Parton Branching in Color Mutation Model
The soft production problem in hadronic collisions as described in the
eikonal color mutation branching model is improved in the way that the initial
parton distribution is treated. Furry branching of the partons is considered as
a means of describing the nonperturbative process of parton reproduction in
soft interaction. The values of all the moments, and , for q=2,...,5,
as well as their energy dependences can be correctly determined by the use of

The soft and the hard pomerons in hadron elastic scattering at small t
We consider simple-pole descriptions of soft elastic scattering for pp, pbar
p, pi+ p, pi- p, K+ p and K- p. We work at t and s small enough for
rescatterings to be neglected, and allow for the presence of a hard pomeron.
After building and discussing an exhaustive dataset, we show that simple poles
provide an excellent description of the data in the region - 0.5 GeV^2 < t <
-0.1 GeV^2, 6 GeV<sqrt(s)< 63 GeV. We show that new form factors have to be
used, and get information on the trajectories of the soft and hard pomerons.Comment: 27 pages, 9 figures, LaTeX. A few typos fixed, and references

Charged rho meson production in neutrino-induced reactions at E_nu = 10 GeV
The neutrinoproduction of charged mesons on nuclei and nucleons is
investigated for the first time at moderate energies ( 10
GeV), using the date obtained with SKAT bubble chamber. No strong nuclear
effects are observed in and production. The fractions of
charged and neutral pions originating from decays are obtained and
compared with higher energy data. From analysis of the obtained and available
data on and (892) neutrinoproduction, the strangeness
suppression factor in the quark string fragmentation is extracted: . Estimations are obtained for cross sections of quasiexclusive
single and coherent neutrinoproduction on nuclei. The
estimated coherent cross section = (0.29 cm is compatible with theoretical predictions.Comment: 7 pages, 6 figure

correlations in like-charge and in channels should be

Synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles Using Curcumin-Cyclodextrins Loaded into Bacterial Cellulose-Based Hydrogels for Wound Dressing Applications.
Chronic wounds are often recalcitrant to treatment because of high microbial bioburden and the problem of microbial resistance. Silver is a broad-spectrum natural antimicrobial agent with wide applications extending to proprietary wound dressings. Recently, silver nanoparticles have attracted attention in wound management. In the current study, the green synthesis of nanoparticles was accomplished using a natural reducing agent, curcumin, which is a natural polyphenolic compound that is well-known as a wound-healing agent. The hydrophobicity of curcumin was overcome by its microencapsulation in cyclodextrins. This study demonstrates the production, characterization of silver nanoparticles using aqueous curcumin:hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin complex and loading them into bacterial cellulose hydrogel with moist wound-healing properties. These silver nanoparticle-loaded bacterial cellulose hydrogels were characterized for wound-management applications. A Color Mutation Model of Soft Interaction in High Energy Hadronic Collisions
A comprehensive model, called ECOMB, is proposed to describe multiparticle
production by soft interaction. It incorporates the eikonal formalism, parton
model, color mutation, branching and recombination. The physics is conceptually
opposite to the dynamics that underlies the fragmentation of a string. The
partons are present initially in a hadronic collision; they form a single,
large, color-neutral cluster until color mutation of the quarks leads to a
fission of the cluster into two color-neutral subclusters. The mutation and
branching processes continue until only pairs are left in each small
cluster. The model contains self-similar dynamics and exhibits scaling behavior
in the factorial moments. It can satisfactorily reproduce the intermittency

Specific Interactions at Cosmic Ray Energies for Extensive Air Showers Experiments
The HIJING and VENUS models of relativistic hadron-nucleus and
nucleus-nucleus collisions are used to study interactions of hadron-hadron,
hadron-nitrogen and nucleus-nitrogen collisions, specific for the extensive air
shower developments initiated by cosmic rays in the atmosphere. The transverse
energy, transverse momenta and spectra of secondary particles as well as their
energy and mass dependence have been investigated in detail. Results are
presented with particular emphasis on the contributions of minijets in HIJING

Microscopic study of freeze-out in relativistic heavy ion collisions at SPS energies
The freeze-out conditions in the light (S+S) and heavy (Pb+Pb) colliding
systems of heavy nuclei at 160 AGeV/ are analyzed within the microscopic
Quark Gluon String Model (QGSM). We found that even for the most heavy systems
particle emission takes place from the whole space-time domain available for
the system evolution, but not from the thin ''freeze-out hypersurface", adopted
in fluid dynamical models. Pions are continuously emitted from the whole volume
of the reaction and reflect the main trends of the system evolution. Nucleons
in Pb+Pb collisions initially come from the surface region. For both systems
there is a separation of the elastic and inelastic freeze-out. The mesons with
large transverse momenta, , are predominantly produced at the early stages
of the reaction. The low -component is populated by mesons coming mainly
from the decay of resonances. This explains naturally the decreasing source
sizes with increasing , observed in HBT interferometry. Comparison with
S+S and Au+Au systems at 11.6 AGeV/ is also presented.Comment: REVTEX, 26 pages incl. 9 figures and 2 tables, to be published in the
