    Requirements for developing ethical leaderships in Vietnam

    Challenges associated with leadership practices are rapidly increasing, thereby assigning more qualities to leaders. One of the recent theoretical issues that interest many scholars is ethical leadership development, using industrial revolution 4.0. This method does not only follow the traditional leadership styles, rather it is associated with universal qualities such as respect, service, fairness, honesty, and responsibility. For communities, increasing assertions is one of the essential foundations used to help leaders influence their subordinates' actions. This means that ethical leadership is the motto of the spirit of service leadership, especially for Vietnam leaders, a country with a strong transformation from a planned economy to a socialist-oriented market. Therefore, leadership values need to be adjusted, supplemented, and developed to keep up with the Industrial Revolution's requirements 4.0

    Optimization of technological parameters in ultrasonic welding of the polypropylene fabric using Taguchi and FCCCD methods

    Ultrasonic welding is a welding method that has been applied for welding nonwoven fabrics, with many advantages such as fast speed, high reliability, easy automation and especially less pollution to the environment. This paper studies the optimization of technological parameters in the welding process such as welding time, pressure, and weld shape on the breaking strength of ultrasonic welding of Polypropylene (PP) nonwovens. To evaluate the influence level and find the reasonable technological parameters domain in the paper, the Taguchi method is used in combination with the face-centered central composite design (FCCCD) response surface method. The research results have determined the regression equations used to calculate the breaking strength for each weld shape as well as the optimal domain for the main technological parameters, ensuring the breaking strength of the weld. There are different degrees of influence of technological parameters (shape of the weld zone, welding time and welding pressure) on the breaking strength of ultrasonic welds. Among them, the influence level of welding time t is 45.31 %, the weld shape is Pattern 2 with the rate of 30.03 %, and the welding pressure is 24.66 %. Carrying out a verification test with the welding parameters: t=1.6 s, p=3.1 kgf/cm2, two patterns ( Pattern 2 and Pattern 3), the result of breaking strength for patterns was achieved. Pattern 2 has a difference of 1.19 % between the regression equation results and the actual experimental results, while the figure for Pattern 3 is 0.77 %. From these results, it is possible to select the appropriate technological parameters for ultrasonic welding equipment when processing products from nonwoven fabrics to ensure the highest quality and productivit

    Economic performance of Vietnam, 1976-2000: New evidence from input-output model

    This study provides a concise introduction to the economic history of Vietnam from 1976 to present. We identify different phases of the development of the Vietnamese economy, from its unification after a Vietnam war to the current phases of the transition (1989-2000) and propose a specific pattern of transition in the case of Vietnam. This research is the first attempt to make a synthesis quantitative analysis of socio-economic aggregate data during different phases of the Vietnamese economy in 1986-2000, in which different national input-output tables (1989, 1996 and 2000) in constant prices have been employed. The economic performances are investigated from three aspects: (i) evolution of domestic final demand; (ii) evolution of international trade structure and (iii) the technological change. The analysis shows economic history of Vietnam from 1986 up to present as a continuous evolutionary process and integration in to the international market is inevitable.     Multi parametric model predictive control based on laguerre model for permanent magnet linear synchronous motors

    The permanent magnet linear motors are widely used in various industrial applications due to its advantages in comparisons with rotary motors such as mechanical durability and directly creating linear motions without gears or belts. The main difficulties of its control design are that the control performances include the tracking of position and velocity as well as guarantee limitations of the voltage control and its variation. In this work, a cascade control strategy including an inner and an outer loop is applied to synchronous linear motor. Particularly, an offline MPC controller based on MPP method and Laguerre model was proposed for inner loop and the outer controller was designed with the aid of nonlinear damping method. The numerical simulation was implemented to validate performance of the proposed controller under voltage input constraints

    Direct and ultrafast probing of quantum many-body interactions through coherent two-dimensional spectroscopy: From weak- to strong-interaction regimes

    Interactions between particles in quantum many-body systems play a crucial role in determining the electric, magnetic, optical, and thermal properties of the system. The recent progress in the laser-pulse technique has enabled the manipulations and measurements of physical properties on ultrafast timescales. Here we propose a method for the direct and ultrafast probing of quantum many-body interaction through coherent two-dimensional (2D) spectroscopy. Using a two-band fermionic Hubbard model for the minimum two-site lattice system, we find that the 2D spectrum of a noninteracting system contains only diagonal peaks; the interparticle interaction manifests itself in the emergence of off-diagonal peaks in the 2D spectrum before all the peaks coalesce into a single diagonal peak as the system approaches the strongly interacting limit. The evolution of the 2D spectrum as a function of the time delay between the second and third laser pulses can provide important information on the ultrafast time variation of the interaction
