The influence of Different Types of Career Exploration on Achievement Career Identity Among Z Generation
This study aims to determine the effect of career exploration on the achievement of career identity, as well as various aspects of career exploration consisting of aspects of parental influence, economic status, personal choices, personal preferences, teacher influence, peer influence, the media, and which religious orientation most influential on identity career achievement. Using a correlational research design to determine how much influence the independent and dependent variables have. The data collection technique used a career development questionnaire. It developed from theory of the career development questionnaire, which EFA and CFA had tested to determine model fit, and both Career identity development inventories (CIDI). The sample in this study was students in South Sulawesi. The data analysis technique used was Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis. Based on the findings, it was found that: 1. Career exploration on the career identity of generation Z students has a positive influence, 2. Several aspects of career exploration consist of personal choices, preferences, peer influence, and the media positively influencing career identity, 3. Aspects of career exploration that do not affect achievement career identity are parental influence, economic status, teacher influence, and religious orientatio
Pengembangan Media Bimbingan Karier Animasi Motion Graphic Sebagai Layanan Informasi Karier Pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar
This research develops career guidance media based on motion graphic animation as a career information service for elementary school students. The purpose of this research is to find out; 1) Description of media needs for career guidance; 2) Career guidance media prototype; and 3) To produce valid and practical motion graphic animation-based career guidance media. This study uses the ADDIE model. The instruments used in this study were angles and interview guidelines. Based on the results of the study, it shows that 1) Students of SD Negeri Bontocinde have a low understanding of careers so that media such as Motion graphic Animation is needed to support the implementation of career information services; 2) Prototype of Motion graphic Animation media consisting of opening, introduction, content, and outro/closing; 3) Assessment of motion graphic animation media was carried out by material experts (score 3.5 very good) and media experts (score 3.9 very good). Assessment by the teacher obtained values from all three aspects, namely usability, feasibility, and accuracy with a total proportion obtained of 84% with very valid criteria. In conclusion, the level of validity of the Animation Motion graphic media as a career information service is stated to be valid for student use so that the media is feasible for extensive testing
PENGEMBANGAN MODEL KEPRIBADIAN KONSELOR EFEKTIF BERBASIS BUDAYA SIRI’ NA PESSE
Tujuan dari tulisan ini adalah mengkaji budaya siri na pesse sebagai model konselor ideal dalam perspektif multikultural. Sumber data diambil dari berbagai informasi relevan dengan budaya siri na pesse, kepribadian konselor efektif, dan berbagai literatur yang relevan dengan permasalahan yang ada. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari tiga yaitu mengidentifikasi data budaya siri na pesse berdasarkan karakter ideal konselor, mengklasifikasi data dan interpretasi data. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa budaya siri na pesse dapat menjadi suatu konsep kepribadian konselor yang efektif dalam perspektif multikultural. Nilai appasitinajang (kesederhanaan) berimplikasi pada sikap untuk senantiasa menjadi role model bagi konseli dan lingkungannya. Nilai Lempu situru ada tongeng (kejujuran) yang berimpikasi pada sikap genuine dan asas konfidensialitas konselor. Nilai Reso (kerja keras) berimplikasi pada sikap pantang menyerah dan reseliensi. Nilai Pesse babua (pedih, perih kepada orang lain) yang berimplikasi pada sikap empati dan unconditional positive regard (penerimaan tanpa syarat) dan  nilai toto ia rega were (kepercayaan terhadap takdir) yang berimplikasi pada kompetensi kepribadian konselor yang beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Es
Gender Analysis of Student Career Self-Efficacy and Implications in Career Guidance Services at State Vocational Schools
This study aims to determine the differences in career self-efficacy of female and male students at SMK Negeri Makassar City. The study took a population of high school students in Makassar City, with a sample of 426 students, consisting of 215 girls and 211 boys. The career self-efficacy variable data collection instrument was developed and adapted from the Career Decision Self-Efficacy Scale (CDSE-SF) from Betz, Klein, & Taylor. The results of the study show that there was no significant difference in the career self-efficacy scores of female students and male students at SMK Negeri Makassar City. Significant differences were seen only in the maritime skills program, where female students' self-efficacy was higher than male students. In contrast, in the six skill programs, both sexes showed no significant difference in career self-efficacy.
Pengaruh Keterampilan 4C (Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication) Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling terhadap Keterlaksanaan Layanan Dasar Bimbingan dan Konseling di Sekolah
This study aims to determine the direct and indirect effect of 4c skills (communication, collaboration, and critical thinking through the skills of guidance and counselling teachers on implementing basic guidance and counselling services in Makassar City Junior High Schools. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a correlational research design that aims to investigate the extent to which a variable is related to one or more variables. The research data were collected using research instruments, namely the BK teacher's 4C skill questionnaire and the implementation of basic guidance and counseling services which were distributed to 60 respondents of guidance and counseling teachers, this instrument has been tested for validity and reliability with confirmatory factor analysis, then analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques and path analysis using JASP statistical data. So the results of the research: 1) The description of the implementation of basic services has a high category, 2) The description of the 4C skills of BK teachers from critical thinking variables is in the high category, and creativity, collaboration, and communication are in the medium category, 3) Communication skills BK teacher communication and collaboration have a direct influence on the implementation of basic counselling services but indirectly through creativity, while critical thinking skills have no direct and indirect influence on the implementation of basic counselling services through creativity
Pengembangan Panduan Digital Berbasis Klarifikasi Nilai Empatik Pencegahan Mikroagresi Bias Gender Guru Di Sekolah Dasar
This study aims to develop guidelines for empathetic communication methods for teachers and students in preventing gender bias microaggressions based on flip book media. This research method uses Hannafin and Peck's model development research. This development research applies steps starting from the stages of needs analysis, design, product development, material and media expert testing, revision, and user testing. The subjects of this study were 20 elementary school teachers in Makassar City. The research data collection technique uses a needs analysis questionnaire, expert validation, and user trials in the form of a Google form using a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques using descriptive and reflective data analysis. The results showed that the teacher's level of need for digital guidance was 90% and was categorized as feasible through validation by media and material experts at 90% and through the user test process with a high level of media feasibility. This shows that the teach-smart digital guide is appropriate in reducing and preventing microaggressions caused by the teacher's gender bias behavior in the learning process
Different 21st Century Skills Among Z Generation in The Higher Education Based On The Level of Students, and Gender Difference
Z Generation is a generation that is unique from the previous generation because it has technological capabilities and lives in an era of advanced technology. This uniqueness requires Z generation to have 21st-century skills to adapt to the demands of the industrial era 4.0. However, not all Z Generation have these skills and adaptability. Therefore, this study aims to describe and distinguish the skills of 21st-century students as seen from the level of lectures and gender differences. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The sample in this study amounted to 268 students from 9 faculties, namely Education, Language, Engineering, art, psychology, social science, sports, economics and science. This sample consisted of 130 women and 138 men. The measuring instrument in this study uses an adaptation of the 21st-century skill instrument, which consists of 4 aspects: 1) Information and technology literacy skills, 2) Entrepreneurship and innovation skills, 3) Social responsibility and leadership skills, and 4) career consciousness. Techniques of data analysis using descriptive statistical data analysis and ANOVA using JASP assistance. The results showed that there were differences in students' 21st-century skills based on semester level, and there were differences in students' 21st-century skills based on gender
Development of subjective well-being inventory in schools using the RASCH model
This study aims to develop an inventory to measure subjective well-being among high school (SMA) and vocational high school (SMK) students in Indonesia. Using Item Response Theory (IRT with the Rasch model and Winstep software, it adopts a mixed methods design, specifically an exploratory sequential approach. Purposive sampling selects 350 participants from 16 schools in West Java, Sulawesi, and Sumatra. The inventory comprises 60 statement items across three components: pleasant affect, unpleasant affect, and life satisfaction, totaling 16 indicators. Modified Likert scales assess each item. Validation involves validators expert guidance counseling, and Rasch modeling analysis covering item fit, dimensionality, and reliability. The research findings indicate that the development of the Indonesian version of the subjective well-being inventory for high school/vocational high school students using the Rasch modeling approach has successfully produced a valid and reliable measurement tool. Penerapan Mind Mapping Method untuk Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Mahasiswa Sebagai Persiapan Menghadapi Pasca Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh
Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan minat belajar mahasiswa saat menghadapi pasca pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) melalui mind mapping method. Tujuan jangka panjang penelitian ini yaitu memberikan pemahaman dan meningkatkan minat belajar kepada mahasiswa. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan dua variabel yaitu mind mapping method dan minat belajar mahasiswa, menggunakan dua kelompok yaitu eksperimen dan kontrol pada pre test dan post test. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif, dengan uji wilcoxon ranks test dan pengujian hipotesis. The influence of teacher’s language impoliteness in triggering students’ bullying behavior
The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of teacher’s language impoliteness in triggering students’ bullying behavior. The participants are the primary school students in Makassar by using purposive sampling approach. The participants are students who have bullying cases as a perpetrator in the last one month. Observation, in-depth interview, and questionnaire are used to collect the data. Data Analysis technique employed was simple linear regression analysis. This study shows that impolite language uttered by the teacher influences students’ bullying behaviors. Students who are used to hearing these impolite utterances from their teachers tend to commit bullying behavior verbally at schools since they tend to consider this behavior as an acceptable behavior
