June 2015; Accepted: 11 August 201

While at the house mouse (R. tanezumi)­can­be­identified­serovar­autumnalis­(66.67%­of­3­tail)­and­Bataviae­(33.33%).­This­showsthat rats are an important reservoir of leptospirosis.     Karakterisasi Bakteri Pendegradasi Fenol Dan Pembentuk Biofilm Dari Sumber Alami Dan Artifisial

    Fenol merupakan salah satu polutan air tanah yang memiliki sifat toksik bagi manusia maupun lingkungan. Salah satu teknologi yang dapat diaplikasikan untuk pengolahan limbah fenol adalah melalui bioremediasi dengan memanfaatkan aktivitas bakteri. Secara umum, bakteri di alam akan tumbuh dan membentuk biofilm. Bakteri pembentuk biofilm memiliki beberapa kelebihan, diantaranya mampu bertahan hidup dalam lingkungan yang kurang menguntungkan serta meningkatkan degradasi senyawa rekalsitran, karena bakteri akan saling berinteraksi dan saling melengkapi proses metabolik yang ada. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk karakterisasi dan identifikasi isolat bakteri pendegradasi fenol dan pembentuk biofilm yang diperoleh dari limbah cair rumah sakit dan industri tekstil serta dari tanah gambut. Karakter yang diamati meliputi karakter morfologi koloni dan sel, serta karakter biokimiawi. Hasil karakterisasi selanjutnya digunakan untuk identifikasi menggunakan analisis profile matching isolat terpilih berdasarkan Bergey's Manual of Determinative Bacteriology. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa bakteri yang diperoleh dari limbah cair rumah sakit memiliki karakter yang mirip dengan Genus Micrococcus (isolat DL120), Genus Enterobacter (DOK135), dan Genus Bacillus (ATA6). Isolat TU3 dari limbah cair industri tekstil mirip dengan Genus Flavobacterium. Isolat HG1, SG3, dan HP3 yang diperoleh dari tanah gambut berturut-turut menunjukkan karakter yang mirip dengan Genus Alcaligenes, Arthrobacter, dan Rhodococcus
