Study of reaction pi- A --> pi+pi-pi- A at VES setup

The results on partial wave analysis of 3pi system produced at beam momentum 36.6 GeV/c on beryllium target are presented. New method of amplitude analysis is suggested -- extraction of largest eigenvalue of density matrix. Exotic wave with JPC = 1-+ in rho pi system is studied in four t' regions. No narrow object around M = 1.6 GeV is found. Reversible Nuclear-Lipid-Droplet Morphology Induced by Oleic Acid: A Link to Cellular-Lipid Metabolism

Neutral lipidsÐinvolved in many cellular processesÐare stored as lipid droplets (LD), thosemainly cytosolic (cLD) along with a small nuclear population (nLD). nLD could be involved innuclear-lipid homeostasis serving as an endonuclear buffering system that would provide orincorporate lipids and proteins involved in signalling pathways as transcription factors andas enzymes of lipid metabolism and nuclear processes. Our aim was to determine if nLDconstituted a dynamic domain. Oleic-acid (OA) added to rat hepatocytes or HepG2 cells inculture produced cellular-phenotypic LD modifications: increases in TAG, CE, C, and PLcontent and in cLD and nLD numbers and sizes. LD increments were reversed on exclusionof OA and were prevented by inhibition of acyl-CoA synthetase (with Triacsin C) and thuslipid biosynthesis. Under all conditions, nLD corresponded to a small population (2±10%) oftotal cellular LD. The anabolism triggered by OA, involving morphologic and size changeswithin the cLD and nLD populations, was reversed by a net balance of catabolism, uponeliminating OA. These catabolic processes included lipolysis and the mobilization of hydrolyzedFA from the LD to cytosolic-oxidation sites. These results would imply that nLD areactively involved in nuclear processes that include lipids. In conclusion, nLD are a dynamicnuclear domain since they are modified by OA through a reversible mechanism in combinationwith cLD; this process involves acyl-CoA-synthetase activity; ongoing TAG, CE, and PLbiosynthesis. Walnut feeding and separating machine

V diplomski nalogi je predstavljen optimiziran rotirajoči centrifugalni drobilnik orehov. Na podlagi preizkusa trenja orehov je izdelan preračun potrebne moči elektromotorja, ki služi za osnovo izbire tipa motorja in motorju pripadajočega frekvenčnega pretvornika. Za drobilnik je narejena tudi tehnična dokumentacija, s pomočjo katere lahko drobilnik izdelamo. V drugem delu naloge sta predstavljena razviti rotirajoči ločevalnik in podajalnik orehov. Prikazane so različne izvedbe ločevalnikov in podajalnikov. Razviti podajalnik je zmes diskastega podajalnika in zobniškega ločevalnika. Orehi iz zalogovnika eden za drugim padajo v pripravljene izvrtine za orehe v rotirajoči se plošči. Z nastavljanjem podložne in zgornje plošče preprečujemo rotirajoči se plošči pobiranje več kot enega oreha hkrati. Predstavljen je tudi izbor pogona. Izdelan je 3D model in dokumentacija za izdelavo podajalnika.This thesis presents optimization of rotary walnut crushing machine. Calculation of required electrical motor power is made based on results of walnut crushing tests. Calculated motor power is then used for electrical motor and frequency converter selection. Technical documentation for walnut crushing machine production is also included. The second part of the thesis presents developed rotary separator and walnut feeder. Different kinds of separators and feeders are shown. Developed machine is combination of rotary disc feeder and sprocket separator. Machine consists of container and three feeding plates. Upper and bottom plates can be moved up and down to adjust the right distance to allow feeding of walnuts one by one. Middle plate is rotating and feeding walnuts to the crushing machine. Required electrical motor power for feeder is calculated. 3D model and technical documentation for developed machine production are also made

Derecho y sociología del derecho

Un tema que abruma a todo estudiante es el que le plantea la “bolilla primera” del programa: objeto de la ciencia que estudia y relaciones de ella con disciplinas afines. Generalmente, los textos y los apuntes le ofrecen dos caminos y un atajo. El primer camino consiste en una somera enumeración de enfoques y teorías, que nada aclara ni compromete; el segundo, se engolfa en una lista minuciosa y fatigante, donde se analiza el pro y el contra de las escuelas en pugna; al atajo, en cambio, se limita a aceptar una posición como la única posible, englobando a las restantes bajo el rubro brumoso y despectivo de “teorías tradicionales”. El problema se agudiza cuando se procura deslindar las diversas ciencias sociales, ya que todas y cada una estudian la conducta social de los hombres desde diversos ángulos, ofreciendo límites poco precisos, cuando no manifiestamente sobrepuestos.Universidad Nacional de La Plat
