SURVEY RESULTS OF THE FACTORS AFFECTTING ORGANIC FOOD PURCHASE INTENTION OF CONSUMERS

    Get PDF
The research examines factors that influence the organic food purchase intention of Vietnamese consumers. In accordance with theoretical behavioral models and organic food research, data was collected and analyzed via SMARTPLS. Inspecting results demonstrate that 4 factors have a positive influence on organic food purchase intention. Additionally, the research team evaluates the levels of influence of each factor through descriptive statistics of the factors’ average value. The evaluating results are the foundation to propose remedies that encourage the organic food purchase intention of Vietnamese consumers

Character Time-series Matching For Robust License Plate Recognition

Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) is becoming a popular study area and is applied in many fields such as transportation or smart city. However, there are still several limitations when applying many current methods to practical problems due to the variation in real-world situations such as light changes, unclear License Plate (LP) characters, and image quality. Almost recent ALPR algorithms process on a single frame, which reduces accuracy in case of worse image quality. This paper presents methods to improve license plate recognition accuracy by tracking the license plate in multiple frames. First, the Adaptive License Plate Rotation algorithm is applied to correctly align the detected license plate. Second, we propose a method called Character Time-series Matching to recognize license plate characters from many consequence frames. The proposed method archives high performance in the UFPR-ALPR dataset which is \boldmath96.7%96.7\% accuracy in real-time on RTX A5000 GPU card. We also deploy the algorithm for the Vietnamese ALPR system. The accuracy for license plate detection and character recognition are 0.881 and 0.979 mAPtestmAP^{test}@.5 respectively. RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SEAFOOD EXPORT AND VIETNAM'S ECONOMIC GROWTH IN THE PERIOD OF 2005 – 2022

    Get PDF
This article studies the relationship between seafood exports and Vietnam's economic growth in the period 2005 - 2022.  To conduct the research, the authors collected data on seafood export turnover and economic growth rate - represented by real gross domestic product (GDPr) in the period from 2005 to 2022. Data is collected from the General Statistics Office of Vietnam (GSO) and international financial statistics sites (IFS, IMF).  After synthesizing and cleaning the data, the research team used Eviews 8 software to analyze the data series to examine the relationship between seafood export turnover and economic growth during the research period. Model results show that when seafood export turnover increases by 1%, economic growth increases by 1.041382%, so it can be confirmed that seafood export has a positive relationship with Vietnam's economic growth during the research period. From the research results, the authors have several proposals to promote the growth of Vietnamese seafood exports to the international market in the post-pandemic context and the volatile world seafood market situation

Influence of magnetic field on properties of electrodeposited FeCo layer

    Get PDF
Effect of magnetic field on the electrodeposition of FeCo layers has been investigated with respect to the orientation of the magnetic field to surface electrode e.g magnetic field is parallel and perpendicular to electrode. Electrochemical behaviours, morphology, composition, structure and magnetic properties were investigated using cyclic voltammogram (CV), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersion Spectroscopy (EDS), X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD), Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM). Results show that morphology and structure of the deposited layers are not effected by external magnetic field. Meanwhile, the Fe content of the layer decreases by following sequence CFe(B=0)CFe(B//)CFe(^), resulting in the following sequence of coerciviy HC(B=0) HC (B//) HC (^). These results were explained based on the magnetohydronamic (MHD) effect caused by the Lorentz force () when magnetic field is superimposed

Synthesis and Investigation of the Physical Properties of Lead-Free BCZT Ceramics

This work presents the structure, microstructure, and physical properties of low sintering temperature lead-free ceramics 0.52(Ba0.7Ca0.3)TiO3-0.48Ba(Zr0.2Ti0.8)O3 doped with nano-sized ZnO particles (noted as BCZT/x, x is the content of ZnO nanoparticles in wt.%, x = 0.00, 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20, and 0.25). The obtained results of Raman scattering and dielectric measurements have confirmed that Zn2+ has occupied B-site, to cause a deformation in the ABO3-type lattice of the BCZT/x specimens. The 0.15 wt.% ZnO-modified ceramic sintered at 1350°C exhibited excellent piezoelectric parameters: d33 = 420 pC/N, d31 = −174 pC/N, kp = 0.483, kt = 0.423, and k33 = 0.571. The obtained results indicate that the high-quality lead-free BCZT ceramic could be successfully synthesized at a low sintering temperature of 1350°C with an addition of appropriated amount of ZnO nanoparticles. This work also reports the influence of the sintering temperature on structure, microstructure, and piezoelectric properties of BCZT/0.15 compound. By rising sintering temperature, the piezoelectric behaviors were improved and rose up to the best parameters at a sintering temperature of 1450°C (d33 = 576 pC/N and kp = 0.55). The corresponding properties of undoped BCZT ceramics were investigated as a comparison. It also presented that the sintering behavior and piezo-parameters of doped BCZT samples are better than the undoped BCZT samples at each sintering temperature

    Peptide aptamer-modified single-walled carbon nanotube-based transistors for high-performance biosensors

Biosensors employing single-walled carbon nanotube field-effect transistors (SWCNT FETs) offer ultimate sensitivity. However, besides the sensitivity, a high selectivity is critically important to distinguish the true signal from interference signals in a non-controlled environment. This work presents the first demonstration of the successful integration of a novel peptide aptamer with a liquid-gated SWCNT FET to achieve highly sensitive and specific detection of Cathepsin E (CatE), a useful prognostic biomarker for cancer diagnosis. Novel peptide aptamers that specifically recognize CatE are engineered by systemic in vitro evolution. The SWCNTs were firstly grown using the thermal chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method and then were employed as a channel to fabricate a SWCNT FET device. Next, the SWCNTs were functionalized by noncovalent immobilization of the peptide aptamer using 1-pyrenebutanoic acid succinimidyl ester (PBASE) linker. The resulting FET sensors exhibited a high selectivity (no response to bovine serum albumin and cathepsin K) and label-free detection of CatE at unprecedentedly low concentrations in both phosphate-buffered saline (2.3 pM) and human serum (0.23 nM). Our results highlight the use of peptide aptamer-modified SWCNT FET sensors as a promising platform for near-patient testing and point-of-care testing applications

Radicular cyst in a primary molar following pulp therapy with gutta percha : a case report and literature review

A radicular cyst (RC) in deciduous dentition is relatively rare. This clinical report presents a case of RC that condition derived from a primary molar undergone an endodontic treatment with gutta-percha approximately one year ago. In addition, we also considered whether intracanal medicaments and gutta-percha filling material related to the formation and development of the cyst or not
