PENGARUH GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN DAN MOTIVASI KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN (Studi pada PT. Warna Alam Indonesia)

The research aims to examine and analyze the influence of leadership style and motivation toward performance of employee in PT Warna Alam Indonesia. Data collected through distribution of questionnaires and it is implemented to PT Warna Alam Indonesia 60 employee. Analysis of data in this research using the help of SPSS version 16. Analysis technique used is multiple regression by the least squares equations and hypothesis testing using the t-statistic for testing the partial regression coefficients with the level of significance of 5%. It also tested validity test, regression analysi, ands the classical assumptions that included normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test. Based on the results of the study found no variables that deviate from the classical assumptions, this suggests that the available data has been qualified to use the model of multiple linear regression equation. From the results showed that the variable leadership style and motivation is partially positive significantly. The predictive capability of the two variables on performance employee of 39,7%

AN ANALYSIS ON THE FOURTH SEMESTER STUDENTS’ ABILITY IN USING PRONOUN AT THE ENGLISH EDUCATION DEPARTMENT OF STKIP INSAN MADANI AIRMOLEK

The method used to conduct this research was the descriptive qualitative method. The sample of the research was the fourth-semester students of the English Education Department which consisted of 24 students. The aim of this research is to know their ability in using pronouns.  To collect the data, a written form of the test was used and it was divided into two categories (multiple choice and essay). The students were then asked to do the test of pronouns of a subject, object, adjective possessive, possessive and reflexive. The design of the test was based on the relevant literature review and the authors’ observation when the teaching and learning process about pronouns took place.  After the analysis of the data, the average score obtained from the student's test was 6.4 which belonged to the fair good category. The result of the test showed 23 students (96%) whose abilities were in the middle category, 1 student (4%) whose ability was in the low category, and 0 students (0%) whose ability was in the high category.   Even though the results make the authors surprised, the findings of the research can give some points of view for a lecturer to prepare the lesson materials better, apply various teaching techniques to get the student's attention and interest during the teaching-learning process and use various teaching aids to support the success of his teaching so that the students could have better understanding and competence in English.Keywords: Ability, Pronou

Cultural Heritage Tourism In Indonesia Potential of "Gunung Gangsir Temple" As A Tourist Attraction

The existence of human life in the past can be traced through its historical heritage. Relics in the form of human creations in the past that can be developed and utilized as a cultural heritage tourism. Pasuruan in the historical course is one area that has cultural heritage from the Hindhu Buddhist period, one of which is in the form of Gunung Gangsir Temple, a heritage from Medang Kamulan Kingdom. This approach uses a qualitative method with a historical science approach, so that historical aspects in this study remain visible. Data collection techniques in this study are the literature review, interviews and field observations. The data analysis method in the study begins with data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing which are then presented in this article. The results of this study indicate that the use of historic buildings as a tourist attraction is one part of the effort to preserve these buildings. Concrete steps to realize it are the fulfillment of the carrying capacity needed in the tourism business which includes 4A Concepts, Attraction, Amenities, Access and Ancillary. Some things that must be in place are special shelters or places to stay for tourists, a place to exchange foreign currencies, representative restaurants and adequate health facilities and form organizations specifically in the field of tourism

PERSEPSI GURU TERHADAP KINERJA KEPALA SEKOLAH DASAR KECAMATAN TAMALATE KOTA MAKASSAR

Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Makassar. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang persepsi guru terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah dasar di kecamatan tamalate kota makassar. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: bagaimanakah persepsi guru terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah dalam hal manajerial dan supervisi pada Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Tamalate Kota Makassar? Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang pelaksanaan manajerial dan supervisi kepala sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Tamalate Kota Makassar. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriktif persentase, yakni berusaha menggambarkan fakta yang diteliti dalam bentuk tabel persentase. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan guru Sekolah Dasar di Kec. Tamalate Kota Makassar sebanyak 292 orang guru dengan mengambil sampel sebanyak 70 orang guru dengan melihat karakteristik pendidikan strata. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi guru terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Tamalate Kota Makassar dari segi manajerial masuk dalam kategori sedang, dan persepsi guru terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Tamalate Kota Makassar dari segi dimensi supervisi masuk dalam kategori sedang. Sedangkan analisis data secara umum dengan tehnik persentase menunjukkan bahwa persepsi guru terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Tamalate Kota Makassar masuk dalam kategori sedang. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja kepala sekolah di sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Tamalate Kota Makassar belum berjalan maksimal atau belum sesuai dengan yang diharapkan
