Bu branşta 10 yıllık spor yaşı olan, beden eğitimi ve spor yükseköğrenimi gören sporcuların bu teknikleri uygulamaları video ile kayıt edilerek tekniğe giriş, uygulama ve bitirişten oluşan üç fazının tanımlanması ile, bu branşın teknik eğitim metodolojisine katkı sağlanma amaçlandı. Bu amaçla yaşları 19 – 22 arasında değişen 2008–2009 eğitim-öğretim döneminde badminton dersini alan tüm öğrenciler (n=12) ile aynı sınıfta olup, badminton dersi almayan (n=16), toplam 28 erkek öğrencinin bazı biyolojik (yaş, boy, kilo) ve biyomotor özelliklerinin (sürat, dikey sıçrama, adım alma, hamle, durarak uzun atlama) değerleri alınarak elde edilen veriler karşılaştırılmıştır.The aim of this study is comparative assessment of rapidness of male students who took up Badminton course, with the group who didn’t take up badminton course and the determination of the reasons of possible differences between the two groups at Physical Education and Sport Academy.     EXAMINATION OF SOCIAL MEDIA USING INDIVIDUALS’ RECREATION TENDENCIES

    Nowadays, there has been an increasing count of actively social media using individuals. This new kind of media which is used by most of the population can generate an impact on users’ tendencies. Recreation activities increase individuals’ quality of life and provide them some physical, social, and psychological benefits. Individual’s participation to these recreation activities facilitate development primarily to the participant himself and then to the society. In this context, this study is an examination of active recreation tendencies on social media using individuals. It was conducted with 379 participants who studies at Higher Education in Sports. In order to measure social media users’ active recreation tendencies, a questionnaire based on the Recreational Exercise Motivation Measure which has the reliability and validity of Turkish version made by Gurbuz, Asci and Celebi (2006) and originally developed by Rogers and Morris (2003) and the Facebook Intensity Scale developed by Ellison, Steinfield and Lampe (2010) were prepared and used. According to Cronbach Alpha (α=0,878) the questionnaire found reliable. In order to analyze the results besides descriptive statistics of socio-demographics, the questionnaire was factor analyzed and three dimensions as physical, social and psychological tendency are obtained.     Examinatıon Of Mindfulness-Based Self-Efficacy Of Students Studying In Sports Sciences

    In this study, it was aimed to examine the mindfulness-based self-efficacy levels of undergraduate students studying in sports sciences in terms of various variables. The sample of the research consists of undergraduate students studying at the faculty of sports sciences at Trakya University and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, which were selected by convenience sampling method. The Conscious Awareness-Based Self-Efficacy Scale-Revised (SPS-A) developed by (Cayoun et al., 2012) and adapted into Turkish (Atalay et al., 2017) was used as a data collection tool in the research. The statistical information of the participants was evaluated by using the descriptive survey method in the study. Skewness and Kurtosis values were evaluated statistically by Normal Distribution test analysis. First of all, by looking at the Cronbach Alpha values of the scale, after the validity and reliability analysis, the skewness and kurtosis values of the obtained data were examined and the hypotheses of the socio-demographic variables were tested. Regular exercise status of students studying in sports sciences, taking part in sports organizations organized by university federations, having a licensed athlete for at least three years, according to the exam score taken as a basis for university application, according to the university success score, according to the frequency of participating in recreational activities, It was tested statistically according to the status of working in any job, university, department and class, and no significant difference was found in mindfulness-based self-efficacy, while a significant difference was obtained according to the gender variable. The result of Mann Whitney-U Test was obtained that male undergraduate students studying in sports sciences participating in the research had higher mindfulnessbased self-efficacy levels than females (P: 009<0.05)

    Basketball is a sport in which physical characteristics give significant advantages to the player, the cognitive functions such as game intelligence, instinct and perception as virtues having vital importance in team play make distinction between the players, and different tactical strategies are used during the matches. . The purpose of our study is to determine the relation between skill levels and some physical parameters and the multi-intelligence domains of the basketball players, and also to compared the basketball specific skill levels and multi-intelligence domains according to their socio-economic levels. 42 basketball players with mean age of 13,71±0,82 year and the mean sporting experience of 4,21±1,52 year participated the study voluntarily. Anthropometric measurements of the sportsmen were conducted (body weight, height) and their Body Mass Indices (BMI) were calculated. . In determination of the multi intelligent domains, “Self Assessment Inventory at Multiple Intelligence Domains” was used. The questionnaire prepared by the researcher was applied on the basketball players to determine the socio-economic levels. In determination of basketball specific skills, Johnson Basketball Skill test was used. As a positive weak relation was determined between the age and sport experience of the players and the basketball-specific skill level (r: 0,303, r: 0,308, p&lt;0.05, respectively), a positive weak relation was determined between the skill level and the musical intelligence (r: 0,331; p&lt;0,05).  A significant difference was found in favor of the individuals who did sports in the family in terms of social intelligence score (p&lt;0,05). Consequently, it may be stated that age and sport experience has not high effect on the skill level. The effect of the musical / rhythmic intelligence on the skill of the weak may be due to the skill-required movements being performed in a certain rhythm. Sports contributes to the socialization process by providing to improve social skills such as communication, responsibility, empathy, cooperation and sharing. It can be evidence that the social intelligence levels of children who played sports in their family are high.Extended English abstract is in the end of Full Text PDF (TURKISH) file. ÖzetBasketbol, fiziksel özelliklerin ön plana çıkarak sporcuya avantaj sağladığı, takım oyunu içerisinde çok önemli etkiye sahip olan oyun zekası, sezgi, algılama gibi kognitif fonksiyonların sporcular arasında farklılık yarattığı ve müsabaka esnasında farklı taktiksel stratejilerin uygulandığı bir spordur. Çalışmanın öncelikli amacı basketbolcuların beceri düzeyleri ile bazı fiziksel özellikleri ve çoklu zeka alanları arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi sonraki amacı ise sosyo-ekonomik düzeylerine göre basketbola özgü beceri düzeylerinin ve çoklu zeka alanlarının karşılaştırılmasıdır. Yaş ortalaması 13,71±0,82 yıl, spor yaşı ortalaması 4,21±1,52 yıl olan 42 basketbolcu çalışmamıza gönüllü olarak katılmıştır.Basketbolcuların fiziksel ölçümleri (vücut ağırlığı, boy uzunluğu) alınarak, beden kitle indeksleri (BKİ) değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Çoklu zeka alanlarının belirlenmesinde “Çoklu Zekâ Alanlarında Kendilerini Değerlendirme Envanteri” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan anket formu sosyo-ekonomik düzeylerinin belirlenmesinde kullanılmıştır. Basketbola özgü beceri düzeylerinin tespit edilmesinde ise Johnson Basketbol Beceri Testi kullanılmıştır. Spor yaşı ile basketbola özgü beceri arasında pozitif yönde zayıf bir ilişki tespit edilirken (r: 0,308; p&lt;0,05), beceri düzeyi ile müzik zekası arasında da pozitif yönde zayıf bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir (r: 0,331; p&lt;0,05).  Ailesinde spor yapmış/yapmamış bireylere göre çoklu zeka alanlarının karşılaştırılmasında sosyal zeka puanı açısından ailesinde spor yapmış bireylerin lehine anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir (p&lt;0,05).Sonuç olarak, spor yaşının beceri düzeyi üzerindeki etkisinin yüksek olmadığı söylenebilir. Müziksel/ritmik zekanın basketbol becerisine zayıfta olsa etkisinin olması, beceri gerektiren hareketlerin belirli bir ritm eşliğinde yapılmasından kaynaklanabilir. Spor iletişim, sorumluluk, iş birliği, empati kurma, yardımlaşma, paylaşma gibi toplumsal özelliklerin gelişmesini sağlayarak sosyalleşme sürecine katkı sağlar ki ailesinde spor yapmış bireylerin çocuklarının sosyal zeka düzeylerinin yüksek olması bunun kanıtı olabilir

    Comparıson of the men and women athletes motivatıon levels involved ın Turkey basketball leagues

    Bu araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye Basketbol Liglerinde oynayan erkek ve kadın sporcuların cinsiyet, yaş ve oynadıkları ligler arasındaki motivasyon düzeyleri açısından karşılaştırılmasıdır. Araştırmaya, Türkiye Basketbol Liglerinde oynayan 53 kadın, 78 erkek sporcu katılmış olup, “Spora Özgü Başarı Motivasyonu Ölçeği” (Willis, 1982) Google Drive üzerinden online ankete dönüştürülerek katılımcılara internet üzerinden uygulanmıştır. Araştırmaya 18-23 yaş arasında 58 sporcu, 24-29 yaş arasında 49 sporcu ve 30-35 yaş arasında 21 sporcu katılmıştır. Oynadıkları liglere göre ise, BSL’de oynayan 39, KBSL’de oynayan 12, TBL’de oynayan 18, TKBL’de oynayan 16, TB2L’de oynayan 18, KBBL’de oynayan 25 sporcu katılmıştır. Çalışmaya katılanlardan elde edilen veriler, SPSS 21.0 paket programda “Mann Whitney U” testi, “t” testi, “Independent Simples” testi, “Kruskal Wallis” testi, “Anova” testi ve “Bonferroni” testi kullanılarak değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. İstatistiksel olarak anlamlılık için bazı verilerde (p>0,05) anlamlılık düzeyi seçilirken bazı verilerde ise (p>0,0083) anlamlılık düzeyi seçilmiştir. Farlılıkları belirlemek üzere ölçekteki güç gösterme güdüsü, başarıya yaklaşma güdüsü ve başarısızlıktan kaçınma güdüsünden elde edilen verilerle karşılaştırmalar yapılmıştır. Değerlendirmeler sonucunda hiçbir veride güç gösterme güdüsünde anlamlı fark bulunmamıştır (p>0,05, p>0,0083). Bazı verilerde başarıya yaklaşma güdüsü açısından (p<0,05, p<0,0083), bazı verilerde ise başarısızlıktan kaçınma güdüsünde anlamlı fark bulunmuştur (p<0,05, p<0,0083).purpose of this research is to determine whether there is a difference in terms of motivation levels male and female athletes of gender, age and between the played leagues in the playing Turkish Basketball Leagues. Research, Turkey Basketball League playing in 53 female and 75 male athletes participated, "Sport-Specific Achievement Motivation Scale" (Wills, 1982) converted into an online survey via Google Drive and applied over the internet. In the study, 58 athletes between 18-23 years old, 49 between 24-29 years old and 21 between 30-35 years old participated. According to the league they play, Basketball Super League playing in the 39, Women's Basketball Super League playing in the 12, Turkey Basketball League playing in the 18, Turkey Women Basketball League playing in the 16, Turkey Basketball Second League playing in the 18, Women Regional Basketball League playing in the 25 athletes participated. The data obtained from the participants were evaluated using the "Mann Whitney U" test, "t" test, "Independent Simples" test, "Kruskal Wallis" test, "Anova" test and "Bonferroni" test in SPSS 21.0 package program. While the significance level (p> 0.05) was selected for some data for statistical significance, the level of significance (p> 0.0083) was selected by using the "bonferroni" test for some data. To identify differences, comparisons were made with data from the scale's power of motive (POW), motive to approach success (MAS) and motive to avoid failure (MAF). As a result of the evaluations, no significant difference was found in the motivation to show power (POW) in any data (p> 0.05, p> 0.0083). A significant difference was found in terms of the motive to approach success (MAS) in some data, and in the motive to avoid failure (MAF) in some data (p <0.05, p <0.0083)
