    The Role of Physical Activity in Enhancing Mental Health among Adults Facing

    Exercise has many physical benefits, including stress reduction. Individuals who exercise regularly tend to appear more relaxed and cheerful, making them more resilient to both physical and emotional stress. This is particularly relevant for medical students who may experience stress due to changes in learning styles from middle school to higher education. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between exercise habits and stress levels in the community of XYZ area in Ambon. This study employed a cross-sectional design and utilized two basic instruments: the Exercise Habits Questionnaire and the DASS-42 Questionnaire. A total of 96 respondents were sampled and analyzed using the Chi Square test. The results showed that 38 respondents (39.6%) exercised regularly, while 58 respondents (60.4%) did not. Fifty-seven respondents (59.4%) reported a normal stress level, while 9 (9.4%) reported a light level, 13 (13.5%) reported a moderate level, 12 (12.5%) reported a severe level, and 5 (5.2%) reported a very severe level. The Chi Square test yielded a p-value of 0.144. The research findings indicate that there is no significant correlation (p=0.144) between exercise habits and stress levels among the people of XYZ Village in Ambon City

    This research explores the formation of students into Ulul al-bab individuals through the Ma'na-Cum Maghza perspective, focusing on the analysis of verse 19 of Surah Ar-Ra'd. The research uses a Quranic studies approach to understand the concept of Ulul al-bab and explore its practical implications in the context of education. Through the interpretation of verse 19, the research identifies factors that support the process of Ulul al-bab's formation and details the implications of Ma'na Cum Maghza in the context of education. The research methodology involves textual and contextual analysis of the verse and an interdisciplinary approach that integrates Islamic educational principles. The results of this study can provide practical guidance for educators in shaping students towards Ulul al-bab individuals through the teachings of the Qur'an and the values of Islamic education.     An examination of the interpretation of the Koran that elicits contentious topics in the contemporary post-modern era is a fascinating subject to explore. Hermeneutics, which originated in Ancient Greece, has been included in the process of understanding the Koran, as discussed in this article. A discussion ensued concerning the advent of the hermeneutical approach when employed in the interpretation of the Koran. Is it possible to employ a hermeneutical methodology for the interpretation of the Koran? Hermeneutics provides a solution to contemporary interpretive disputes by offering a systematic and comprehensive approach to understanding and interpreting texts. In this inquiry, the author analyzes multiple perspectives on hermeneutics held by interpretive figures in Indonesia. This article highlights the importance of science as a catalyst for change in the contemporary era, emphasizing that it should not be disregarded or dismissed.     Penelitian ini menelaah bagaimana peningkatan hasil belajar Matematika menggunakan metode Make a Match pada kelas III SDN Sukorambi 03 kecamatan Sukorambi kabupaten Jember tahun pelajaran 2023/2024?. Tujuan dilaksanakan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika dengan metode Make a Match pada kelas III SDN Sukorambi 03 kecamatan Sukorambi kabupaten Jember tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SDN Sukorambi 03 Kecamatan Sukorambi Kabupaten Jember, dengan jumlah 28 siswa. Dari 28 siswa Kelas 3 SDN Sukorambi 03 ini mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami pembelajaran Matematika.Tempat penelitian pembelajaran adalah di SDN Sukorambi 03 Kecamatan Sukorambi Kabupaten Jember. Adapun waktu penelitian pembelajaran ini dilakukan pada semester Genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Mata pelajaran Matematika, menggunakan Metode Pembelajaran Make a match. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu hasil belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui metode Make a Match. Terbukti dari hasil belajar siswa kemajuan yang signifikan yaitu dengan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang pada pra siklus 20%, siklus I hanya 45 % siswa yang dapat menuntaskan belajarnya, sedangkan pada siklus II sudah mencapai 85 % atau sebanyak 22 Siswa yang tuntas hasil belajarnya. Berarti terjadi peningkatan sebesar 65 % siswa dari pra siklus hingga siklus 2 yang dapat menuntaskan belajarnya

    Lembaga yang mengemban tugas dan tanggung jawab dalam pencapaian tujuan pendidikan adalah keluarga. Ayah dan ibu memiliki peranan yang sangat besar dalam  mendidik anak-anak, memiliki tanggung jawab yang besar. Pada media massa masih banyak ditemukan berita tentang anak usia dini yang berbicara kasar dan suka meniru adegan yang tidak pantas dengan usia mereka seperti pemerkosaan, kekerasan, bahkan pembunuhan. Seharusnya dunia anak-anak pada usia dini yaitu bermain gembira sambil belajar, sehingga situasi seperti hal disebutkan sebelumnya sangat memprihatinkan hati kita sebagai pendidik maupun pemerhati anak. Orang tua harus berperan penting dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moral dan agama pada anak sejak usia dini. Setidaknya ada tiga aspek yang harus dikembangkan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai agama dan moral pada anak usia dini yaitu aspek kognitif, afektif, dan perilaku. Temuan dalam peran orang tua menunjukkan bahwa orang tua memegang peranan yang  sangat penting dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moral dan agama kepada anaknya. Peran pendidik, peran motivator, peran panutan, dan peran pengawas merupakan aspek penting dari peran orang tua dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai agama dan moral pada anaknya. Doa, kejujuran, kedisiplinan, menghormati orang lain, dan kepedulian sosial adalah beberapa prinsip agama dan moral yang ditanamkan pada anak. Anak-anak akan melihat,mengamati, dan mempelajari nilai-nilai tersebut dari orang tuanya melalui perilaku dan tindakan yang nyata

    The purpose of this study is to describe the form of grounding the pesantren tradition in society through the Qur’an’s sorogan, and to identify the obstacles and relevance of the effectiveness of the Qur’an sorogan to social change in the village of Banjarejo, East Lampung. The author uses qualitative research and social construction theory as an analytical tool. Informants in this study were chosen using the purposive sampling technique. The result of this paper is that the relevance of the effectiveness of the Qur’an sorogan to social change in society can be found in the emergence of a moderate attitude, both in 'ubūdiyyah and khulūqiyyah wa mu'āmalah ways. The implementation of this Qur’an sorogan: First, begins with an ustad listening to the recitation of the Qur'an by senior students one by one. The tutor slowly corrects the recitation if some tajwid errors are found. Second, Qur'an teachers explained little about the understanding of verses by various existing aspects. In particular, the above can increase societal scientific values and create a moderate attitude amid existing differences. In this matter, tutors encounter unavoidable obstacles while improving senior students' reading due to age factors and various character backgrounds

    Self-Efficacy, Teacher’s Attitude, and English Language Learning Achievements

    Student’s learning achievement is affected by internal and external factors. This study aimed to discover the relationship between self-efficacy and teachers' attitudes with SMP N (State Junior High School) 1 Bantul student learning achievement in English language subjects. The self-efficacy variable is considered the internal factor, while the teacher’s attitude is one of the external factors. This study is quantitative research using the non-experimental research design and correlational approach. The research population involved 320 students of Grade VIII of SMP N 1 Bantul, selected using the cluster random sampling technique. The research data were collected using the self-efficacy scale adapted from Gafoor & Ashraf (2006), the teacher’s attitude scale compiled by Yuzarion (2014), and students’ final semester examination grades from the Even Semester Year 2022/2023. The data analysis technique applied to analyze these data was multiple linear regression using the assistance of the SPSS application. In the minor hypothesis testing, an R-value of .539 was obtained for the self-efficacy variable, and .690 for the teacher attitude variable with a probability value of .000. Based on the results of multiple regression analysis for the major hypothesis, an R-value of .701 was obtained with a probability value of .000. These results mean that there is a strong relationship between self-efficacy and teacher attitudes towards student’s learning achievement. The effective contribution separately for the self-efficacy variable is 8.8% and 40.3% for the teacher attitude variable. The total effective contribution is 49.1%, with the remaining 50.9% influenced by other variables not discussed in this research

    Bagaimanakah penerapan media Flashcard terhadap keterampilan membaca anak usia 5-6 tahun, apakah berpengaruh penerapan media Flashcard terhadap keterampilan membaca anak usia 5-6 tahun.  Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwasannya penerapan menggunakan media Flashcard dapat mendorong murid untuk aktif dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Sehingga belajar dengan bermain dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca murid yang mengalami keterlambatan membaca. Hal ini juga dapat dilihat dari hasil kemampuan membaca murid pada kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan dengan media Flashcard lebih tinggi dengan nilai rata rata 82% yaitu kategori sangat baik dan nilai rata-rata murid yang diajar dengan pendekatan konvensional yaitu sebesar 57% yaitu kategori cukup. Sangat berpengaruh media Flashcard terhadap keterampilan membaca murid Raudhatul Athfal An Najah. Hal ini terlihat pada uji Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) bernilai 0,012. Karena nilai 0,012 lebih kecil dari < 0,05 Dari uji wolcoxon tersebut disimpulkan bahwa media Flashcard mampu memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keterampilan membaca murid Raudhatul Athfal An Najah

    Student Self-Efficacy is Viewed Through Parental Involvement, Teacher Support, and Peer Support

    Self-efficacy influences students' beliefs to achieve the desired results. The social environment was vulnerable to the development of student self-efficacy because it functioned as a source of information that students perceived. This study aimed to analyze student self-efficacy in terms of parental involvement and teacher and peer support. These participants involved 400 SMK students in Pasuruan Regency, who were selected using a multi-stage random sampling technique. The research instrument used a self-efficacy scale with the test results producing a reliability coefficient of .780, parental involvement .785, teacher support .572, and peer support .834. Data analysis used PLS-SEM. Based on the probability value of F-statistics, the p-value was .000 < α (α = .05), meaning that there was an influence from the three predictor variables simultaneously on student self-efficacy. Partially, the t-statistical value of the three variables was also proven to be greater than the t-table (1.96), with parental involvement of 2.868, teacher support of 8,970, and peer support of 4,101. Thus, simultaneously, predictor variables had an effect on self-efficacy, and partially, teacher support had the most significant effect, followed by peer support, and parental involvement had the slightest effect

    Kelurahan Sako Baru terbentuk Tanggal 18 Agustus 2007. Kelurahan Sako Baru memiliki Bank sampah yang bernama “Bank Sampah Melati”. Kelurahan Sako Baru juda terdapat salah Satu Prioritas Program PKK Sako Baru adalah Pengembangan Kehidupan Berkoperasi. Adapun Pelaksanaan Programnya adalah Pemberian keterampilan keluarga dalam upaya peningkatan dan pemberdayaan ekonomi kelurga melalui pengembangan ekonomi kreatif dan usaha mikro kecil, serta pengembangan kehidupan berkoperasi. Pelatihan Pembuatan Bunga Hias dari Sampah Plastik Bank Sampah Melati PKK Kelurahan Sako Baru dapat menghasilkan produk-produk kreativitas atau produk inovatif yang mudah dikerjakan dan dipasarkan. Metode Pengabdian yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) Dari data yang kami peroleh dari Kelurahan Sako Baru termasuk warga yang  tingkat pendapatannya rata-rata rendah. Selanjutnya juga berdasarkan hasil wawancara di lapangan sebagian besar wanita Kelurahan Sako Baru tidak bekerja, ataupun bekerja musiman, ibu rumah tangga sehingga sangat menunjang apabila diberikan tambahan keterampilan untuk “Pelatihan Membuat Bunga Hias dari Sampah Plastik“. Dengan demikian kegiatan PKM ini dapat mengembangkan kewirausahaan Kelurahan Sako Baru dan meningkatkan keterampilan  PKK dalam membuat Bunga Plastik dari sampah kresek plastik yang siap dipasarkan. Metode pelaksanaan diawali dengan pemberian penyuluhan, Sosialisasi, pelatihan, praktik, dan penilaian bagaimana layaknya barang untuk dipasarkan. Harapan dari PKM ini adalah adanya peningkatan ekonomi dikalangan keluarga melalui pemanfaatan lingkungan sebagai sumber penghasilan masyarakat
