IDEOLOGY OF FREEDOM IN ADVERTISEMENT OF TRI (3) PROVIDER “ALWAYS ONâ€

Advertisement ―Always on‖ from the Tri (3) provider which aired in 2012 showed a woman who woke up in the morning. She opened a window, than stood in a river in a long skirt. The woman boarded a city bus carrying advertising provider leaflet at the end of sequence. The main idea of the advertisement "Always On" is about the ideology of freedom. The ideology are freedom of space, expression, time, and  conected to other operators. The advertisement "Always On" is very interesting todiscuss because it seems to reconstruct the meaning of freedom that applies in thesocial life. Documentary cinema studies use semiotic approach by Roland Barthesto achieve the objectives of the analysis. The aim showed how the ideology ofreconstructed freedom is incorporated into the commercial ideology of Tri (3)provider. If someone or a group of society wants to spread its ideology, present itin one of cultural expression, both in verbal language and in other ways ofcommunicating (paintings, comics, advertisements, films, etc.). It means that willcreate a myth. The problem is how will find that ideology in cultural expression?The semiotic theory proposed by Roland Barthes can help us in this matter. Theresults of the analysis of the narrative's elements (sequences; themes, plot,characterizations, symbols, and metaphors) it was found that all these narrativeelements are closely related to the ideology of freedom reconstructed into thecommercial ideology of Tri (3) provider. The same connection is also found in thecinematographic elements (images, movements, and sounds). The connection ofcinematographic elements with narrative elements reinforces the interrelationshipbetween the structure of the exhibition and the depiction of the ideology offreedom. More specifically, the purpose of this qualitative research is to find outhow the relationship between narrative and cinematographic elements is in the"Always On" advertisement with the meaning of true freedom offered by Tri (3)provider.Keywords: Advertisement, myth, ideology, freedom, semiotics, narrative,cinematograph

Improving The Quality of Life of Patients with Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 with Treatment Adherence

Diabetes is a complex, chronic illness requiring continuous medical care with a multifactorial risk reduction strategy beyond glycemic control. Quality of life in type 2 diabetes mellitus(DM) is one indicator of successful disease management. This study aimed to determine the extent to which medication adherence affects the quality of life. The method used by searching the literature of scientific publications in the time of years between 2016-2021 using the Pubmed database, Science Direct, Cinahl, Willey Online Library and google scholar, there were 2.281articles. The result of the literature review found nine articles that fit inclusion and exclusion criteria, it was found that several variables can improve the quality of life in type 2 DM, one of which is treatment adherence. Treatment adherence is a major predictor in improving the quality of life in type 2 DM when compared with other variables. It is important to develop DM management interventions that focus on improving treatment adherence

The Effectiveness of the Minimal Pairs Technique in Learning Japanese Pronunciation

Distinguishing and pronouncing the sound of sha, sa, ja, za, tsu, double sounds, long sounds, nasal sounds, and youon sounds are still considered difficult for Japanese learners; it is becoming a problem because when the learners cannot distinguish the correct sounds in Japanese, it will result in an inability to pronounce and write Japanese sounds correctly. This study has tested the effectiveness of the minimal pairs technique in learning Japanese pronunciation and the learners's response to the technique. The research employed a quasi-experimental quantitative method by applying the minimal pairs technique to learn Japanese pronunciation in one class, Japanese level N5 or beginner level. The comparative statistical calculation result showed that the Minimal Pairs model is effective in improving Japanese pronunciation in long vowels, double consonants, semi-vowel sounds, tsu sounds, nasal sounds, and also helped the learners’ to understand differences in sa and sha line sounds and the difference between the sounds of the za and ja lines. The questionnaire result showed that the learners feel that the technique is quite tedious, but on the other hand, the technique is beneficial for them in learning and practicing Japanese pronunciation

Postcolonial Studies: Hybridity and the Dominance of Whites over Blacks in American Poetry

This study aims to reveal the postcolonial issues contained in poetry I, Too by Langston Hughes and Incident by Countee Cullen. Both authors of these poems are figures from black people in America. The method used in this study is the qualitative method and literature study approach with the aim of exploring, describing, and understanding how the hybridity and dominance of whites over blacks in American poetry. The data source of this study is the words and phrases in both poems. The data containing postcolonial: hybridity and mimicry in the poems were characterized and analyzed using Homi K. Bhabha's theory (2007). Bhabha in his thinking tries to provide a "middle space" between the colonizer and the colonized. Bhabha states the concept of a “middle space” as a time-lag. This space is an intercultural space where personal and communal self-defense strategies can be developed. All of these cultural expressions and systems are built in a space called the “third space of enunciation”. Interestingly, the issue of hybridity that occurred a century ago has not completely gone in a better direction. The proof is that at the beginning of the first semester of 2020 there was an incident of violence against blacks by whites which caused a massive demonstration that led to the creation of a movement group called Black Lives Matter. Pengaruh lokasi toko kualitas pelayanan dan keragaman produk terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen Plaza Asia Tasikmalaya: Studi pada pelanggan Plaza Asia Tasikmalaya

Perkembangan ekonomi Indonesia di sektor ritel semakin meningkat. Hal ini terjadi karena pengusaha, baik dari dalam maupun luar negeri yang terus menerus melakukan kegiatan dalam mengembangkan usahanya di Indonesia. Bisnis ritel modern dalam bentuk toko serba ada, seperti hypermarket, supermarket, dan minimarket telah menjadi pilihan utama sebagai tempat berbelanja bagi konsumen di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Lokasi Toko, Kualitas Pelayanan dan Keragaman Produk terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Konsumen. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumennya. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan konsumen/ pelanggan dari Plaza Asia Tasikmalaya yang pernah melakukan pembelian di Plaza Asia Tasikmalaya yang diambil sebanyak 100 responden dengan menggunakan metode Accidental Sampling Method (pengambilan sampel secara acak). Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji Validitas, Uji Reliabilitas, Analisis Regresi Linier Berganda, Analisis Korelasi, Pengujian Hipotesis (Uji t dan Uji f), dan Analisis Determinasi. Uji Hipotesis menggunakan taraf nyata 0,05 atau 5%. Pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan Software Statistical Produk and service solution (SPSS) 20,0 For windows. Hasil Penelitian ini secara parsial Lokasi Toko berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen dengan nilai thitung sebesar 3.065, sehingga hasil yang diperoleh thitung adalah lebih besar dari ttabel (3.065 > 1985), dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,003 1985), dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,001 1985), dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,002 Ftabel (51,497 > 3,090), dengan nilai signifikansi F sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,617 dan Sisanya 38,3% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti oleh peneliti

MEMBANGUN KESADARAN DIRI SECARA BERSAMA-SAMA UNTUK PENGENDALIAN PENYEBARAN COVID-19 PADA RUMAH IBADAH DI LINGKUNGAN KELURAHAN SERUA

Pada awal Maret tahun 2021 seluruh rumah ibadah di Indonesia dihimbau untuk sementara tidak melakukan kegiatan peribadatan dalam rangka mencegah penyebaran virus Covid-19. Kemudian pada awal bulan Juni 2021, semua rumah ibadah diijinkan untuk menyelenggarakan kegiatan ibadah dengan tetap menerapkan protokol kesehatan lebih ketat dalam rangka menghindari penyebaran Covid-19. Hal ini memicu berbagai strategi dari berbagai pihak, termasuk para Pengurus Masjid. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran bagaimana keberhasilan membangun kesadaran diri secara bersama-sama untuk pengendalian penyebaran covid-19 pada rumah ibadah di lingkungan Kelurahan Serua dalam rangka mewujudkan masyarakat aman covid-19. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan metode penelitian kombinasi atau Convergent Parallel Mixed Methods, yaitu metode penelitian yang menggabungkan antara metode kuantitatif dan metode kualitatif. Kesimpulan: Pengurus masjid di lingkungan kelurahan Serua khususnya yang berlokasi di dalam komplek perumahan, selalu konsisten dan mempunyai komitmen yang kuat untuk membangun kesadaran diri secara bersama-sama serta selalu melakukan himbauan dan pengawasan agar dapat mewujudkan masyarakat aman dari covid-19 di masa pandemi. Terbukti tidak ada laporan dari  jamaah shalat Jum’at yang terpapar covid-19

PENGUATAN KARAKTER RELIGIOUS PESERTA DIDIK MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH MELALUI TAHFIZH QURAN

Peserta didik pada usia madrasah Tsanawiyah memiliki karakter yang labil, yakni karakter yang mudah goyah oleh kondisi tempat, waktu serta teman bersosialisasi. Oleh karenanya dibutuhkan suatu model penguatan yang dapat membentuk peserta didik memiliki karakter yang kuat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menemukan model pembelajaran tahfiz Alquran yang dapat membentuk peserta didik sebagai pribadi yang memiliki karakter yang kuat. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan paradigma kontrukstivisme, yaitu sebuah paradigma yang akan memaknai realita sosial dari berbagai aspek realita yang terjadi pada objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian adalah pertama, karakter religious peserta didik jenjang MTs dapat diperkuat melalui program tahfiz, kekuatan karakter reigious tersebut dibuktikan dengan ketaatan peserta didik dalam menjalankan ibadah, memiliki semangat yang kuat dalam mengikuti peringatan hari keagamaan, kematangan keyakinan setiap melakukan sesuatu dengan berdoa terlebih dahulu. Temuan penelitian dapat dikembangkan dengan berbagai pendekatan lain, karena peneliti belum dilakukan ujicoba terhadap kesimpulan yang dijelaskan, maka para peneliti selanjutnya dapat mengembangkan data penelitian dalam bentuk eksperimen

ANALISIS PENERAPAN STANDAR AKUNTANSI KEUANGAN ENTITAS TANPA AKUNTABILITAS (SAK ETAP) PADA LAPORAN KEUANGAN KOPERASI SATUAN BRIMOB POLDA KALIMANTAN TIMUR

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the application of Financial Accounting Standards for Entities Without Accountability (SAK ETAP) in the financial statements of the East Kalimantan Police Mobile Brigade Unit Cooperative in 2019.  This research was conducted at the East Kalimantan Police Mobile Brigade Unit Cooperative, with the problem being investigated, the authors focused on the application of SAK-ETAP covering the recognition of: Assets, Debts, Revenues, Expenses, Profit/Loss; measurement : Historical Expenses and Fair Value; presentation of : Balance Sheet, Profit/Loss, Changes in Equity and Profit/Loss and Retained Earnings, Cash Flows and Notes to Financial Statements; Disclosure for the period 2019. The analytical tool in this study compares the financial statements of the East Kalimantan Police Mobile Brigade Unit Cooperative with SAK ETAP. Based on the results of the research, the financial statements of the East Kalimantan Police Mobile Brigade Unit Cooperative in 2019 are sufficient in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standards for Entities Without Accountability (SAK ETAP). However, the financial reporting data made by the East Kalimantan Police Mobile Brigade Unit Cooperative in 2018 and 2019 based on SAK ETAP is still lacking, namely the financial statements only consist of 2 components, the balance sheet element only consists of 6 items and the profit/loss element consists of 2 item

Upaya Indonesia dalam Mempromosikan Angklung sebagai Warisan Budaya Indonesia melalui House Of Angklung di Amerika Serikat (2010-2015)

This research is a study of contemporary which discussing about the efforts of Indonesia in promoting Angklung as one of Indonesan cultural heritage through House of Angklung in the United States. In November 2010, Angklung has been declared by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage. House of Angklung is an organization of Angklung lovers in the United States. This is originally an association of Sundanese citizens who lived in the United States. In April 2010, the association changed its name to House of Angklung which was not only teach Angklung but also learning about Indonesian culture and language. The result of this research shows that the effort of Indonesia in promoting Angklung as Indonesian cultural heritage through House of Angklung runs effective. Indonesia invites House of Angklung to cooperate in promoting Angklung, among others, by facilitating the training or practice ground which is located on Indonesian Embassy, lending Angklung, finding funds, giving transportation and information about humanist.Keywords: House of Angklung, Cultural Heritage, Cultural Diplomacy, UNESCO
