Bremsstrahlung in intermediate-energy nucleon reactions within an effective one-beson exchange model

Within a covariant effective one-boson exchange model for the T matrix of NN interactions we present detailed calculations of bremsstrahlung cross sections for proton - proton and proton - neutron reactions at beam energies in the 1 GeV region. Besides pure bremsstrahlung processes we consider photons from ∆ decays and contributions from the η → γγ process. At beam energies above 700 MeV the ∆ decay channel dominates the spectra at large photon energies, where the interference between non-resonance processes and the ∆ decay channel becomes also important. Low energy photons stem from pure bremsstrahlung processes. The available experimental data at 730 MeV beam energy is well described. We extrapolate the model down to 280 MeV, where more detailed experimental data exist, and find agreement with angular distributions

Ontologia do nanoworld: abordagem do sistema e o conceito de evolucionismo

The article deals with the ontological subsystem of the philosophical foundations of the corresponding picture of the world, defining the typical understanding of the world as a unity in a variety of properties and relations typical of a particular historical period on the basis of appropriate philosophical interpretation of such categories as matter, motion, space and time, necessary and accidental, possible and real, and other categories, attracted from the classical philosophical heritage and non-classical philosophical teachings. The author points out an important event in the development of the system approach was the publication by Immanuel Kant in 1755 of the work "Universal Natural History and Theory of the Sky." The article describes the fundamental achievement which is the development of the so-called "physics of arising" that reads to express the principle ("From the existing to the emerging) in such a way: the evolutionary paradigm is expanded and elevated to the rank of the basis of all the processes entering according to the second law of thermodynamics. It is established modern holism synthesizes evolutionism, brought to the idea of self-development, with a systemic approach, in which ”zone of responsibility” not only isolated but open complex systems fall into. It is stated the support of nanotechnology and the NBIС tetrahedron as a whole, that is, the NBIC-initiative, is also a complex of self-organizing and self-developing system.El artículo trata del subsistema ontológico de los fundamentos filosóficos de la imagen correspondiente del mundo, definiendo la comprensión típica del mundo como una unidad en una variedad de propiedades y relaciones típicas de un período histórico particular sobre la base de la interpretación filosófica apropiada de categorías tales como la materia, el movimiento, el espacio y el tiempo, necesario y accidental, posible y real, y otras categorías, atraídos por el patrimonio filosófico clásico y las enseñanzas filosóficas no clásicas. The heat and mass transfer modeling with time delay

Nonlinear hyperbolic reaction-diffusion equations with a delay in time are investigated. All equations considered here contain one arbitrary function. Exact solutions are also presented for more complex nonlinear equations in which delay arbitrarily depends on time. Exact solutions with a generalized separation of variables are found. For special cases, new exact solutions in the form of a traveling waves are obtained, some of which can be represented in terms of elementary functions. All of these solutions contain free (arbitrary) parameters, so that one can use them to solve modeling problems of heat and mass transfer with relaxation phenomena

Results and perspectives on policing as part of the national security sector

The police are one of the actors involved in ensuring national security. Therefore, the relevance of this article stems from the need to ensure effective performance. The issue of studying the experience of countries in this field is relevant to find the best models to assess the activities of these structures, which will contribute to a better performance of tasks assigned to them by law - this is one of the tools to assess the performance of the police. The aim of the article was to investigate the peculiarities of police performance assessment, thereby identifying practices that can improve the assessment of police performance. The objective was achieved by using dogmatic, statistical, comparative legal methods and a system-structural approach. The authors revealed the peculiarities of police assessment in Ukraine, the USA, Canada, France and the UK. The focus is on the assessment of police performance based on the level of citizens' trust and statistical data. The conclusion is made that citizens' trust in the police is necessary for the effective performance of its tasks. It is noted that the use of statistics to draw an objective conclusion about police performance is questionable because of the ability of police management to manipulate the data. It is concluded that each of these areas needs significant improvement. The findings are complementary to previous studies and have implications for improving the assessment of Ukrainian police performance and police performance in foreign countries

Structure of MnO nanoparticles embedded into channel-type matrices

X-ray diffraction experiments were performed on MnO confined in mesoporous silica SBA-15 and MCM-41 matrices with different channel diameters. The measured patterns were analyzed by profile analysis and compared to numerical simulations of the diffraction from confined nanoparticles. From the lineshape and the specific shift of the diffraction reflections it was shown that the embedded objects form ribbon-like structures in the SBA-15 matrices with channels diameters of 47-87 {\AA}, and nanowire-like structures in the MCM-41 matrices with channels diameters of 24-35 {\AA}. In the latter case the confined nanoparticles appear to be narrower than the channel diameters. Дослідження напрямків мінімізації витрат на лікування сезонної алергії в Україні

Seasonal allergy is a common pathology throughout the world and is the leading one in the structure of human diseases in terms of socioeconomic losses. The Pharmacist’s protocol for dispensing over-the-counter (OTC) drugs in Ukraine recommends the use of the II generation histamine H1 receptor blockers for the treatment of this pathology.Aim. To rationalize the choice of blockers of H1-histamine receptors of the second generation for the treatment of seasonal allergies based on the cost minimization analysis.Materials and methods. The research materials were the Pharmacist’s protocol for dispensing over-the-counter medicines; data of the State Register of Medicines of Ukraine as of January 2020; the Register of wholesale prices for medicines as of January 15, 2020; wholesale prices for medicines of the national distributor of the pharmaceutical market BaDM LLC dated 03.20.2020 according to the weekly “Apteka”. The following research methods were used: descriptive analysis, frequency analysis, marketing analysis, pharmaco-epidemiological analysis – ATC/DDD-methodology, cost minimization analysis, NNT-coefficient calculation.Results and discussion. It was found that at the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine at the beginning of 2020, 10 drugs of blockers of the second generation H1-histamine receptors according to INN and 92 by the trade names (TN) were presented; of them foreign drugs were 76.36 %, domestic ones – 23.64 %. According to the ATC/DDD methodology, significant fluctuations from 0.72 UAH up to 49.57 UAH were revealed in the cost of DDDs among the generics of the drugs studied. The cost minimization analysis for the drugs studied showed that the NNT coefficient for desloratadine was 3.99; levocetirizine – 3.58; loratadine – 2.69; fexofenadine – 1.10; fenspiride – 1.53; chifenadine – 2.59; cetirizine – 1.49.Conclusions. The study conducted has shown that the savings for the treatment of seasonal allergies can range from 3100 UAH up to 304200 UAH when choosing the cheapest generic blockers of H1-histamine receptors of the II generation.Сезонная аллергия является распространенной патологией во всем мире и ведущей в структуре болезней человека по социально-экономическим убыткам. Протокол провизора (фармацевта) при отпуске безрецептурных лекарственных средств (ЛС) в Украине рекомендует использование блокаторов Н1-гистаминовых рецепторов II поколения для лечения данной патологии.Целью исследования была рационализация выбора блокаторов Н1-гистаминовых рецепторов ІІ поколения для лечения сезонной аллергии на основе анализа минимизации затрат.Материалы и методы. Материалы исследования: Протокол провизора при отпуске безрецептурных лекарственных средств; данные Государственного реестра лекарственных средств Украины по состоянию на январь 2020 г.; Реестр оптово-отпускных цен на лекарственные средства по состоянию на 15.01.2020 года; оптовые цены на лекарственные средства национального дистрибьютора фармацевтического рынка ООО «БаДМ» от 20.03.2020 г. по данным еженедельника «Аптека». Методы исследования: описательный анализ, частотный анализ, маркетинговый анализ, фармако-эпидемиологический анализ – АТС/DDD-методология, анализ минимизации затрат, расчет NNT-коэффициента.Результаты и их обсуждение. Установлено, что на фармацевтическом рынке Украины в начале 2020 года представлены 10 ЛС блокаторов Н1-гистаминовых рецепторов ІІ поколения по МНН и 92 – по торговым названиям (ТН), из них препараты иностранного производства составляют 76,36 %, отечественного – 23,64 %. По ATC/DDD-методологии выявлены значительные колебания стоимости DDDs среди генериков исследуемых ЛС от 0,72 грн до 49,57 грн. Анализ минимизации затрат для исследуемых ЛС показал, что NNT-коэффициент для дезлоратадина составляет 3,99; левоцетиризина – 3,58, лоратадина – 2,69; фексофенадина – 1,10; фенспирида – 1,53; хифенадина – 2,59; цетиризина – 1,49.Выводы. Проведенное исследование показало, что экономия средств для лечения сезонной аллергии может колебаться от 3100 грн до 304200 грн при выборе более дешевых генериков блокаторов Н1-гистаминовых рецепторов II поколения.Сезонна алергія є поширеною патологією в усьому світі та провідною в структурі хвороб людини за соціально-економічними збитками. Протокол провізора (фармацевта) при відпуску безрецептурних лікарських засобів (ЛЗ) в Україні рекомендує використання блокаторів Н1-гістамінових рецепторів II покоління для лікування даної патології.Метою дослідження була раціоналізація вибору блокаторів Н1-гістамінових рецепторів ІІ покоління для лікування сезонної алергії на основі аналізу мінімізації витрат.Матеріали та методи.
