    The Characters In “The Pursuit Of Happyness” By Gabriella Muccino

    The goal of this study is to describe the focus of the research that consists of the characters in the film “The Pursuit of Happyness “by Gabriella Muccino. The data were taken based on the quotations that focus on the characters found in the film script and time sequence “The Story of My Life”. The research is analyzed by using the qualitative approach. The kind of characters is based on eight instruments, they are major, minor, protagonist, antagonist, flat, round, static, and dynamic. This study is conducted based on literature reviews by observing documents from the film. The film consists of 1 hour 57 minutes duration and 103 pages of the original script. The findings that are found based on the observation from this film were significant. The character instruments consist of Minor by 30% % at the highest position, then Protagonist by 20 %, static by 10 %, antagonist by 10 %, Dynamic by 10 %, Round by 10 %, and Major by 7 %. and flat by 3%. The conclusions showed that the character that emerged as the minor character that consists in this film makes this film more interesting. After analyzing this film, the writer concluded that this element emerged from the major character’s hard work and self-empowerment strength that builds the personal competence involving personal journey and process of understanding as the effect of many problems in his life

    Children are the trust entrusted by Allah SWT to parents to raise them to be sholeh and sholeha children. This shows that parents have a great responsibility for the education of their children. Because the success of parents in raising their children will affect his future. Thus, through QS Luqman verses 17-19 provide examples of how parents educate a child. This study aims to find out what education parents need to instill in a child to have charisma based on QS Luqman verses 17-19. The method used by research is the library research method that refers to various data sources. The results of this study explain that in QS Luqman verses 17-19 there are two forms of education that parents need to instill in their children. The education consists of creed education and moral education. Religious education includes worshiping Allah SWT, carrying out amar ma'ruf and staying away from nahi mungkar, and being patient. While moral education includes not being arrogant / arrogant, always being simple and gentle in word and deed

    Assessing academic writing performance is a critical aspect of educational practices. The thesis is derived from writing is an essential skill that students need to develop to succeed academically and professionally. To fulfill this, the Rasch model offers important test statistics that play a crucial role in constructing tests related to evaluation and item selection problems, as well as in decision-making regarding the generated test scores. Building upon this narrative, this research is conducted with the aim of identifying person fit in assessing academic writing performance using the Rasch model. The sample in the form of essays was obtained from a group of 40 students who had previously undergone a six-month academic writing program. The data was then analyzed using Ministep 4.8.2.0 built for Rasch Model analysis. The analysis results indicated that there were 31 students in the person misfit category, suggesting a need to reconsider the appropriateness of the conducted treatment and whether there were other factors contributing to it. Additionally, a discrepancy was found in 5 students with persons misfit or overfit, and their better performance was observed on more difficult items, contrary to the Rasch model's profil
