New analysis of semileptonic B decays in the relativistic quark model
We present the new analysis of the semileptonic B decays in the framework of
the relativistic quark model based on the quasipotential approach. Decays both
to heavy D^{(*)} and light \pi(\rho) mesons are considered. All relativistic
effects are systematically taken into account including contributions of the
negative-energy states and the wave function transformation from the rest to
moving reference frame. For heavy-to-heavy transitions the heavy quark
expansion is applied. Leading and subleading Isgur-Wise functions are
determined as the overlap integrals of initial and final meson wave functions.
For heavy-to-light transitions the explicit relativistic expressions are used
to determine the dependence of the form factors on the momentum transfer
squared. Such treatment significantly reduces theoretical uncertainties and
increases reliability of obtained predictions. All results for form factors,
partial and total decay rates agree well with recent experimental data and
unquenched lattice calculations. From this comparison we find the following
values of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix elements:
|V_{cb}|=(3.85\pm0.15\pm 0.20)*10^{-2} and
|V_{ub}|=(3.82\pm0.20\pm0.20)*10^{-3}, where the first error is experimental
and the second one is theoretical.Comment: 25 pages, 11 figure

Draws a parallel with the historical genesis of youth social movements of the Soviet Union and identifies the causes by which modern youth movements have not acquired sufficient popularity. An author’s vision of the priority tasks of modern social forms, functions and tasks of such movements and a logic capable of solving problems updating these movements among youth are proposed. It is noted that the main activities of youth organizations should be aimed at organizing content processes to ensure the life of a young man self. It is reported that the most urgent areas of mainstreaming modern youth movement is a social, professional and economic spheres. It is noted that the actual social problems of modern youth movement should be an adaptation of the young man to adult life, enabling to interiorization and socialization socially desirable norms and practices. Emphasized on the advisability of a youth movement in support of the peace as the most universal and the one that is most relevant to modern social needs
Decay of metastable current states in one-dimensional resonant tunneling devices
Current switching in a double-barrier resonant tunneling structure is studied
in the regime where the current-voltage characteristic exhibits intrinsic
bistability, so that in a certain range of bias two different steady states of
current are possible. Near the upper boundary V_{th} of the bistable region the
upper current state is metastable, and because of the shot noise it eventually
decays to the stable lower current state. We find the time of this switching
process in strip-shaped devices, with the width small compared to the length.
As the bias V is tuned away from the boundary value V_{th} of the bistable
region, the mean switching time \tau increases exponentially. We show that in
long strips \ln\tau \propto (V_{th} -V)^{5/4}, whereas in short strips \ln\tau
\propto (V_{th} -V)^{3/2}. The one-dimensional geometry of the problem enables
us to obtain analytically exact expressions for both the exponential and the
prefactor of \tau. Furthermore, we show that, depending on the parameters of
the system, the switching can be initiated either inside the strip, or at its
ends.Comment: 12 pages, 5 figures, update to published versio
Anisotropic flows from initial state of a fast nucleus
We analyze azimuthal anisotropy in heavy ion collisions related to the
reaction plane in terms of standard reggeon approach and find that it is
nonzero even when the final state interaction is switched off. This effect can
be interpreted in terms of partonic structure of colliding nuclei. We use
Feynman diagram analysis to describe details of this mechanism. Main
qualitative features of the appropriate azimuthal correlations are discussed.Comment: 16 pages, 11 figures. This paper is an extended version of a talk

Organizational bases of resort medical centers with the of quality management systems
With the introduction of a quality management system in spa health centers (sanatoria), opportunities for development and profitability are increasing. The organization of the structure of the medical center's work at the resort has its own peculiarities, which should be reflected in the routes of patients, the rules for the provision of medical care. The development of spa medical centers is reasonably feasible in the context of improving the infrastructure, taking into account the competitive advantages of the resort, introducing modern technology of treatment and marketing strategies
Chemical probing of the homopurine·homopyrimidine tract in supercoiled DNA at single-nucleotide resolution
AbstractLocal structure of the homopurine·homopyrimidine tract in a supercoiled plasmid pEJ4 was studied using chemical probes at single-nucleotide resolution. The conformation of the homopyrimidine strand was probed by osmium tetroxide, pyridine (Os,py) while that of the homopurine strand was tested by diethyl pyrocarbonate (DEPC), i.e. by probes reacting preferentially with single-stranded DNA. At weakly acidic pH values, a strong Os,py attack on three nucleotides at the centre of the (dC-dT)16 block and a weaker attack on two nucleotides at the end of the block were observed. DEPC modified adenines in the 5′-half of the homopurine strand. Os,py modification at the centre of the block corresponded to the loop of the hairpin formed by the homopyrimidine tract, while DEPC modification corresponded to the unstructured half of the homopurine strand in the model of protonated triplex H form of DNA
Two-particle decays of B_c meson into charmonium states
The factorization of hard and soft contributions into the hadronic decays of
B_c meson at large recoils is explored in order to evaluate the decay rates
into the S, P and D-wave charmonia associated with rho and pi. The constraints
of approach applicability and uncertainties of numerical estimates are
discussed. The mode with the J/psi in the final state is evaluated taking into
account the cascade radiative electromagnetic decays of excited P-wave states,
that enlarges the branching ratio by 20-25%.Comment: 13 pages, LaTeX axodraw-style, 1 figure, 2 table
Multiparticle tree amplitudes in scalar field theory
Following an argument advanced by Feynman, we consider a method for obtaining
the effective action which generates the sum of tree diagrams with external
physical particles. This technique is applied, in the unbroken \lambda \phi^4
theory, to the derivation of the threshold amplitude for the production of
scalar particles by initial particles. The leading contributions to the
tree amplitude, which become singular in the threshold limit, exhibit a
factorial growth with n.Comment: uuencoded gz-compressed file created by csh script uufile
Modern approaches to carrying out profound medical examination of servicemen of Security Service of Ukraine.
The study found that the regulatory framework for prophylactic medical examination in the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) is not fully regulated, this required the development and validation of a new organizational model to improve its efficiency. In the coursw of study proposals for the introduction of a modern model of profound medical examinations of the personnel of the SSU were prepared, their main elements are: first developed and implemented model of a motivated individual responsibility of SSU serviceman for their own health, its conservation, inclination to treatment of identified pathological conditions; development and implementation of military health passport, health passport of managers, health passport of agency, division, institution of the SSU; the definition of the various bulks of the annual medical examination of personnel, depending on age (with expansion of screening tests, depending on the age group); introduction of personal responsibility of heads (managers) of bodies (departments and agencies) of the SSU for the timely undergoing of profound medical examinations by subordinate personnel a clear definition of heads’ responsibilities of health care organs (doctors and medical staff) of the SSU in the profound medical examinations; the development and implementation of a unified system of analysis of the results of medical care facilities of SSU for carrying out of medical examination and definition of its efficiency, the introduction of optimized system for monitoring of undergoing medical examination, reporting on undergoing of profound medical examinations by personnel of agencies, departments, institutions of the SSU. This allowed not only to justify organizational model on improvement of clinical examination of the SSU personnel but to introduce it into the work of all health facilities of the SSU, to significantly optimize conducting clinical examination and improve its performance indicators
RPC with low-resistive phosphate glass electrodes as a candidate for the CBM TOF
Usage of electrodes made of glass with low bulk resistivity seems to be a
promising way to adapt the Resistive Plate Chambers (RPC) to the high-rate
environment of the upcoming CBM experiment. A pilot four-gap RPC sample with
electrodes made of phosphate glass, which has bulk resistivity in the order of
10^10 Ohm cm, has been studied with MIP beam for TOF applications. The tests
have yielded satisfactory results: the efficiency remains above 95% and the
time resolution stays within 120 ps up to the particle rate of 18 kHz/cm2. The
increase in rate from 2.25 to 18 kHz/cm2 leads to an increase of estimated
"tails" fraction in the time spectrum from 1.5% to 4%.Comment: 8 pages, 6 figures, submitted to Elsevier Scienc
