Flexoelectricity and apparent piezoelectricity of a pantographic micro-bar

    Get PDF
We discuss a homogenized model of a pantographic bar considering flexoelectricity. A pantographic bar consists of relatively stiff small bars connected by small soft flexoelectric pivots. As a result, an elongation of the bar relates almost to the torsion of pivots. Taking into account their flexoelectric properties we find the corresponding electric polarization. As a results, the homogenized pantographic bar demonstrates piezoelectric properties inherited from the flexoelectric properties of pivots. The effective stiffness properties of the homogenized bars are determined by the geometry of the structural elements and shear stiffness whereas the piezoelectric properties follow from the flexoelectric moduli of the pivots

Effect of anomalous photoabsorption on parametric X-ray radiation from relativistic electrons

    Get PDF
Parametric X-ray radiation from relativistic electrons moving in a crystal is theoretically investigated in Bragg geometry. It is shown that the effect of anomalous photoabsorption can manifest itself within this geometry of the scattering of the pseudophoton field of a fast particleye

X-ray generation from relativistic electrons passing through thin targets in cyclical accelerators

    Get PDF
The characteristics of quasi-monochromatic tunable X-ray sources based on multipasses of electrons through thin targets installed in cyclical accelerators are discussed. An internal bremsstrahlung radiator coupled with a multilayer X-mirror placed outside the accelerator vacuum chamber is used to produce tunable, narrow spectrayesBelgorod State Universit

Crystal isomorphisms in Fock spaces and Schensted correspondence in affine type A

    Get PDF
We are interested in the structure of the crystal graph of level ll Fock spaces representations of Uq(sle^)\mathcal{U}_q (\widehat{\mathfrak{sl}_e}). Since the work of Shan [26], we know that this graph encodes the modular branching rule for a corresponding cyclotomic rational Cherednik algebra. Besides, it appears to be closely related to the Harish-Chandra branching graph for the appropriate finite unitary group, according to [8]. In this paper, we make explicit a particular isomorphism between connected components of the crystal graphs of Fock spaces. This so-called "canonical" crystal isomorphism turns out to be expressible only in terms of: - Schensted's classic bumping procedure, - the cyclage isomorphism defined in [13], - a new crystal isomorphism, easy to describe, acting on cylindric multipartitions. We explain how this can be seen as an analogue of the bumping algorithm for affine type AA. Moreover, it yields a combinatorial characterisation of the vertices of any connected component of the crystal of the Fock space

On Spin Calogero-Moser system at infinity

    Get PDF
We present a construction of a new integrable model as an infinite limit of Calogero models of N particles with spin. It is implemented in the multicomponent Fock space. Explicit formulas for Dunkl operators, the Yangian generators in the multicomponent Fock space are presented. The classical limit of the system is examined

Fermionic R-Operator and Integrability of the One-Dimensional Hubbard Model

We propose a new type of the Yang-Baxter equation (YBE) and the decorated Yang-Baxter equation (DYBE). Those relations for the fermionic R-operator were introduced recently as a tool to treat the integrability of the fermion models. Using the YBE and the DYBE for the XX fermion model, we construct the fermionic R-operator for the one-dimensional (1D) Hubbard model. It gives another proof of the integrability of the 1D Hubbard model. Furthermore a new approach to the SO(4) symmetry of the 1D Hubbard model is discussed.Comment: 25 page
