The article shows the essence of environmental protection costs, related to the environmental protection of a number of construction companies, as well as the need to form and implement an effective environmental strategy. The article examines the approaches of management accounting to the value and quantitative assessment of environmental protection costs. A cost management mechanism has been developed in the framework of the “business – process – function” categories, based on the acquisition of certain functions by costs at the intersection of functions and business processes, including the conditions necessary for accounting: accuracy, efficiency and quality of accounting data. The developed methodology for the functional and process accounting of environmental protection costs makes it possible to identify the costs by processes and functional blocks and ensure the creation of high-quality accounting information on the formation of environmental protection costs and their results.El artículo muestra la esencia de los costos de protección ambiental, relacionados con la protección ambiental de varias compañías de construcción, así como la necesidad de formar e implementar una estrategia ambiental efectiva. Criterion of unitary similarity for upper triangular matrices in general position
Each square complex matrix is unitarily similar to an upper triangular matrix
with diagonal entries in any prescribed order. Let A and B be upper triangular
n-by-n matrices that (i) are not similar to direct sums of matrices of smaller
sizes, or (ii) are in general position and have the same main diagonal. We
prove that A and B are unitarily similar if and only if ||h(A_k)||=||h(B_k)||
for all complex polynomials h(x) and k=1, 2, . . , n, where A_k and B_k are the
principal k-by-k submatrices of A and B, and ||M|| is the Frobenius norm of M.Comment: 16 page
Holographic recording in a photopolymer by optically induced detachment of chromophores
We demonstrate holographic recording in a new photopolymer system. The recording material is created by copolymerization of an optically inert monomer, methyl methacrylate, and a second monomer that is optically sensitive. On exposure of the recording material to light, a portion of the optically sensitive component detaches from the polymer matrix and causes hologram amplification through diffusion of the free molecules. We measured postrecording grating amplifications as high as 170% by this process. The recorded holograms are persistent at room temperature under continuous illumination at the recording wavelength
Misregulation of the IgH Locus in Thymocytes
Functional antigen receptor genes are assembled by somatic rearrangements that are largely lymphocyte lineage specific. The immunoglobulin heavy chain (IgH) gene locus is unique amongst the seven antigen receptor loci in undergoing partial gene rearrangements in the wrong lineage. Here we demonstrate that breakdown of lineage-specificity is associated with inappropriate activation of the Eμ enhancer during T cell development by a different constellation of transcription factors than those used in developing B cells. This is reflected in reduced enhancer-induced epigenetic changes, eRNAs, formation of the RAG1/2-rich recombination center, attenuated chromatin looping and markedly different utilization of DH gene segments in CD4+CD8+ (DP) thymocytes. Additionally, CTCF-dependent VH locus compaction is disrupted in DP cells despite comparable transcription factor binding in both lineages. These observations identify multiple mechanisms that contribute to lineage-specific antigen receptor gene assembly
Switching ion binding selectivity of thiacalix[4]arene monocrowns at liquid–liquid and 2D-confined interfaces
Understanding the interaction of ions with organic receptors in confined space is of fundamental importance and could advance nanoelectronics and sensor design. In this work, metal ion complexation of conformationally varied thiacalix[4]monocrowns bearing lower-rim hydroxy (type I), dodecyloxy (type II), or methoxy (type III) fragments was evaluated. At the liquid–liquid interface, alkylated thiacalixcrowns-5(6) selectively extract alkali metal ions according to the induced-fit concept, whereas crown-4 receptors were ineffective due to distortion of the crown-ether cavity, as predicted by quantum-chemical calculations. In type-I ligands, alkali-metal ion extraction by the solvent-accessible crown-ether cavity was prevented, which resulted in competitive Ag+ extraction by sulfide bridges. Surprisingly, amphiphilic type-I/II conjugates moderately extracted other metal ions, which was attributed to calixarene aggregation in salt aqueous phase and supported by dynamic light scattering measurements. Cation–monolayer interactions at the air–water interface were monitored by surface pressure/potential measurements and UV/visible reflection–absorption spectroscopy. Topology-varied selectivity was evidenced, towards Sr2+ (crown-4), K+ (crown-5), and Ag+ (crown-6) in type-I receptors and Na+ (crown-4), Ca2+ (crown-5), and Cs+ (crown-6) in type-II receptors. Nuclear magnetic resonance and electronic absorption spectroscopy revealed exocyclic coordination in type-I ligands and cation–π interactions in type-II ligands
Selective interactions of boundaries with upstream region of Abd-B promoter in Drosophila bithorax complex and role of dCTCF in this process
Expression of the genes Ubx, abd-A, and Abd-B of the bithorax complex depends on its cis-regulatory region, which is divided into discrete functional domains (iab). Boundary/insulator elements, named Mcp, Fab-6, Fab-7 and Fab-8 (PTS/F8), have been identified at the borders of the iab domains. Recently, binding sites for a Drosophila homolog of the vertebrate insulator protein CTCF have been identified in Mcp, Fab-6 and Fab-8 and also in several regions that correspond to predicted boundaries, Fab-3 and Fab-4 in particular. Taking into account the inability of the yeast GAL4 activator to stimulate the white promoter when the activator and the promoter are separated by a 5-kb yellow gene, we have tested functional interactions between the boundaries. The results show that all dCTCF-containing boundaries interact with each other. However, inactivation of dCTCF binding sites in Mcp, Fab-6 and PTS/F8 only partially reduces their ability to interact, suggesting the presence of additional protein(s) supporting distant interactions between the boundaries. Interestingly, only Fab-6, Fab-7 (which contains no dCTCF binding sites) and PTS/F8 interact with the upstream region of the Abd-B promoter. Thus, the boundaries might be involved in supporting the specific interactions between iab enhancers and promoters of the bithorax complex
