SISTEMA LASER SCANNER AEROTRANSPORTADO APLICADO NA DETERMINAÇÃO DE VOLUMES DE PILHAS DE MINÉRIO: ESTUDO COMPARATIVO

A tecnologia Laser Scanner revolucionou a forma de coletar e registrar informações topográficas bem como de detalhes construtivos. Sua aplicação, em função de suas características, tem se expandido às mais diversificadas áreas. Este artigo apresenta uma aplicação do sistema Laser Scanner Aerotransportado (LSA) na coleta de dados para a geração de Modelos Digitais de Terrenos (MDT), destinados à determinação de volumes de pilhas de minério estocado. A maioria das pilhas apresenta conformações físicas bastante irregulares, com pontos de difícil acesso, comprometendo assim, a segurança dos operadores responsáveis pela coleta de dados em campo, quando se utiliza técnicas diretas de levantamentos como, por exemplo, a tecnologia GPS (Global Positioning System). Foram realizadas coletas de dados em campo, utilizando as tecnologias GPS e LSA, e observados alguns parâmetros variáveis que podem influenciar nos resultados e/ou nos processos operacionais. Os resultados obtidos pelo emprego das duas tecnologias são analisados e comparados, e também relacionados aos valores advindos do processo produtivo da mina, mostrando que os levantamentos pelo LSA apresentam algumas vantagens, como um alto rendimento, um maior detalhamento nos MDT e uma maior segurança ocupacional

The intention of the Maré Museum is to break with the tradition that the experiences to be recollected and the places of memory to be remembered are those elected by the official version, the "winner" version of the story that restricts the representations of history and memory of large portions of the population. The Maré Museum, as a pioneer initiative in the city scene, proposed to expand the museological concept, so that it is not restricted to intellectual social groups and cultural spaces that are not accessible to the general population. The museum has established recognition that the slum is a place of memory and so has initiated a museographic reading of the Mare community. .

Socio-environmental indicators of Aedes aegypti breeding sites in the southern extremity of Santa Catarina state

This research analyzed the spatial distribution of Aedes aegypti breeding sites found in 2016 in the fifteen cities of the Municipalities Association of the Extreme South of Santa Catarina (AMESC). These data were compared with socioenvironmental indicators (rainfall, temperature, basic sanitation and population). All data are secondary, available by different government agencies. A total of 44 mosquitoes breeding sites were observed throughout 6 cities, and the Passos de Torres city concentrated 61% of them. This city has a frontier with Rio Grande do Sul State, an affected region, and it is crossed longitudinally by the BR-101 highway, as well as other cities with a high rate of infestation. This may indicate that BR-101 is the main means of vector dispersion.  A higher occurrence vector in the warmer seasons (summer and autumn) was observed, there was no correlation to precipitation, although it rained more in 2016 than the historical average to the study area. Despite the good coverage of the water supply, there is no data about solid waste for the cities most affected, nor about the sanitary sewage in the region. So, the unavailability of specific data on sanitation impaired a detailed analysis about this indicator. This information can be used by public managers for the definition of Aedes aegypti control guidelines, but more complementarities are needed at the local level

This paper presents a discussion about the process of cost estimation and price establishment in auditing companies which cater to various types of clients and render services by means of taylor-made projects, that is, made to order since each client company presents different characteristics of internal control and information system. Each service requires the establishment of a price taking in consideration the characteristics of the client company and its requirements. Price establishment encompasses several stages, including cost estimation. The process model of cost estimation and establishment of price, developed by Souza (1995), is the basis for the discussion presented in this paper. Key words: auditorship, stages, cost estimation, price establishment.Este trabalho apresenta uma discussão sobre o processo de estimação de custos e formação de preços nas empresas de auditoria. Elas atendem a vários tipos de clientes e realizam a prestação de serviços por meio de projetos, ou seja, sob encomenda, pois cada empresa cliente apresenta características diferentes de controle interno e sistema de informações. Cada serviço requer a formação de um preço, levando em consideração as características da empresa cliente e suas demandas. A formação do preço compreende várias etapas, incluindo a estimação de custos. A Simple and Fast Method for the Production and Characterization of Methylic and Ethylic Biodiesels from Tucum Oil via an Alkaline Route

A simple, fast, and complete route for the production of methylic and ethylic biodiesel from tucum oil is described. Aliquots of the oil obtained directly from pressed tucum (pulp and almonds) were treated with potassium methoxide or ethoxide at 40°C for 40 min. The biodiesel form was removed from the reactor and washed with 0.1 M HCl aqueous solution. A simple distillation at 100°C was carried out in order to remove water and alcohol species from the biodiesel. The oxidative stability index was obtained for the tucum oil as well as the methylic and ethylic biodiesel at 6.13, 2.90, and 2.80 h, for storage times higher than 8 days. Quality control of the original oil and of the methylic and ethylic biodiesels, such as the amount of glycerin produced during the transesterification process, was accomplished by the TLC, GC-MS, and FT-IR techniques. Influência da Vegetação nos Parâmetros Micrometeorológicos da Área Urbana em uma Cidade de Médio Porte da Amazônia

O estudo teve como objetivo avaliar a influência da vegetação no comportamento termohigrométrico em três pontos com diferentes percentuais de vegetação, na cidade de Santarém-PA. Foram medidas a temperatura e a umidade relativa do ar, simultaneamente, em três praças da cidade, durante cinco dias. Os resultados indicaram que, na comparação interpraças, a praça com o maior percentual de vegetação apresentou valores médios de temperatura do ar menores, enquanto que os valores de umidade relativa do ar foram maiores nestes ambientes. Na comparação intrapraças, os instrumentos à sombra da vegetação registraram sempre os menores valores médios da temperatura do ar e os maiores da umidade relativa do ar. Estes resultados indicam que houve influência da vegetação no comportamento da temperatura e da umidade relativa do ar
