The topography of the field and flux inside and above the surfaces of ferromagnetic plates during their contact and contactless magnetization

Modeling and experimental studies of the spatial distributions of the field and flux inside and above the surface of ferromagnetic plates of different dimension types, which were locally magnetized by U-shaped electromagnets, were performed. It was established that the location of a magnetic inhomogeneity in the interpole zone of an electromagnet substantially affects the results of a local measurement of the coercive force using a demagnetization current. It is shown that the presence of a gap in the magnetic circuit impairs the magnetization of the interpole zone of an object to a higher degree than the magnetization of the near-pole zone. Recommendations on the concentration of the magnetic flux in the interpole zone via a decrease in the interpole distance of the electromagnet are given. Possible locations of internal-field probes that provide local measurements of the magnetic properties of a substance are determined. © 2013 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd

Customization of the Telecommunication Market Based on the Application of the Concept of Service Products

The analysis of the structure and dynamics of the main indicators of the Russian telecommunication services market shows the achievement of saturation state of this market and the exhaustion of extensive sources of growth. Given the presence of a complex of negative socioeconomic factors, the source of maintaining the market positions of telecommunication companies is the customization of the services offered. For this purpose, the concept of the service products can be applied, involving the inclusion of the additional, accompanying and derivative services into the customer service package. The prerequisites for the application of the concept of the service product in the telecommunication field are the availability of the multiattribute properties and interdependence of elements in the product of that field. On the telecommunication market we can consider three types of service products. Customization of the Russian market of telecommunication services is carried out taking into account its strong state protectionism, which is conditioned by the strategic importance and the high social significance of the telecommunication industry. Saturation of the market in the conditions of oligopoly and sophistication of consumers stimulate the telecommunication companies to include in their market offer the service products of all three types

Surface Hardening Low Alloy Structural Steel By Laser Welding

The paper studied the degree of surface hardening of various low-alloy structural steels by laser weld overlays. Laser welding carried out on the ”Scanner” and «Huffman HC-205.” Studies have been conducted microstructure and elemental composition of built-up layers and the heat-affected zones on steel substratesselected by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray microanalysis. There were also measured the microhardness and built according to the changes in the thickness microhardness themselves claddings and heat-affected zones. As a result, the optimal modes of application of the laser weld overlays on the substrate, allowing to minimize the size of the heat-affected zones and differences in microhardness values, whichreduces the likelihood of cracks and discontinuities.
