The following new species are described: Nyctonympha andersoni, sp. n., and N. howdenarum, sp. n., both from Colombia; N. genieri, sp. n., from Ecuador; N. taeniata, sp. n., from Trinidad; Falsamblesthis microps, sp. n., from Venezuela; Bactriola circundata, sp. n., from Brazil (Rio de Janeiro); B. maculata, sp. n., from Venezuela and Ecuador; and B. falsa, sp. n., from Brazil (Minas Gerais to Rio Grande do Sul). A redescription of Bactriola vittulata Bates, 1886, herein designated as the type species of the genus, is provided. Spectra and Scattering of Light Lattice Nuclei from Effective Field Theory

An effective field theory is used to describe light nuclei, calculated from quantum chromodynamics on a lattice at unphysically large pion masses. The theory is calibrated at leading order to two available data sets on two- and three-body nuclei for two pion masses. At those pion masses we predict the quartet and doublet neutron-deuteron scattering lengths, and the alpha-particle binding energy. For $m_\pi=510~$MeV we obtain, respectively, $^4a_{\rm nD}=2.3\pm 1.3~$fm, $^2a_{\rm nD}=2.2\pm 2.1~$fm, and $B_{\alpha}^{}=35\pm 22~$MeV, while for $m_\pi=805~$MeV $^4a_{\rm nD}=1.6\pm 1.3~$fm, $^2a_{\rm nD}=0.62\pm 1.0~$fm, and $B_{\alpha}^{}=94\pm 45~$MeV are found. Phillips- and Tjon-like correlations to the triton binding energy are established. Higher-order effects on the respective correlation bands are found insensitive to the pion mass. As a benchmark, we present results for the physical pion mass, using experimental two-body scattering lengths and the triton binding energy as input. Embryologic comparisons in the architektonikkapitel : fleeting dissonances or prolonged disharmonies?

In 1781, prior to any Kantian reference in favor of the epigenesis – a direct, nominal reference, published in life –, two comparative passages of the “Architectonic of Pure Reason” will have drawn no attention from his readers. But, despite omitting that “augmentation” [Vermehrung], such passages shall lead, both on its own and jointly, to the possibility of a retrospective conflict regarding that theory; a conflict of a conceptual nature which may have repercussions on Kant’s position on the epigenesis, be it directly, on a metaphorical-speculative level, be it indirectly, on an embryological level. The present, ongoing study shall deal with the collocation of the problem, the presentation of some elements in view of its analysis and, finally, a possible solution for the difficulties which the two passages of both editions of the Critique indirectly raise.Em 1781, antes de qualquer referência do próprio Kant a favor da epigênese – referência direta, própria, em escrito seu publicado em vida –, dois trechos comparativos d’“A Arquitetônica da Razão Pura” não terão desperto nenhuma atenção especial no leitor. Injustiças e astúcias associativas nas ocupações das escolas públicas do Rio de Janeiro em 2016

Based on qualitative data collected in a field research carried out in 2016 in five state public schools in Rio de Janeiro, this article examines the meanings attributed to injustice in public schooling practices and how student action in this context shapes the occupation of schools and current student experiences. The analyzes expanded the understanding of the school as a public arena, revealed the various ways in which political ties are formed, broken and maintained in the school and in occupations, and addressed the deficiencies of public schools and the policies for upper secondary public schools in Rio de Janeiro and other states. The research also revealed the uncertain and difficult associative student effort to expose education problems while living in the occupied school. The situations observed bring to light the need for a habitable public school, the ineffectiveness of the schooling offered to poor Brazilian students and young people, and the difficult struggle faced by them to ensure quality schooling and autonomy in the complex, unequal and plural context of current Brazilian society.A partir de dados qualitativos construídos em pesquisa de campo realizada no ano de 2016 em cinco escolas públicas estaduais do Rio de Janeiro, são analisados os sentidos de injustiça que atravessam a escolarização pública estadual e os modos de atuar que conformam as ocupações das escolas e a experiência escolar atual. As análises conduzem a ampliar a definição da escola como arena pública e à percepção da multiplicidade de formas pelas quais os vínculos políticos se constituem, se rompem e se mantêm na escola e nas ocupações, assim como a interrogar as deficiências do equipamento público escolar e das políticas públicas destinadas ao ensino médio no Rio de Janeiro e noutros estados. Na mesma direção, argumenta-se no sentido de mostrar o instável e dificultoso trabalho associativo dos estudantes em vista de sustentar, enquanto coabitam a escola ocupada, a denúncia dos problemas que atravessam sua escolarização. As situações encontradas interrogam tanto a oferta de uma escola pública habitável quanto a ineficácia da qualificação escolar dos estudantes/jovens das classes populares brasileiras, entre os quais as questões problemáticas trazidas à tona evidenciam uma difícil batalha pela escolarização e pela autonomização nas condições complexas, desiguais e plurais da sociedade brasileira atual
