K*-couplings for the antidecuplet excitation
We estimate the coupling of the K* vector meson to the N-->Theta+ transition
employing unitary symmetry, vector meson dominance, and results from the GRAAL
Collaboration for eta photoproduction off the neutron. Our small numerical
value for the coupling constant is consistent with the non-observation of the
Theta+ in recent CLAS searches for its photoproduction. We also estimate the
K*-coupling for the N-->Sigma* excitation, with Sigma* being the Sigma-like

Extraction of radiative decay width for the non-strange partner of Theta^+
Using the results of the GRAAL collaboration on the \eta photoproduction from
the neutron target, we attempt to extract the partial radiative width of the
possible new nucleon resonance N^*(1675). The obtained estimates support this
resonance to be a very attractive candidate for the non-strange member of the
exotic antidecuplet of baryons -- a partner of the \Theta^+ pentaquark. Our
phenomenological value for the transition magnetic moment \mu(n^* n), appears
to be in good agreement with predictions of the Chiral Quark Soliton Model.Comment: 4 pages, v2 corresponds to the journal publicatio
Formation of singularities on the surface of a liquid metal in a strong electric field
The nonlinear dynamics of the free surface of an ideal conducting liquid in a
strong external electric field is studied. It is establish that the equations
of motion for such a liquid can be solved in the approximation in which the
surface deviates from a plane by small angles. This makes it possible to show
that on an initially smooth surface for almost any initial conditions points
with an infinite curvature corresponding to branch points of the root type can
form in a finite time.Comment: 14 page

POLITICAL MEDIA MEMES’ PERSUASION AND FUNCTIONING IN SOCIAL MEDIA
The purpose of the article is to analyze the political media memes’ functioning, their effects and persuasion, to classify them and to describe their structure. In this study finding authors describe the actual persuasion of media memes in contemporary Russian society. Media memes have got a clear structure via they could spread in social media. This structure also allows to classify media memes for better understanding their functioning and general message, authors rank political media memes illustrating the ones of recent US presidential elections. These units’ successful using as a format of media effect and their replication in media can depend on our ways of persuasion, on neurological and psychological basis of information virality. In a nutshell, political media memes couldn’t be considered as humor units only, but also as a format of media impact, an effective tool of media discourse, propaganda and political agitation during election season
Present status of the nonstrange and other flavor partners of the exotic Theta+ baryon
Given the existing empirical information about the exotic Theta+ baryon, we
analyze possible properties of its SU(3)F-partners, paying special attention to
the nonstrange member of the antidecuplet N*. The modified piN partial-wave
analysis presents two candidate masses, 1680 MeV and 1730 MeV. In both cases,
the N* should be rather narrow and highly inelastic. Our results suggest
several directions for experimental studies that may clarify properties of the
antidecuplet baryons, and structure of their mixing with other baryons. Recent
experimental evidence from the GRAAL and STAR Collaborations could be
interpreted as observations of a candidate for the Theta+ nonstrange partner.Comment: 4 pages, 1 figure, talk given at the Topical Group on Hadron Physics

Fabrication of superhydrophobic and superoleophilic teflon surfaces using irradiation by nanosecond infrared laser
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE, teflon) possesses excellent stability and low surface energy, which enables its extensive use in the manufacture of biomimetic superhydrophobic surfaces. We proposed a simple and fast method for producing superhydrophobic surfaces by treating the teflon plate by nanosecond pulse infrared irradiation by means of CO2 laser. The surface relief was visualized by scanning electron microscope. The surface wettability was estimated by measuring the contact angle. The treated teflon superhydrophobic surfaces with static contact angle up to 154°demonstrated self-cleaning properties. The creation of regular two-dimensional structures leading to super-adhesive property of the teflon surface was shown. Dynamics of the Free Surface of a Conducting Liquid in a Near-Critical Electric Field
Near-critical behavior of the free surface of an ideally conducting liquid in
an external electric field is considered. Based on an analysis of three-wave
processes using the method of integral estimations, sufficient criteria for
hard instability of a planar surface are formulated. It is shown that the
higher-order nonlinearities do not saturate the instability, for which reason
the growth of disturbances has an explosive character.Comment: 19 page
