JAMINAN KUALITAS PRODUK PADA TRANSAKSI JUAL BELI DI MARKETPLACE SHOPEE DALAM PERSPEKTIF AKAD BAI’ SALAM

Jaminan kualitas produk sangat diperlukan dalam transaksi jual beli karena hal tersebut merupakan salah satu syarat sah nya jual beli, jika tidak terpenuhinya syarat sah jual beli maka jual beli tersebut menjadi fasid, maka dari itu shopee menghadirkan spesifikasi dari sebuah produk dan review dari pembeli sebelumnya, namun demikian masih ada pejual yang berbuat curang dengan menampilkan spesifikasi produk yang bagus tapi ketika sampai di tangan pembeli produk tersebut cacat atau tidak sesuai dengan deskripsi, pembeli akan merasa dirugikan dan akan meminta pertanggung jawaban dari penjual, dengan demikian penulis ingin mengetahui tentang jaminan kualitas produk yang dijual pada marketplace shopee, adapun masalah yang dikaji adalah ; (1) Bagaimana bentuk pertanggungjawaban penjual terhadap kualitas produk yang dijual pada marketplace shopee ? (2) Bagaimana perjanjian yang dilakukan oleh manajemen marketplace shopee dengan pihak penjual dalam perjaminan kualitas produk yang akan dijual pada konsumen ? (3) Bagaimana perspektif mabi’ pada akad bai’ terhadap jaminan kualitas produk pada transaksi jual beli di marketplace shopee. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan analisis deskriptif analisis, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, dokumentasi dan kuisioner. Penulis menyimpulkan bahwa bentuk pertanggung jawaban penjual terhadap kualitas produk pada situs Shopee ialah ada yang mau bertanggung jawab dan ada pula yang tidak mau bertanggung jawab, karena sebelumnya penjual telah memberikan informasi secara lengkap dan benar mengenai garansi produk yang ditawarkan pada kolom bagian deskripsi.Transaksi jual beli di marketplace shopee dalam perspektif mabi’ pada akad bai salam ini tidak sah, dikarenakan terdapat unsur gharar (penipuan), produk yang diterima oleh konsumen tidak sesuai dengan yang dideskripsi

Complex adaptive systems theory applied to virtual scientific collaborations: The case of DataONE

This study is the exploration of the emergence of DataONE, a multidisciplinary, multinational, and multi-institutional virtual scientific collaboration to develop a cyberinfrastructure for earth sciences data, from the complex adaptive systems perspective. Data is generated through conducting 15 semi-structured interviews, observing three 3-day meetings, and 51 online surveys. The main contribution of this study is the development of a complexity framework and its application to a project such as DataONE. The findings reveal that DataONE behaves like a complex adaptive system: various individuals and institutions interacting, adapting, and coevolving to achieve their own and common goals; during the process new structures, relationships, and products emerge that harmonize with DataONE’s goals. DataONE is quite resilient to threats and adaptive to its environment, which are important strengths. The strength comes from its diversified structure and balanced management style that allows for frequent interaction among members. The study also offers insights to PI(s), managers, and funding institutions on how to treat complex systems. Additional results regarding multidisiplinarity, library and information sciences, and communication studies are presented as well

Biocatalytic performance of carbonic anhydrase immobilized within polyurethane foam in water-miscible organic solvents

Thesis (Master)--Izmir Institute of Technology, Biotechnology, Izmir, 2013Includes bibliographical references (leaves: 69-73)Text in English; Abstract: Turkish and Englishxi, 73 leavesThe effects of water-miscible organic solvents such as acetonitrile and ethanol on the activity of free and immobilized bovine carbonic anhydrase (CA) were investigated. The CA was covalently immobilized within polyurethane (PU) foam by cross-linking. Although PU foam holds water almost 12 times of its weight, it was found that adsorption isotherm of moisture on PU foam was a Type III indicating that water and PU foam were non-interacting to each other. The activities for the free and immobilized CA were estimated using para-nitrophenyl acetate (p-NPA) as the substrate. The enzyme activities were estimated in increasing volume percents of organic solvent in Tris buffer (10-90%). p-NP, which is one of the products of the hydrolysis reaction of p-NPA, was characterized in the presence of organic solvents and it was observed that its aborptivities were decreased significantly as the organic solvent percentages were increased indicating that p-NP and the water-miscible organic solvent form a complex through mostly a hydrogen bonding. The free CA showed decreasing activity up to critical percentages of organic solvent (40-60%), and then exhibited an increasing activity. The immobilized CA showed decreasing activity in acetonitrile at percentages up to 50%, and then lost its total activity at higher acetonitrile percentages, however, the immobilized CA exhibited no activity in ethanol at percentages above 10%. Stability tests showed that the immobilized CA was dramatically inactivated in the organic solvents at percentages above 30% in shorter times. It was concluded that the water-miscible organic solvents severely perturbed the active site of the enzyme, thus denaturating the enzyme

Low-dose, long-term macrolide therapy in asthma: An overview

Macrolides, a class of antimicrobials isolated from Streptomycetes more than 50 years ago, are used extensively to treat sinopulmonary infections in humans. In addition, a growing body of experimental and clinical evidence indicates that long-term (years), low (sub-antimicrobial)-dose 14- and 15-membered ring macrolide antibiotics, such as erythromycin, clarithromycin, roxithromycin and azithromycin, express immunomodulatory and tissue reparative effects that are distinct from their anti-infective properties. These salutary effects are operative in various lung disorders, including diffuse panbronchiolitis, cystic fibrosis, persistent chronic rhinosinusitis, nasal polyposis, bronchiectasis, asthma and cryptogenic organizing pneumonia. The purpose of this overview is to outline the immunomodulatory effects of macrolide antibiotics in patients with asthma
