    Get PDF
The financial strategy towards 2030 in Decision no. 368/QD-TTg enacted on 21/3/2022 by the Vietnam Prime Minister had set developmental goals for the stock market to become a channel to promote mid-and-long term capital raising for the economy, to continue changing the structure to be more appropriate for the monetary, the capital, the stock, and the bonds market. In the past two years, the stock market in Vietnam has manifested impressive growth. A prime example is the active growth of private investors. However, many challenges and loopholes still exist in the stock market. The stock market is a special market as the fluctuation of the VN-index index is affected by many factors including the expectations of the investor. When the market shows trends of increases in points then investors expect the next session to grow as well, leading to a rise in sales even for stocks with inflating costs, thus the VNindex will increase and vice versa. The structure of the econometric is utilized to assess the impacts of the VN-index of the previous month on the index of the following month on the Vietnamese stock market in the period from January 2019 to May 2022. The conclusion of the quantitative analysis shows that if the VN-index of the previous month increases by 1% then the VNindex of the following month will increase by 0.965% or vice versa. From the results of the analysis, the research team has proposed a few discussion points intending to stabilize the stock market in the upcoming time and develop the market according to the financial strategy towards 2030 in Decision no. 368/QD-TTg by the Vietnam Prime Ministe

FACTORS RELATED TO THE AWARENESS AND BEHAVIOR OF MARIJUANA USE AMONG UNIVERSITY STUDENTS IN CAPITAL HANOI, VIETNAM

Abstract The increasing use of addictive substances, especially marijuana, among university students has increased the burden of disease and social issues. However, the specific data about the prevalence and factors relating to marijuana use among university students is still limited. This study aims to provide the initial research literature about factors affecting the awareness and behavior of marijuana use among university students in Hanoi. The study employed two primary methods: a survey questionnaire and an in-depth interview with a sample of 324 diverse university students. According to research findings, students are generally uncertain about the effects of marijuana and take a neutral stance on its social acceptability. The overall prevalence of marijuana use among university students in Hanoi is 7.4%, of which the rate of use in males is 9.4% and in females is 4.1%. Marijuana use is also influenced by peers' behavior, and parents' false perception of their children's drug prevention capability and marijuana's accessibility may also play a factor

Active disturbance rejection control-based anti-coupling method for conical magnetic bearings

    Get PDF
Conical-shape magnetic bearings are currently a potential candidate for various magnetic force-supported applications due to their unique geometric nature reducing the number of required active magnets. However, the bearing structure places control-engineering related problems in view of underactuated and coupling phenomena. The paper proposes an Adaptive Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC) for solving the above-mentioned problem in the conical magnetic bearing. At first, virtual current controls are identified to decouple the electrical sub-system, then the active disturbance rejection control is employed to eliminate coupling effects owing to rotational motions. Comprehensive simulations are provided to illustrate the control ability

The Impact Of Entrepreneurial Competencies On Entrepreneurship Intention: The Case Among Business Students In Danang

    Get PDF
Many previous studies evaluated factors influencing entrepreneurial intention including psychological factors, social economic factors, family circumstance, etc. In contrast, there are very few studies examine the relationship between entrepreneurial competencies and entrepreneurial intention. Thus, this paper aim to identify the list of competencies that impact entrepreneurial intention among Southeast Asian students who influenced by Confucianism. The conceptual model was established based on the list of previous studies in this field with a sample size of 1000 students who study in University of Economics-The University of Danang. The main finding indicated that (i) from eleven independent variables listed from previous studies, only six independent variables remain; (ii) there are no evidences to prove that risk management and tenacity/ perseverance were associated with entrepreneurship intention. These results have important values in developing entrepreneurship training programs to promote students' entrepreneurial intention among Southeast Asian Countries

    Synthesis of antiulcer drug esomeprazole.

Esomeprazole (Nexium®), the (S)-isomer of Omeprazole, is the first proton-pump inhibitor developed as a single isomer for the treatment of acid-related diseases. It is used for the treatment of peptic ulcers, gastroesophagal reflux disease, and erosive esophagitis. Herein, we report our synthetic study of esomeprazole sodium salt from the starting    2-mercapto-5-methoxybenzimidazole and 2-(chloromethyl)-4-methoxy-3,5-dimethylpyridine hydrochloride reagents. The Esomeprazole sodium salt was obtained from enantioselectivesulfoxidation reaction in moderate yield with high enantioselectivity

Chronic scrotal heat stress causes testicular interstitial inflammation and fibrosis: An experimental study in mice

    Get PDF
Background: Chronic heat stress is a risk factor that adversely affects the reproduction system. Inflammation and fibrosis are 2 important response processes to damaged tissues. Objective: This study investigates the association of chronic scrotal heat stress with testicular interstitial inflammation and fibrosis in mice. Materials and Methods: For all experiments, 8-10 wk old male Swiss mice (Mus musculus) (20-23 gr) were divided into 3 groups (n = 10/each). The heat-stress groups were submerged in a water bath at 37°C and 40°C, while the control group was treated at 25°C. The testicular tissues underwent hematoxylin and eosin staining, picro sirius red staining, and immunohistochemistry for intercellular adhesion molecule-1, fibroblast-specific protein 1, F4/80, collagen I, and Ki-67 staining to determine the testicular interstitial inflammation and fibrosis. Results: Chronic scrotal heat stress impairs spermatogenesis and reverses testicular histological structure. In this study, heat stress significantly induced increased interstitial cell proliferation and upregulation of intercellular adhesion molecule-1 expression in the interstitial testicular tissue. In the interstitial testicular tissue, the number of F4/80-positive macrophages and the number of fibroblast-specific protein 1- positive fibroblasts were significantly increased in the heat-exposed groups compared to those in the control group. The heat exposed groups had substantially increased extracellular matrix collagen accumulation in their testicular interstitial tissues. Conclusion: Heat stress adversely affects the testicular structure and spermatogenesis, causes inflammation, and leads to testicular interstitial fibrosis. Key words: Heat stress, Testicular, Inflammation, Fibrosis

Numerical simulation of all-normal dispersion visible to near-infrared supercontinuum generation in photonic crystal fibers with core filled chloroform

    Get PDF
This study proposes a photonic crystal fiber made of fused silica glass, with the core infiltrated with chloroform as a new source of supercontinuum (SC) spectrum. We numerically study the guiding properties of the fiber structure in terms of characteristic dispersion and mode area of the fundamental mode. Based on the results, we optimized the structural geometries of the CHCl3-core photonic crystal fiber to support the broadband SC generations. The fiber structure with a lattice constant of 1 μm, a filling factor of 0.8, and the diameter of the first-ring air holes equaling 0.5 μm operates in all-normal dispersion. The SC with a broadened spectral bandwidth of 0.64 to 1.80 μm is formed by using a pump pulse with a wavelength of 850 nm, 120 fs duration, and power of 0.833 kW. That fiber would be a good candidate for all-fiber SC sources as cost-effective alternative to glass core fibers
