The research has been developed with the objective to provide an analysis of the values education strategies used by teachers in public high schools at Monclova, Coahuila, México; to promote formation of values in their students. Participants were a total of 131 teachers of both sexes chosen randomly from seven different public high schools, with ages ranging between 21 and 65 years. Through field research and descriptive documentary, it was found that the strategies used by teachers are: selfregulation of behavior and values clarification. To conclude, any attempt to values education will only succeed if it does occur under certain conditions as an open dialogue climate, an appropriate methodology and most importantly, the teacher must estimate values, feel them, practice them, and have the desire above all of transmitting them

The current project is aimed at the structural rehabilitation of the powerhouse of the mini hydroelectric power station, in addition to the design proposal for a crane bridge that allows maintenance equipment to be maintained. Once the visit to the project site has been made, the displacement of the structure, mainly of the roof, is evident. Subsequently, the existing structure was surveyed using the manual tool, in order to obtain the necessary data to carry out this project, since there is no record of information by the parish government about the house of machines of the mini hydroelectric power station. Once the implantation of the structure is obtained, a procedure is carried out to carry out the evaluation of the elements of the structure, mainly the roof, to give an initial diagnosis of the structure in terms of knowing whether the elements are difficult with the resistance requirements stipulated in current regulations. The structural analysis was the next step to be able to determine all the loads acting on the proposed structure and together with the lifting obtained from the existing structure to perform modeling using the SAP2000 computational tool. Before carrying out the design of the elements that make up the structure, verify that the proposed model complies with the earthquake resistant requirements in accordance with the Ecuadorian Construction Standard in order to protocols the correct operation of the proposed structure. Finally, type designs of base plates, connections and foundations, in addition to structural planes were used to later be able to carry out the valued schedule and the project's reference budget

La rearmonización negativa en el arreglo musical

    Get PDF

Loxodromic elements in big mapping class groups via the Hooper-Thurston-Veech construction

Let SS be an infinite-type surface and p∈Sp\in S. We show that the Thurston-Veech construction for pseudo-Anosov elements, adapted for infinite-type surfaces, produces infinitely many loxodromic elements for the action of Mod(S;p)Mod(S;p) on the loop graph L(S;p)L(S;p) that do not leave any finite-type subsurface S′⊂SS'\subset S invariant. Moreover, in the language of Bavard-Walker, Thurston-Veech's construction produces loxodromic elements of any weight. As a consequence of Bavard and Walker's work, any subgroup of Mod(S;p)Mod(S;p) containing two "Thurston-Veech loxodromics" of different weight has an infinite-dimensional space of non-trivial quasimorphisms.Comment: 30 pages, 17 Figure

This research is about to identify the factor that influence the development of oral communication in students from the third-year afternoon shift, at the Miguel de Cervantes High School during the first semester of 2017. The population collect data was 36 students but, of 9th grade gender was 50% female and 50% male the instrument that we use to collect information was teacher interview student’s survey and observation class, we observed the English class four times in two weeks and we confirmed in the interviews conducted by the teacher and the surveys apply to the students. The importance of this research is to describe the different communication strategies that students use in the classroom to improve their oral skills and analyze the way how the teacher uses the didactic material to improve oral communication also, to identify the factors that influence participant’s involvement in oral activities inside the classroom. After we applied teacher interview he said to practice in the classroom to achieve the oral communication in the students, he uses such as: videos, tape recordings, role plays and help the students to feel motivated through introducing new strategies that they can uses in real situation because the teacher does not have the purpose didactic material according the teacher interview, he said that the MINED not give the purpose material, what he has to do is adequate according the of students needs, sometimes he has to look search in the website to download sources to apply in the classroom .The lack of interest of students do not help much the development, also the time is not enough to cover all the activities so, not all of them can participate in the oral activities beside that some of students are shy, they are afraid to make mistakes in front of the classmates

Greenhouse Gases Production from Some Crops Growing Under Greenhouse Conditions

    Get PDF
Greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrous oxide (N2O) and methane (CH4), play an important role in global climate change. For example, CO2 production occurs as a result of the seasonal cycles of the biotic processes of photosynthesis and respiration, as well as through anthropogenic activities and abiotic processes such as the burning of fossil fuels. Many activities, such as Agribusiness (the production of crops and animals for food) create greenhouse gases. Our research group has studied several soil treatments such as wastewater, wastewater sludge, vermicomposting, and urea among others, in order to study the effects of soil treatments on the production of greenhouse gases (CO2, N2O, and CH4) in several cultivars, but mainly in maize, sunflower and the common bean. The principal aim of this chapter is to show how these greenhouse gases are affected by the type of treatment, the properties of the soil, and the cultivar in question. We also look at which processes are involved in the production of CO2, N2O, and CH4 from cultivated soil. We present a review of several experiments carried out under in vitro or greenhouse conditions
