La lectura dialógica en la promoción de perfiles cognitivos, emocionales y comportamentales en primera infancia

In this article we present the results of a research with early childhood in which the incidence of dialogical reading was established in the cognitive, emotional and behavioral profiles in a group of children aged 4 to 5.  An experimental intervention was carried out in school and family contexts, where previously trained parents and teachers applied the dialogical reading techniques of Whitehurst (1988), using album books.  Parents were guided with a mobile app called FamiLectura, which was built for this research.  The study was quasi-experimental, with a pre test-post test design and a control group. The results indicated significant increases in memory and recovery domains, comprehensive and expressive language, in addition to important variations in emotional skills, such as the recognition and expression of emotions.En el presente artículo se presentan los resultados de una investigación con primera infancia en la que se estableció la incidencia de la lectura dialógica en los perfiles cognitivos, emocionales y comportamentales de un grupo de niños y niñas entre los 4 y los 5 años.  Se realizó una intervención experimental en el contexto escolar y familiar, en donde padres y maestros entrenados aplicaron las técnicas de lectura dialógica de Whitehurst (1988), utilizando libros álbum.  Los padres fueron acompañados con una app móvil llamada FamiLectura, la cual fue construida para esta investigación.  El estudio fue cuasiexperimental, con un diseño de preprueba-posprueba y grupo control.  Los resultados indicaron incrementos significativos en los dominios de memoria y recuperación, lenguaje comprensivo y expresivo.  Además de variaciones importantes en las competencias emocionales, como el reconocimiento y expresión de emociones. 

Miradas colectivas departamento del Caquetá muncipio de Florencia

Bajo la opción de trabajo de grado del Diplomado en Desarrollo Humano y Familia, se despliega este trabajo. Enmarcándose en el Departamento del Caquetá municipio de Florencia, donde sus autores sitúan algunas comunidades con diversas problemáticas sociales, con el objetivo de plantear una propuesta de acompañamiento, con el fin de aminorar, orientar, fomentar conocimiento, concienciar etc., aquello que aqueja a las comunidades elegidas. Esto se realizó a través de herramientas de recolección de información, como la entrevista, árbol de problemas, técnica de observación, diario de campo y registro fotográfico. En base a los datos recolectados se identifican y se prioriza las problemáticas de las comunidades, en este sentido se plantea la propuesta de acompañamiento, con diferentes alternativas, actividades y estrategias como posibles soluciones a las problemáticas de los contextos de las familias y grupos sociales, por consiguiente ser gestores de cambios en pro de su continuo desarrollo humano.Under the option of degree work of the Diploma in Human Development and Family, this work is deployed. Estrategia organizacional enfocada en la comunicación asertiva para optimizar las relaciones laborales entre directivos y trabajadores de la empresa VIVA 1A IPS, sede Bogotá

La investigación da cuenta de la pertinencia de la comunicación asertiva en las relacionales laborales de las empresas, particularmente entre directivos y trabajadores. Para tal fin, y por medio de un enfoque mixto, recurriendo a encuestas y entrevistas, se describe el entorno laboral de la IPS VIVA 1A, sede principal Bogotá. De esta forma se identifican las categorías relacionadas con la comunicación asertiva, a saber: capacidad de escucha, señales vocales, postura corporal y claridad. La investigación reconoce que la comunicación asertiva se da en buena medida más allá de la interacción verbal y en medio de roles de autoridad y subalternidad; para lo cual se requiere que en el enfoque organizacional se priorice unas sanas y asertivas relaciones laborales. Finalmente se presenta una propuesta de intervención para la empresa.He research shows the relevance of assertive communication in the labor relations of companies, particularly between managers and workers. To this end, and through a mixed approach, using surveys and interviews, the work environment of IPS VIVA 1A, Bogotá headquarters is described. In this way, the categories related to assertive communication are identified, namely: listening skills, vocal signals, body posture and clarity. The research recognizes that assertive communication occurs to a large extent beyond verbal interaction and in the midst of roles of authority and subordination; for which it is required that healthy and assertive labor relations be prioritized in the organizational approach. Finally, an intervention proposal for the company is presented

Measurement of the cosmic ray spectrum above 4×10184{\times}10^{18} eV using inclined events detected with the Pierre Auger Observatory

A measurement of the cosmic-ray spectrum for energies exceeding $4{\times}10^{18}$ eV is presented, which is based on the analysis of showers with zenith angles greater than $60^{\circ}$ detected with the Pierre Auger Observatory between 1 January 2004 and 31 December 2013. The measured spectrum confirms a flux suppression at the highest energies. Above $5.3{\times}10^{18}$ eV, the "ankle", the flux can be described by a power law $E^{-\gamma}$ with index $\gamma=2.70 \pm 0.02 \,\text{(stat)} \pm 0.1\,\text{(sys)}$ followed by a smooth suppression region. For the energy ($E_\text{s}$) at which the spectral flux has fallen to one-half of its extrapolated value in the absence of suppression, we find $E_\text{s}=(5.12\pm0.25\,\text{(stat)}^{+1.0}_{-1.2}\,\text{(sys)}){\times}10^{19}$ eV.Comment: Replaced with published version. Energy Estimation of Cosmic Rays with the Engineering Radio Array of the Pierre Auger Observatory

The Auger Engineering Radio Array (AERA) is part of the Pierre Auger Observatory and is used to detect the radio emission of cosmic-ray air showers. These observations are compared to the data of the surface detector stations of the Observatory, which provide well-calibrated information on the cosmic-ray energies and arrival directions. The response of the radio stations in the 30 to 80 MHz regime has been thoroughly calibrated to enable the reconstruction of the incoming electric field. For the latter, the energy deposit per area is determined from the radio pulses at each observer position and is interpolated using a two-dimensional function that takes into account signal asymmetries due to interference between the geomagnetic and charge-excess emission components. The spatial integral over the signal distribution gives a direct measurement of the energy transferred from the primary cosmic ray into radio emission in the AERA frequency range. We measure 15.8 MeV of radiation energy for a 1 EeV air shower arriving perpendicularly to the geomagnetic field. This radiation energy -- corrected for geometrical effects -- is used as a cosmic-ray energy estimator. Performing an absolute energy calibration against the surface-detector information, we observe that this radio-energy estimator scales quadratically with the cosmic-ray energy as expected for coherent emission. We find an energy resolution of the radio reconstruction of 22% for the data set and 17% for a high-quality subset containing only events with at least five radio stations with signal.Comment: Replaced with published version. Measurement of the Radiation Energy in the Radio Signal of Extensive Air Showers as a Universal Estimator of Cosmic-Ray Energy

We measure the energy emitted by extensive air showers in the form of radio emission in the frequency range from 30 to 80 MHz. Exploiting the accurate energy scale of the Pierre Auger Observatory, we obtain a radiation energy of 15.8 \pm 0.7 (stat) \pm 6.7 (sys) MeV for cosmic rays with an energy of 1 EeV arriving perpendicularly to a geomagnetic field of 0.24 G, scaling quadratically with the cosmic-ray energy. A comparison with predictions from state-of-the-art first-principle calculations shows agreement with our measurement. The radiation energy provides direct access to the calorimetric energy in the electromagnetic cascade of extensive air showers. Comparison with our result thus allows the direct calibration of any cosmic-ray radio detector against the well-established energy scale of the Pierre Auger Observatory.Comment: Replaced with published version.
