In 1250, pope Inocencio IV put up the bishopric of Cartagena-Murcia at the request of the king Fernando III and their son, Alfonso. Their first location had been the city of Cartagena, although in 1289 it was transferred to Murcia, after the granted bull of Nicolas IV. The number of members of the ecclesiastic chapter changed a little from the Xlllth century till the XVIth century. The beneficiaries that should reside in the choir for the Cathedral's high altar service and ministry were 62. The ecclesiastic chapter had to act as the head of the diocese in the periods of vacant bishopric.[fr] En 1250, le pape Inocencio IV érige le diocèse de Cartagena-Murcia à demande du roi Fernando III et de son fils Alfonso. Stability of Vacancy Loops close to Surfaces in α-Fe from Molecular Dynamics Simulations

    Get PDF
Molecular dynamics simulations to study the stability of vacancy clusters as a function of its distance and orientation with respect to the free surfaces are performed. Results show they are able to migrate to the free surfaces and recombine with it. Time for the absortion of the cluster by the free surfaces as a function of the temperature is calculated in order to obtain the migration energy activation

The Effect of Cr Concentration on Defect Energies in FeCr Alloys

FeCr ferritic alloys are leading candidates for structural applications in generation IV fission reactors due to their high resistance to swelling and corrosion. The addition of Cr improves the behavior of the steels under irradiation, but this improvement is non-monotonic. Understandig the changes in the FeCr ferritic alloys microstructure induced by irradiation and the role played by the alloying element (Cr) is needed in order to predict the response of these materials under the extreme conditions in the future nuclear plants. In this work, we present the effect of Cr concentration in a bcc Fe matrix on binding and formation energies of vacancy clusters

El modelo competencial del futuro estatuto de autonomía para Andalucía

    Get PDF

Deffect energetics in FeCr from empirical interatomic potentials

We present a comparative study between two empirical potentials for the study of FeCr alloys. Vacancy, self- and mixed interstitials formation energies are investigated for both potentials in pure bcc Fe and pure bcc Cr. These results are compared to DFT values reported in literature. Some small Cr clusters in substitutional positions have also been studied in bcc Fe. Finally we have performed some calculations of the vacancy formation energy (Ev) depending on Cr concentration

In this research two fragments of the cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COX1) gene of the mitochondrial DNA were analyzed in 61 individuals of the genus Rhynchophorus collected in the Region of Murcia with the aim of determining their origin. Phylogenetic analysis of fragment 1 of the samples collected in the Region of Murcia together with the available sequences in GenBank, indicated that these individuals correspond to the species Rhynchophorus ferrugineus. Sequences from Murcia collapsed into the H8 Mediterranean haplotype, which cluster into the R. ferrugineus clade. Phylogeographic analysis shows that the origin of the individuals collected in the Region of Murcia is Egypt. Additionally, a contiguous fragment of COX1 (fragment 2) was analyzed and the sequences collapsed into two haplotypes.

He production and induced swelling in KOYO-F

From preliminary results[1] of neutron fluxes and energy spectra obtained for the vacuum vessel of the Fast Ignition Fusion Reactor KOYO-F, the distribution of Primary Knock-on Atoms (PKA), necessary to quantify defect production, has been calculated. In the presence of He these defects could induce swelling through nucleation of voids and bubbles. Kinetic Monte Carlo models are being developed to predict the evolution of these defects in different metals. As a first study we have focused on He in Ni, since there are systematic experimental results available

Transcriptomic analysis of Citrus clementina mandarin fruits maturation reveals a MADS-box transcription factor that might be involved in the regulation of earliness

Background: Harvest time is a relevant economic trait in citrus, and selection of cultivars with different fruit maturity periods has a remarkable impact in the market share. Generation of early- and late-maturing cultivars is an important target for citrus breeders, therefore, generation of knowledge regarding the genetic mechanisms controlling the ripening process and causing the early and late phenotypes is crucial. In this work we analyze the evolution of the transcriptome during fruit ripening in 3 sport mutations derived from the Fina clementine (Citrus clementina) mandarin: Clemenules (CLE), Arrufatina (ARR) and Hernandina (HER) that differ in their harvesting periods. CLE is considered a mid-season cultivar while ARR and HER are early- and late-ripening mutants, respectively. Results: We used RNA-Seq technology to carry out a time course analysis of the transcriptome of the 3 mutations along the ripening period. The results indicated that in these mutants, earliness and lateness during fruit ripening correlated with the advancement or delay in the expression of a set of genes that may be implicated in the maturation process. A detailed analysis of the transcription factors known to be involved in the regulation of fruit ripening identified a member of the MADS box family whose expression was lower in ARR, the early-ripening mutant, and higher in HER, the late-ripening mutant. The pattern of expression of this gene during the maturation period was basically contrary to those of the ethylene biosynthetic genes, SAM and ACC synthases and ACC oxidase. The gene was present in hemizygous dose in the early-ripening mutant. Conclusions: Our analysis provides new clues about the genetic control of fruit ripening in citrus and allowed the identification of a transcription factor that could be involved in the early phenotype.Financial support was provided by the Instituto Nacional de Investigación y Tecnología Agraria y Alimentaria, INIA, (Ministerio de Economía, Industria y Competitividad e Innovación, Spain) trough grant # RTA-00071-C06–01

The Importance of the Interaction Radius Between Cr and Self-interstitial Fe in Object Kinetic Monte Carlo Calculations of Irradiated FeCr Diluted Alloys

    Get PDF
We have studied electron irradiation and annealing of FeCr alloys in the dilute limit ( less than 1% Cr) using Object kinetic Monte Carlo (OKMC) with input from density functional theory calculations and empirical potentials. The results are compared to experimental measurements of electric resistivity for different Cr concentrations. We analyse the dependence of Cr on the first two observed peaks: ID2 and IE and the influence of parameters such as the interaction radius between Cr and an Fe self-interstitial
