The problem of detecting objects on a sequence of images with a complex structure is considered. Optimal and quasi-optimal algorithms for processing multidimensional images have been synthesized and investigated. Improved detection efficiency has been obtained by adequately describing real data using doubly stochastic random fields. The possibility of describing Earth remote sensing data using doubly stochastic models is investigated. The possibility of obtaining significant gains when filtering satellite material and detecting extended objects on it due to the adaptive structure of such models and processing time sequence of multizone images as a single multidimensional dataset is shown. The gains for filtering algorithms in the error variance are about 80% comparing single frame processing, and the gains for detecting algorithms in the signal/noise ratio are about 70% comparing single frame processing

This work considers the algorithm of recovering lost areas on satellite images. It is proposed to use a model with variable parameters because such models can describe real images more adequately. Algorithms based on different models and "start-end" points choice are compared. It is shown that the complex structure models provide more accurate recovery in comparison with the models having constant parameters. It was supposed the simplified algorithm of parameters pseudogradient estimating in doubly stochastic models.

A mathematical model of shunting collision of a tank car is offered, taking into account the possibility of installing automatic couplers with absorbing devices of various types, fluctuations of transported liquid cargo in tank shell at incomplete filling and the likelihood of hydraulic impact. Calculations resulted in proposed choice of rational parameters and of a shape of tank shell bottom which allow increasing carrying load and volume of the tank shell. Scientifically sound limits for impact speed were determined for certain types of shunting operations with tanks to ensure safe working conditions, minimization of environmental risks.

The effect of the enthalpy and entropy factors, Gibbs energy and also electronic  structure of Ni, Ti, V on the electrocatalytic activity of the triple dispersed Ni-Ti-V alloys is shown. It is established, that the presence of the maximum of the electro-catalytic activity of Ni-Ti-V alloys at the variation of the contents of V is caused by opposite action of the enthalpy, entropy and electronic factors

Papillomavirus infection (HPV infection) is the leading sexually transmitted infection in prevalence. HPV infection and associated diseases, including cancer, remain one of the global problems of our time. This literature review presents relevant data from foreign studies and domestic works on the state of HPV vaccination in the world, the modern vaccines efficacy for the HPV-associated diseases prevention, current vaccination strategies and their efficacy as well. The aim of the article is to determine the advantages of using gender-neutral vaccination strategy over priority-used vaccination strategy for girls only in the prevention of HPV-associated diseases, including cancer, as well as for eradicating HPV infection in general.

PEGylated Liposomes Remotely Loaded with the Combination of Doxorubicin, Quinine, and Indocyanine Green Enable Successful Treatment of Multidrug-Resistant Tumors

Multidrug resistance (MDR) of cancer cells remains a major obstacle to favorable outcomes of treatment with many drugs, including doxorubicin. Most of the clinical trials failed to demonstrate the benefit of the drug efflux transporter P-glycoprotein (P-gp) inhibitors to circumvent P-gp-mediated drug resistance in vivo. The present study explored the therapeutic potential of combined treatment with liposomal doxorubicin, P-gp inhibitor quinine, and the photodynamic therapy (PDT) using indocyanine green (ICG) in the adenocarcinoma drug-resistant tumor model. Liposomes were actively co-remotely loaded with doxorubicin and quinine, and ICG was passively adsorbed. The liposomes were characterized by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and cryogenic transmission microscopy (Cryo-TEM). We found that quinine impaired the crystalline structure of doxorubicin. In vitro, treatment with single agents themselves was insufficient to inhibit the growth of HT-29 MDR1 cells. However, pegylated liposomal doxorubicin and quinine (PLDQ) significantly diminished HT-29 MDR1 cell survival. Furthermore, survival inhibition intensified by the addition of ICG to the PLDQ (ICG + PLDQ). In vivo, ICG + PLDQ significantly decreased tumor growth when combined with tumor irradiation with NIR light (** p < 0.01). ICG + PLDQ + irradiation was superior to single treatments or combinational treatments without irradiation. These findings suggest that ICG + PLDQ can overcome P-gp-mediated MDR in cancer cells
