Test for symmetry in 2×22 \times 2 contingency tables with nonignorable nonresponses

The McNemar test evaluates the hypothesis that two correlated proportion is common in 2×22 \times 2 contingency tables with the same categories. This study discusses a test for symmetry in 2×22 \times 2 contingency tables with nonignorable nonresponses. The proposed method is based on Takai and Kano (2008), which discusses a test for independence because a dependency assumption between the two observed outcomes is required to obtain an identification. Here, we focus on three models and propose a test for symmetry in 2×22 \times 2 contingency tables with nonignorable nonresponses.Comment: 20 page

This paper aims at examining the use of the word race and its activation as a concept through the conceptualization of the “French”. The analysis is based on a corpus of political debates on naturalization and immigration conducted between 1981 and 2012 at the French National Assembly. The results of the research show a twofold evolution of racialization forms: on the one hand from the classical racism to the cultural and civic “racism without races”, and on the other hand from a racism based on a majority/minority relation to a racism based on the incompatibility with the particularities of the dominant group. We conclude questioning the scope of these two concepts: racism and racialization.

Extended asymmetry model based on logit transformation and decomposition of symmetry for square contingency tables with ordered categories

The issues of symmetry (or asymmetry) arises naturally for the analysis of square contingency tables. Many existing asymmetry models do not have the constraints on the main diagonal cells. Thus, the observations on the main diagonal cells do not contribute to the likelihood ratio chi-squared test statistics. Herein we propose a model that indicates the asymmetry for the log odds.It can utilize the information in the main diagonal cells. Also, the symmetry model is separated into some models including the proposed model
