    CREATION OF MODERN RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS IN RURAL AREAS OF UZBEKISTAN

    On the base of the 1687- numbered Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan on January 14, 2012 "Construction projects of building Exemplary houses in rural areas in 2012", there identified to build 870 housing units in 22 districts of Kashkadarya region.2 In this year, new decisions of Kashkadarya governor were adopted for selecting contractor organizations to construct new housings on this exemplary project. According to this decision, the content of tender commission was approved for each district for selecting contracting companies having work experience and potential in organizing given tasks systematically. Because there made a number of shortcomings in the area of quality control at the construction of the houses which were built on standard projects in 2011.     Obtaining of strong chromium pellets with the use of a ferrosilicon-calcium binder

    The article presents the results of research on the synthesis of strong chrome pellets based on concentrates obtained by enrichment of chrome sludge. To obtain strong fired pellets from the concentrates, it is proposed to use a ferrosilico- calcium reagent as a binder, which makes it possible to increase the strength of the pellets by 2-3 times in comparison with the technology operating at “Donskoy Ore Mining and Processing Plant”. This excludes the supply of fluxing reagents during electric arc smelting of raw materials to high-carbon ferrochrome. Pellets from concentrates obtained during the processing of tailings from the Dubersay sludge storage have increased strength up to 5 330 N/pellet at a roasting temperature of 1 200 °C

    Preparation of pellets from manganese concentrate for the production of ferromanganese

    The results of studies on the production of pellets for the metallurgical stage based on manganese concentrate with a manganese content of 34 %, obtained from waste manganese-containing sludge, are presented. Kaolin and highiron diatomite in combination with calcium oxide and coke were tested as binder components of charges. Manganese- containing pellets were produced by composition pelletizing in a Eirich high-speed mixer-granulator. The size of pellets in the form of rounded granules was in the range of 5 - 10 mm. Sintering roasting temperature of pellets was 1150 - 1200°C. Strength of roasted pellets was 1 313 with kaolin as binder, 1 940 with diatomite, and diatomite with lime addition – 2058 N/pellet respectively
