Determination of dynamic impact factor for continuous girder bridge due to vehicle braking force by finite element method and experimental
In this study, the finite element method (FEM) is used to investigate the dynamic response of continuous girder bridge due to moving three-axle vehicle . Vertical reaction forces of axles that change with time make bending vibration of girder significantly increase. The braking in the first span is able to create response in other spans. In addition, the dynamic impact factors are investigated by both FEM and experiment for Hoa Xuan bridge. The results of this study provide an improved understanding of the bridge dynamic behavior and can be used as additional references for bridge codes by practicing engineers
Farmers practices in organic and inorganic fertilization on crops, trees and vegetables
224pThis chapter provides the analysis and evaluation of compost utilization for agricultural production in Thai Binh province, Vietnam, as well as the database for simulating future possibilities of the usage of pig effluence through provincial orientations for livestock development up to 2010 in Thai Binh province. Requirement of organic fertilizer in agricultural production is major absorption banks of waste from livestock components and human ejection that includes rice-based system and annual crops, fruit trees and aquaculture system. Details of the capacity of absorption of each component which depends on soil characteristics, crops' demand, season cropping and farming management techniques by farmers, are provided. Field survey results clearly indicated that agriculture in Thai Binh has facing with the shortage of organic fertilizer and imbalance nutrient in production
ROBUST DYNAMIC ID-BASED REMOTE MUTUAL AUTHENTICATION SCHEME
Dynamic ID based authentication scheme is more and more important in insecure wireless environment and system. Two of kinds of attack that authentication schemes must resist are stealing identity and reflection attack which is a potential way of attacking a challenge- response authentication system using the same protocol in both directions. It must be guaranteed to prevent attackers from reusing information from authentication phase and the scheme of Yoon and Yoo satisfies those requirements. However, their scheme can not resist insider and impersonation attack by using lost or stolen smart card. In this paper, we demonstrate that Yoon and Yoo’s scheme is still vulnerable to those attacks. Then, we present an improvement to their scheme in order to isolate such problems
Composition of animal manure and co-products
224pThis study was conducted to determine the real outflow of liquid effluents to be considered in balance calculations at the farm and regional levels in Vietnamese conditions. The variability of the chemical composition of a local dataset was analysed considering the highly heterogeneous wastes and byproducts used on crops. Near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) was introduced to evaluate the feasibility of a rapid technique applied to animal wastes. Characterization of effluent outflows and water use and composition variation of solid co-products (compost and fish food) was carried out. Quantity of animal solid waste per pig head in the cold seasons was higher than in the hot season. Data collected from ten farms in Thai Binh (Vietnam), showed that the content of the main constituents in the fresh weight (FW) in the warm season was 17.3% OM total. Nitrogen, P2O5 and K2O totals were 160, 3.51 and 0.59%, respectively. Raising pigs in the cold season discharged 0.352kg N, 0.229 kg P2O5 and 0.148 kg K2O per metric ton live weight and he liquid part contributed 5.5, 2.1 and 12.8%, respectively. A total of 66 samples of compost and animal waste as fish feed were taken during summer, of which 46 were ready-to-spread compost, 20 others were animal excreta as fish feed. These results confirmed the fact that it is possible to use the animal waste source coming from the pig farms of Thai Binh province as a main nutrient for crops, especially for rice. After preliminary calibrations using NIRS spectrometry with local pig waste and co-products, perspectives are promising in terms of research and local development. A description of the design of the Chinese digester, more commonly called biogas digester and of the NIRS technique is provided
Oral Cancer: The State of the Art of Modern-Day Diagnosis and Treatment
Diagnosing and treating lesions of the mouth and gums is challenging for most clinicians because of the wide variety of disease processes that can present with similar appearing lesions and the fact that most clinicians receive inadequate training in mouth diseases. Oral cancer, a common lesion in oral cavity, is not correctly diagnosing a clinical picture of an early squamous cell carcinoma. The prevalence of oral cancer continues to rise worldwide, related to the increase in consumption of tobacco, alcohol and other carcinogenic products. However, there has also been a significant reduction in mortality due to increasing awareness, early diagnosis and advances in treatments. This chapter is an attempt to provide a comprehensive update encompassing the spectrum of etiologic/risk factors, current clinical diagnostic tools, management philosophies, and molecular biomarkers and progression indicators of oral cancer

MEASURES TO IMPROVE THE LEARNING QUALITY OF BASKETBALL SUBJECT FOR NON-SPECIALIZED STUDENTS AT BAC NINH SPORTS UNIVERSITY OF VIETNAM UNDER THE CREDIT-BASED TRAINING SYSTEM
In using conventional scientific research methods in the field of physical training and sports, we selected and built the content of 04 measures to improve the quality of teaching Basketball subject for non-specialized students of Bac Ninh Sport University of Viet Nam under the credit-based training system, at the same time test the theory on the feasibility of measures by an expert method. The result showed that the selected and built measures were feasible and could be applied in practice to improve the quality of teaching Basketball subject for non-specialized students at Bac Ninh Sport University of Viet Nam under the credit-based training system. Burden of diarrheal diseases from biogas wastewater exposure among smallholder farmers in Ha Nam province, Vietnam
Livestock production has developed rapidly in Vietnam in recent years, particularly at the small-scale which account for 65% of the total livestock production. Biogas systems are commonly used to treat livestock waste, however, the health risks from biogas wastewater exposure at smallholder farms are not yet well understood. A quantitative microbial risk assessment approach was applied to estimate the burden of diarrheal diseases from biogas wastewater exposure among 451 smallholder farmers using biogas systems in Ha Nam province. A total of 150 biogas wastewater samples were collected and analysed for E. coli, Giardia, and Cryptosporidium. The study showed that farmers faced diarrheal disease risks due to exposure to biogas wastewater at different exposure scenarios. The calculated annual risk of diarrheal disease by E. coli ranked from 0.15 to 0.21; by Giardia ranked from 0.022 to 0.095; and by Cryptosporidium ranked from 0.006 to 0.015. The estimated diarrheal diseases burden from pathogens in all exposure scenarios largely exceeded the reference level of health outcome target of 10-6DALYs loss per person per year recommended by WHO. The results suggest the importance in reducing concentrations of pathogens in biogas wastewater before use in the fields as a means for mitigating public health impacts
