Práce se zabývá vytvořením a implementací systému helpdesk s diagnostikou (zpětnou odezvou) pro firmu The Best Network Solution, zabývající se IT outsourcingem, sloužící ke správě jejich počítačových sítí, zařízení a podporu koncových zákazníků.The thesis is dealing with creating and implementation of helpdesk system with diagnostics (feedback) for The Best Network Solution, the IT outsourcing company, serving for maintenance theirs computer networks, equipment and end customers support.

3D Scene Composition with Open-Source Tools

Práce se zabývá vytvořením komplexní 3D scény pomocí open-source nástrojů. Je zde popsán postup vytváření 3D modelů, úprav scény a následný převod do renderovacího programu PovRay, kde je za pomoci úpravy kódu a přidáním vlastností vytvořen výsledný obraz. Cílem je vyrenderovaná scéna metodou Ray-tracing.The work deals with the creation of complex 3D scenes using open-source tools. It describes how to create 3D models, adjustments to the scene and subsequent transfer to renderer program PovRay, where with the help of regulation code and adding features created by the resulting image. The aim is to render scene with Ray-tracing method.

Analysis of selected bank stocks in the US and Canadian markets

Cílem této diplomové práce je fundamentální analýza čtyř bankovních akcií JP Morgan, Bank of America, Royal Bank of Canada a Toronto Dominium Bank. Na jejím základě je odvozeno investiční doporučení. Fundamentální analýza je rozdělena na tři části – globální, odvětvová a firemní. V globální fundamentální analýze se zabývám makroekonomickou situací a vývojem základních makroekonomických ukazatelů v USA a Kanadě. V odvětvové analýze zkoumám charakteristiky bankovnictví USA a Kanady a vývoj základních odvětvových ukazatelů. Ve třetí části využiji několik ohodnocováních modelů k výpočtu vnitřní hodnoty akcií a porovnám ji s tržní cenou.The purpose of this thesis is a fundamental analysis of four bank stocks JP Morgan, Bank of America, Royal Bank of Canada and Toronto Dominion Bank. Based on the conducted analysis, an investment recommendation is formulated. The fundamental analysis is divided into three parts - global, sector and firm. In the global fundamental analysis, I examine the macroeconomic situation and the evolution of key macroeconomic indicators in the US and Canada. In the sectoral analysis, I examine the characteristics of the U.S. and Canadian banking industry and the evolution of basic sectoral indicators. In the third section, I use several valuation models to calculate the intrinsic value of the stock and compare it to the market price

Valuation of PepsiCo stock

Cílem této bakalářské práce je provedení fundamentální analýzy akcie společnosti PepsiCo. Na základě provedené analýzy je formulováno investiční doporučení. Práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá globální fundamentální analýzou, která studuje vliv makroekonomických faktorů na akciový trh. Druhá kapitola analyzuje podnikové odvětví a jeho dopady na ceny akcií. Třetí kapitola je zaměřena na kalkulaci vnitřní hodnoty akcie pomocí několika oceňovacích modelů.The purpose of this thesis is to conduct fundamental analysis of PepsiCo stock. Based on the conducted analysis, an investment recommendation is formulated. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with global fundamental analysis, which studies the influence the macroeconomics factors have on the stock market. The second chapter analyses the company's industry and it's impact on stock prices. The focus of the third chapter is the calculation of the intristic value of the stock through several valuation models

To ventilate or not to ventilate during bystander CPR — A EuReCa TWO analysis

Background: Survival after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) is still low. For every minute without resuscitation the likelihood of survival decreases. One critical step is initiation of immediate, high quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The aim of this subgroup analysis of data collected for the European Registry of Cardiac Arrest Study number 2 (EuReCa TWO) was to investigate the association between OHCA survival and two types of bystander CPR namely: chest compression only CPR (CConly) and CPR with chest compressions and ventilations (FullCPR). Method: In this subgroup analysis of EuReCa TWO, all patients who received bystander CPR were included. Outcomes were return of spontaneous circulation and survival to 30-days or hospital discharge. A multilevel binary logistic regression analysis with survival as the dependent variable was performed. Results: A total of 5884 patients were included in the analysis, varying between countries from 21 to 1444. Survival was 320 (8%) in the CConly group and 174 (13%) in the FullCPR group. After adjustment for age, sex, location, rhythm, cause, time to scene, witnessed collapse and country, patients who received FullCPR had a significantly higher survival rate when compared to those who received CConly (adjusted odds ration 1.46, 95% confidence interval 1.17–1.83). Conclusion: In this analysis, FullCPR was associated with higher survival compared to CConly. Guidelines should continue to emphasise the importance of compressions and ventilations during resuscitation for patients who suffer OHCA and CPR courses should continue to teach both
