The history of creation is given, the complex of studies carried out by the Tyumen branch of Siberian Research Institute of Geology, Geophysics and Mineral Resources (SNIIGGiMS) in 1960–1964 and by West Siberian Research and Geological Prospecting Oil Institute (ZapSibNIGNI) in 1964–1996 is analyzed. The role of the Institute in the substantiation of oil and gas potential and developing the resource base of the West Siberian oil and gas province is shown. The scientific forecasts and developments of the Institute’s employees, which influenced the increase in the efficiency of geological exploration are presented. In preparing the article, previously unpublished documents from the archive of the Directorate of ZapSibNIGNI were used

Modern level of study of structure of Chayandinskoye oil and gas condensate field is characterized by implementation of 3D seismic survey, carried out using a rich azimuth seismic survey system with a fold of 240. Complex seismic and geological conditions within this part of Eastern Siberia dictate high requirements to quality of field 3D seismic operations. A geological section of an area of operations is characterized by Lower Proterozoic formations of crystalline basement and Vendian, Cambrian, Jurassic, Quaternary deposits of the sedimentary cover. The main role in structure of the sedimentary cover is played by clastic and carbonate deposits of Vendian and halogen-carbonate formations of Cambrian Period. Productive part of a section refers to Botuobinsk, Khamakin and Talakh suits and is characterized by a very complex structure of natural reservoirs. Study of productive section structure is caused by need to prepare a field for production drilling and its subsequent development. In order to reveal features of structure of productive part of a section in a region with complex seismic and geological conditions, migration is used up to the summation in the deep region. Wide-azimuth observation system is aimed to study the most important challenges of medium structure such as direction and nature of change in fracture, study of azimuthal anisotropy of velocity characteristics of section and identification of characteristics of elastic properties change. Base technologies to study anisotropy of geological section properties are adapted and introduced into seismic exploration technique. They are as follows: 1) a method based on study of geometric attributes; 2) azimuthal analysis of velocities; 3) azimuth AVO-analysis (AVAZ); 4) anisotropic inversion. Based on results of processing and complex interpretation of seismic data of MOGT-3D works at the Chayandinskoye oil and gas condensate field the most important information about geological structure of sedimentary cover deposits and productive section was obtained. That allowed to significantly clarifying concept of structure of productive formations and geological development of this area. It also allowed determining distribution of reservoirs and evaluating reserves with considered new built structural and tectonic model

Characteristics of morphotypes of Neocomian clinoform formations in the north of the West Siberian lowland in connection with the peculiarities of sedimentation processes

In the article, based on a relatively deep-water clinoform model of the Achimov strata structure based on the analysis of sedimentological processes and 3D seismic data, the characteristics of the morphological types of clinoform formations, structural features and sedimentation of the Lower Cretaceous deposits in the zone of counter clinoforms are given, a new type of hydrocarbon traps is identified within this area, their seismic images are presented. It is noted that in the zone of east-dip clinoforms (the Ural source of demolition), it is necessary to evaluate the prospects for oil and gas potential of the section based on the analysis of seismic and gravity survey and logging data, in order to predict fractured reservoirs

Theoretical and experimental study of triphenylphosphonium Schiff base of 5-hydroxy-3-methyl-1-phenyl-4-formylpyrazole

The Schiff base (HLBr), containing a chelating unit and triphenylphosphonium moiety has been synthesized in the reaction of 4-aminobenzyl(triphenyl)phosphonium bromide with 5-hydroxy-3-methyl-1-phenyl-4-formylpyrazole. The composition and structure of HLBr have been determined by elemental analysis, IR, 1D and 2D NMR, electronic spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations (6-311G(d,p) level of theory) have been carried out to investigate tautomeric forms of HL+ and the reaction mechanism of its formation and spectral properties. The most stable form in the solid state and in DMSO solution is pyrazolone (keto-amine) tautomeric form.

</p
