Combined intraarterial/intravenous thrombolysis for acute ischemic stroke
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: The intravenous use of recombinant tissue-type plasminogen activator (rTPA) in acute ischemic stroke has been investigated in three large trials. Limited series have reflected outcome after local intraarterial thrombolysis (LIT) in the cerebral territory. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of combined intraarterial/intravenous thrombolysis using rTPA (actilyse) for acute ischemic stroke. METHODS: Forty-five patients with acute onset of severe hemispheric stroke and without signs of major cerebral infarction on early CT scans were randomized by order of admission. Twelve patients were treated with 50 mg actilyse (maximal dose, 0.7 mg/kg); three had occlusion of the internal carotid artery and nine had occlusion of the middle cerebral artery. Thrombolysis was started by LIT and continued intravenously within 6 hours of stroke onset. Outcome, assessed after 1 and 12 months according to the modified Rankin scale (MRS), was considered good (MRS score, 0-3) for patients who were functionally independent and poor (MRS score, 4-5) for those who were dependent or had died. RESULTS: In the thrombolysis group, outcome was good in eight patients at 1 month and in 10 patients at 12 months; in the control group, outcome was good in seven (21%) and 11 (33%) patients, respectively. Of the eight patients with a good outcome after thrombolysis, four had complete and one had partial recanalization. In the control group, the rate of intracerebral hemorrhage was 6%. Mortality at 1 month in the thrombolysis and control groups was 17% and 48%, respectively. CONCLUSIONS: Combined intraarterial/intravenous thrombolysis with low-dose rTPA may be a safe and effective treatment for acute ischemic stroke within 6 hours in carefully selected patients.Peer reviewe
Retardation of nanoparticles growth by doping
The process of doping of CdS nanoparticles with Mn during colloidal synthesis is analyzed by EPR and optical
studies. Analysis of EPR results demonstrated that Mn2+ ions are successfully incorporated into the nanoparticles
and occupy the crystal sites both in the bulk of a NP and near the surface of a NP. Optical absorption
measurements revealed the retardation of absorption edge shift during the growth for Mn-doped CdS NPs as
compared to the undoped CdS NPs. It was concluded that the presence of Mn in the solution leads to the
inhibition of NPs growth

ВИКОРИСТАННЯ ВІРТУАЛЬНИХ НАВЧАЛЬНИХ ПРОГРАМ ДЛЯ ВИВЧЕННЯ ЛАТИНСЬКИХ МЕДИЧНИХ ТЕРМІНІВ
The article describes the effectiveness of using a virtual program in Latin lessons, analyzes the scientific and methodological approaches to using the virtual environment for the learning Latin medical terminology by students in medical schools. The experience of using the virtual program in Latin lessons by medical students is generalized. It was noted that using the virtual programs significantly expands the capabilities of teachers, promotes individualization of training, activating the cognitive activity of students; allows the teacher to tailor the learning process to their individual peculiarities.
Today, considerable attention is paid to the informatization of the educational process in the system of higher education. Using computer technologies makes it possible to organize the information transfer process to students more efficiently, by using all possible channels. The total number of available curricula is significant. Using the virtual program takes an important place in studying. Informatization and computerization of education in the modern globalized world imply both the preparation of the teacher for the using innovative technologies and the student’s willingness to work independently, especially in the process of studying professional terminology. Virtual learning programs can be used in Professional Latin learning as a powerful source of information by means of individualizing learning, evaluating and controlling knowledge, as well as a means of animating students’ creative activity and encouraging them to study. The implementation of virtual programs greatly accelerates the process of mastering the educational material, diversifies it, makes it more interesting. Since the Latin computerized virtual program contains the necessary information from both theory and practice, it helps students to control their knowledge management methodology before the survey, as well as facilitating the assimilation of material in a group.У статті вказано на ефективність використання віртуальної програми на заняттях латинської мови, проаналізовано науково-методичні підходи до використання віртуального середовища для вивчення латинської медичної термінології студентами у вищих медичних навчальних закладах. Узагальнено досвід використання віртуальної навчальної програми на заняттях з латинської мови у студентів-медиків. Зазначено, що використання віртуальних навчальних програм значно розширює можливості викладачів, сприяє індивідуалізації навчання, активізації пізнавальної діяльності студентів; дає змогу максимально адаптувати процес навчання до їхніх індивідуальних особливостей.
Сьогодні в системі вищої освіти значна увага приділяється інформатизації навчального процесу. Використання комп’ютерних технологій дає змогу організувати процес передачі інформації студентам більш ефективно, із застосуванням усіх можливих каналів. Арсенал наявних навчальних програм досить вагомий. Чільне місце в навчанні посідає застосування віртуальних навчальних програм. Інформатизація та комп’ютеризація освіти в сучасному глобалізованому світі передбачає як підготовку викладача до використання інноваційних технологій, так і готовність студента працювати самостійно, особливо у процесі вивчення фахової термінології. Віртуальні навчальні програми можуть застосовуватися в процесі навчання латинської мови професійного медичного спрямування як потужне джерело інформації, як засіб індивідуалізації навчання, оцінювання та контролю знань, а також як засіб активізації творчої діяльності студентів та заохочення до навчання. Виконання віртуальних програм значно прискорює процес освоєння навчального матеріалу, урізноманітнює його, робить цікавішим. Оскільки комп’ютерна віртуальна програма з латинської мови містить необхідні відомості як з теорії, так і з практики, це допомагає студентам перед опитуванням проконтролювати свої знання за методикою виконання, а також полегшити засвоєння матеріалу на занятті
Problems and Prospects of Development of International Customs Cooperation in the Context of Digitalization
Modern conditions of development dictate the need for cooperation. Today, Russia participates in the common market and the common economic space, the economic sphere, the activities of customs organizations, concludes agreements on international obligations and customs cooperation, and also actively cooperates with states and organizations in the field of customs operations and customs activities. The article considers the process of international customs cooperation of the customs authorities of the Russian Federation. The development of international customs cooperation in the context of digitalization is considered. The influence of digitalization on the regulatory framework of international customs cooperation, customs diplomacy and on the organizational and protocol basis is determined. The problems arising in the conditions of digitalization in the implementation of international activities in the customs authorities of the Russian Federation with the help of digital information and technical means are presented. The interaction of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation with the customs administrations of foreign states in the conditions of digitalization is analyzed. The positive practice of using digital technologies in the interaction of the customs authorities of the Russian Federation with the customs administrations of foreign states, as well as their problematic issues, is considered. The process of negotiations and practical experience of interaction between the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China on cooperation of their customs services in the field of preliminary information exchange are analyzed. Based on the results of the study, the authors propose to further develop international customs cooperation on the example of successful projects, as well as use a digital platform to improve the quality and efficiency of international cooperation to solve emerging problematic issues

Improving the Sphere of Customs Administration in Russia Based on the Chinese Experience
The widespread use of new technologies based on digitalization has recently intensified, due to the processes associated with changes in business organization. Serious attention is paid to this direction of development by business representatives engaged in economic activities in international trade and governments of the leading economies of the world, including China and Russia. The introduction of digitalization processes in various sectors of the economy has become a conscious necessity. In order to theoretically substantiate and subsequently achieve the necessary level of development of information technologies and communications, analytical studies and testing of changes in this area are being conducted in many countries. The economy based on the introduction of digital technologies determines the vector of development of the economies of countries for the long term.Aim. Analyze the digital transformation of the Chinese economy, identify positive experience in the application of digital solutions and their impact on the simplification of customs procedures and correlate the results with Russia.Tasks. Consider technological trends in digital transformation; to study the results of the policy in carrying out the digitalization of the economy of China and Russia; to consider possible promising areas for the development of cooperation between China and Russia in the field of digital.Methods. Statistical analysis of data and synthesis of the results obtained for comparison purposes.Results. As a result of the study, the following results were obtained: a) a comparative analysis of the changes in the values of indicators on the Global Connectivity Index (GCI) of China and Russia in 2020 compared to 2015 was carried out, the reasons for the changes that occurred were substantiated; b) the dynamics of exports and imports of China, as well as data on trade turnover between China and Russia for the period from 1991 to October 2021; c) the experience of customs administration in China is considered and possible directions of its application in Russia are determined.Conclusion. The positive experience of China’s customs administration in the light of the digitalization of economic processes can be used in Russia, which can certainly improve the current situation in the field of customs administration in our country
