    A Strategic Model for Promoting the Performance of State Senior High School Teachers. The objective of this study was to reveal: (1) teachers' improved performance at Public Senior High Schools in Aceh Besar district, (2) factors supporting the improvement of teachers' performance at Public Senior High Schools in Aceh Besar district, (3) design of strategic model for the improvement of teachers' performance at Public Senior High Schools in Aceh Besar district. The data were collected through observa­tion, interview, and documentation. The subjects of study were selected from two senior high schools. The research findings indicate that: (1) the improvement of teachers' performance is related to policy and planning, which was conducted through training, workshops, routine discussions, internship programs, and continuing study, (2) the supporting factors are determined by intellectual competency, motivation, and teachers' positive perception towards the main tasks and its function, and (3) the strategic model of teachers' performance is related to the context of teachers' performance standardization and improvement system. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan (1) gambaran empirik peningkatan kinerja guru SMAN Kabupaten Aceh Besar, (2) faktor-faktor penunjang peningkatan kinerja guru SMAN Kabupaten Aceh Besar , (3) rancangan model stratejik peningkatan kinerja guru SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan inquiry qualitative-interactive, dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ditentukan secara purposif. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa: (1) gambaran emperik peningkatan kinerja guru mengacu pada kebijakan, perencanaan, yang dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan penataran, workshop MGMP, pertemuan rutin, program sandaran, dan studi lanjut, (2) Faktor-faktor penunjang kinerja guru turut ditentukan oleh: kemampuan intelektual, motivasi, dan persepsi guru yang positif terhadap tugas pokok dan fungsinya, (3) model stratejik peningkatan kinerja guru tidak lepas dari konteks standarisasi kinerja guru dan sistem pengembangan karier keguruan sebagai PNS baik secara individu maupun kelompok dalam posisi jabatan yang menjadi tanggungjawabnya

    Teacher performance improvemens in the implementation of strategic management, strategy and principals in improving teacher performance. To achieve these objectives, this study uses descriptive qualitative approach. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The procedure of data analysis is data reduction, data display, and verification. While the subject of research is principals, vice-principals, and teachers. The results showed that:(1) The procedure improved performance carried out in accordance with the teachers\u27 work rules in Aceh; (2) Improving the teachers performance in the implementation of strategic management is done in stages and follow the development of the situation as desired by the state management and time; and (3) The principal obstacle in the performance improvement teacher strategy include not involve efforts aimed at transforming strategic objectives into action in the form of the organization of the school program, so that the form of the implementation of educational programs take place with less supervision

    Evaluasi Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan Pada Sekolah Dasar Negeri 67 Kota Banda Aceh

    : Evaluation of curriculum is important to know the achievements of the program implemented, implementation, monitoring and supporting the implementation of SBC factors. This study aimed to describe the data on the evaluation of the implementation of curriculum in 67 public primary schools in Banda Aceh. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation as well as filling a questionnaire study. Data analysis techniques such as data reduction, data display and conclusion. Subjects in this study were principals, vice-principals, and teachers. the conclusion is: (1) Content Document 1 curriculum according to the guidelines but still lacking an explanation of life skills education, education-based local and global. Syllabus and RPP was adopted from examples issued by the National Education Standards, but most of the teachers have been adapted according to the conditions of the school. Syllabus and RPP are still weak in terms of withdrawal indicators and assessment as well as low-grade lesson plan is not thematic. (2) Implementation of SBC Document 1 is in accordance with the plan, but in self-development activities there is little difference for not conducting counseling. Implementation has not been fully based learning lesson plans. Low-grade teacher is not using a thematic approach. Teachers in core activities already conducting exploration activities, elaboration and confirmation as well as carry out the grip so that the students active and creative, but there is still a small proportion of teachers who have not been able to do well. Teachers already use a variety of media and learning resources, but there is still a small fraction of teachers who have not used it. Teachers at the preliminary event does not convey the purpose, benefits, coverage of materials and learning strategies, and the cover does not carry out the activities of reflection. Teachers in implementing learning assessment still shortcomings, such as is found to be less variability assessment technique, lack of due indicators to the basic competencies and the assessment techniques used and the results of the assessment has not been used as a follow-up plan. (3) Supervisors and principals have oversight of curriculum through supervision activities are done once a year. (4) The availability of a complete infrastructure, support parents, and principals, high student motivation, and cooperation among teachers is supportive of curriculum implementation and the weak ability of teachers in planning thematic lesson plans, thematic application and design instructional materials and assessment , is a barrier in the application of the SBC

    : The purpose of this study was to determine the program, implementation, follow-up and the obstacles faced by principals in the implementation of academic supervision in improving the professional competence of teachers. This study used descriptive qualitative approach. The technique of data collection used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Subjects of study were principals, vice-principals, teachers and supervisors. Data were analyzed with data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing and verification. The results showed that: 1) Programs are arranged at the beginning of each school year based on the results of the follow-up implementation of supervision in the previous year based on the instructions given by the Department of Education. Teachers were not fully involved in setting the programs and it was planned twice in one semester. 2) Implementation of supervision begins with socialization activities for teachers and pre-observation meeting. Supervision activities were carried out by providing guidance and direction on the preparation of learning tools, learning implementation and evaluation of learning through meetings, discussions, individual meetings and classroom observations. Principal recorded all activities on a classroom observation on instrument sheet that will be used as input and consideration for guidance in improving teachers' professional competence. 3) Follow-up is done through discussions between principals and teachers to provide feedback from the results of classroom observation. Results of follow-up were concluded with concrete steps contextually as a way out of the problems faced by teachers in the learning process and as an improvement in the future to improve the quality of learning. 4) Obstacles faced were the supervision schedule was often shifted, the use of teaching methods were still centered on the teacher, the teacher felt clumsy when supervised and teachers were less active in seeking new information about learning

    : Conflict is the portion that can not be separated from human life. Since humans recognize real life then the conflict has been with humans. School as a gathering place for humans can not be separated from the problems of conflict, so that the conflict there were feeling lucky and some are feeling dirugikan.Manajemen conflict of school personnel seek to direct the difference into sameness of thought, of be peace and the ultimate goal of this research is to understand how conflict management in organizations can improve the performance of school teachers Kelipah MIN Bener Bener Kelipah District of the central highlands. The method used is descriptive method with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and study documentation. The data analysis techniques with data reduction, data display and making conclusions and verification. That is the subject of this research is the principal, deputy principal and teacher. results showed that: (1) The causes of conflict in the MIN Bener Kelipah is the understanding of teachers and principals about the concept of false conflicts, pressure, feeling aggrieved, oppressed, abused, role conflict and welfare of teachers. (2) The positive impact caused by conflict tehadap teacher performance: is the creation of discipline, increased teacher performance, increasing the quality of the formation of character education respect others. mature attitude and togetherness. While the negative impacts of conflict is the creation of groups within the school organization, the opposition, the decline in teacher performance, stress or crazy. (3) The strategy of conflict control done is: Understanding teachers\u27 economic, social, emotional, psychological, character and character approaches and sanctions (4) barriers to overcome conflicts also often perceived namely: doubt in conflict resolution, the more senior age familial nature , emotional, cultural and social status.     Educational supervision is an effort of teachers\u27 establishment for improving the quality of teaching learning process in school or madrasah. The purposes of this research were aimed to find out: 1) the program of educational supervision. 2) the technical of educational supervision. 3) the process of educational supervision and 4) to follow-up the educational supervision. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive method. To gain the data needed, the writer applied some techniques; observation, interview and documentation. The subjects of this research were the supervisors from The Ministry of Religious Affairs Pidie, the principal, the vise principal and the teachers MAN 1 Sigli. After analyzing the data, it has been found that: 1) the program of educational supervision organized at the beginning of the semester each year by the supervisors, the principaland the senior teacher. Supervision program includes the analysis of teachers\u27 ability, development of teaching learning process, development of teacher professionalism and development of curriculum analysis. 2) the appli-cation of educational supervision technique has not been optimized, so, it could not reveal the weakness of teaching learning process in detail. 3) the imple-mentation of educational supervision was conducted in regular schedule byeach teacher, the process would done through a meeting before observation, obser-vation of teaching learning process and a meeting after observation. 4) the findings of educational supervision followed by the supervisor through humanistic and professional approach

The purpose of this research is to illustrate and analyze the partnership strategy of vocational schools with the business world in its efforts to improve the graduate competency. This research has been held at SMK 3 Banda Aceh using qualitative descriptive approach. The instrument in this research is a researcher itself. This is because in qualitative approach, the researchers are essential instruments. As key instruments, researchers have to create their own set of the guidelines, observation, interview and documentary of appraisal guidelines that is used as a general guide in the process of recording. The results of the study show that the strategies adopted by SMK in forge cooperation with the world of business and industry are through the establishment of the cooperation program, working mechanism and analysis of factors that affect the holding of cooperation between the two parties

    Peningkatan Profesionalitas Guru Melalui Supervisi Akademik Di SMP Negeri 3 Peusangan Kabupaten Bireuen

    : Academic supervision is strongly important to be conducted by the principal in order to improve the ability and professionalism of teachers. The purpose of this research is to find out the program of academic supervision, the implementation of academic supervision and the approach used in implementing academic supervision at State Junior High School (SMPN) 3 Peusangan of Bireuen Regency. The method employed within this research was qualitative approach. The data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation study. The subjects of this research were the principal and teachers ofSMPN 3 Peusangan, Bireuen. The results revealed that (1) the principal compiles the program of academic supervision through discussion with the vice principals and teachers; (2) the implementation of academic supervision conducted by the principal is regularly scheduled based on teachers' invitation and also unscheduled without advance notification. The principal and vice principal of academic affairs share their duty in implementing academic supervision; (3) the technique of supervision performed by the principal is through visiting, observing and grouping classes. Yet, the supervision method used has not varied yet. It can be seen from the implementation of supervision including its process that the implementation of supervision by the principals of SMPN 3 Peusangan, Bireuen has not fully maximized yet. In order to follow up the results of academic supervision, the principal is expected to supervise, guide and assist the teachers such as encouraging them to take part in seminar and training through inviting skilled and competent speakers. Finally, the principal is also expected to provide the opportunity for the teachers to continue their study to the university
