    Kecamatan Banyuates, Kabupaten Sampang, memiliki kawasan wisata pantai Nepa, yang terdiri dari 6 potensi wisata di 3 desa, yakni wisata alam pantai Nepa, wisata alam hutan kera Nepa, makam petilasan Raden Segoro, wisata arung laut, wisata budaya Rokat Tase', dan wisata buatan waduk Nipah, di Desa Batioh, Desa Nepa, dan Desa Montor. Penelitian deskriptif ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif, yang digunakan untuk mencapai sasaran pertama analisis potensi wisata, sasaran kedua analisis preferensi pengunjung, hingga sasaran terakhir merumuskan arahan pengembangan kawasan wisata pantai Nepa berdasarkan preferensi pengunjung. Rumusan arahan pengembangan kawasan tersebut menghasilkan arahan pengembangan berupa penyediaan, perbaikan, pemeliharaan, dan peningkatan akses prasarana dan sarana pariwisata, peningkatan kesadaran terhadap kelestarian lingkungan dan sikap masyarakat terhadap pengunjung dengan nilai-nilai sapta pesona, penambahan jenis atraksi wisata, penyediaan akomodasi, peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat, dan promosi kawasan, untuk setiap potensi wisata

    This paper discusses the evolution of the correlation between galaxy star formation rates (SFRs) and stellar mass (M*) over the last ∌10 Gyr, particularly focusing on its environmental dependence. We first present the mid-infrared (MIR) properties of the Hα-selected galaxies in a rich cluster Cl 0939+4713 at z = 0.4. We use wide-field Spitzer/MIPS 24 Όm data to show that the optically red Hα emitters, which are most prevalent in group-scale environments, tend to have higher SFRs and higher dust extinction than the majority population of blue Hα sources. With an MIR stacking analysis, we find that the median SFR of Hα emitters is higher in higher density environment at z = 0.4. We also find that star-forming galaxies in high-density environment tend to have higher specific SFR (SSFR), although the trend is much less significant compared to that of SFR. This increase of SSFR in high-density environment is not visible when we consider the SFR derived from Hα alone, suggesting that the dust attenuation in galaxies depends on environment; galaxies in high-density environment tend to be dustier (by up to ∌0.5 mag), probably reflecting a higher fraction of nucleated, dusty starbursts in higher density environments at z = 0.4. We then discuss the environmental dependence of the SFR–M* relation for star-forming galaxies since z ∌ 2, by compiling our comparable, narrow-band-selected, large Hα emitter samples in both distant cluster environments and field environments. We find that the SSFR of Hα-selected galaxies (at the fixed mass of log (M*/M⊙) = 10) rapidly evolves as (1 + z)3, but the SFR–M* relation is independent of the environment since z ∌ 2, as far as we rely on the Hα-based SFRs (with M*-dependent extinction correction). Even if we consider the possible environmental variation in the dust attenuation, we conclude that the difference in the SFR–M* relation between cluster and field star-forming galaxies is always small (â‰Č0.2 dex level) at any time in the history of the Universe since z ∌ 2

    One-particle eigenstates and eigenvalues of two-dimensional electrons in the strong magnetic field with short range impurity and impurities, cosine potential, boundary potential, and periodic array of short range potentials are obtained by magnetic von-Neumann lattice in which Landau level wave functions have minimum spatial extensions. We find that there is a dual correspondence between cosine potential and lattice kinetic term and that the representation based on the von-Neumann lattice is quite useful for solving the system's dynamics.Comment: 21pages, figures not included, EPHOU-94-00

    COLDz: Karl G. Jansky Very Large Array discovery of a gas-rich galaxy in COSMOS

    The broad spectral bandwidth at mm and cm-wavelengths provided by the recent upgrades to the Karl G. Jansky Very Large Array (VLA) has made it possible to conduct unbiased searches for molecular CO line emission at redshifts, z > 1.31. We present the discovery of a gas-rich, star-forming galaxy at z = 2.48, through the detection of CO(1-0) line emission in the COLDz survey, through a sensitive, Ka-band (31 to 39 GHz) VLA survey of a 6.5 square arcminute region of the COSMOS field. We argue that the broad line (FWHM ~570 +/- 80 km/s) is most likely to be CO(1-0) at z=2.48, as the integrated emission is spatially coincident with an infrared-detected galaxy with a photometric redshift estimate of z = 3.2 +/- 0.4. The CO(1-0) line luminosity is L'_CO = (2.2 +/- 0.3) x 10^{10} K km/s pc^2, suggesting a cold molecular gas mass of M_gas ~ (2 - 8)x10^{10}M_solar depending on the assumed value of the molecular gas mass to CO luminosity ratio alpha_CO. The estimated infrared luminosity from the (rest-frame) far-infrared spectral energy distribution (SED) is L_IR = 2.5x10^{12} L_solar and the star-formation rate is ~250 M_solar/yr, with the SED shape indicating substantial dust obscuration of the stellar light. The infrared to CO line luminosity ratio is ~114+/-19 L_solar/(K km/s pc^2), similar to galaxies with similar SFRs selected at UV/optical to radio wavelengths. This discovery confirms the potential for molecular emission line surveys as a route to study populations of gas-rich galaxies in the future

    Experimental study of pedestrian flow through a bottleneck

    In this work the results of a bottleneck experiment with pedestrians are presented in the form of total times, fluxes, specific fluxes, and time gaps. A main aim was to find the dependence of these values from the bottleneck width. The results show a linear decline of the specific flux with increasing width as long as only one person at a time can pass, and a constant value for larger bottleneck widths. Differences between small (one person at a time) and wide bottlenecks (two persons at a time) were also found in the distribution of time gaps.Comment: accepted for publication in J. Stat. Mec

    Zeta function method and repulsive Casimir forces for an unusual pair of plates at finite temperature

    We apply the generalized zeta function method to compute the Casimir energy and pressure between an unusual pair of parallel plates at finite temperature, namely: a perfectly conducting plate and an infinitely permeable one. The high and low temperature limits of these quantities are discussed; relationships between high and low temperature limits are estabkished by means of a modified version of the temperature inversion symmetry.Comment: latex file 9 pages, 3 figure

    Macroscopic traffic models from microscopic car-following models

    We present a method to derive macroscopic fluid-dynamic models from microscopic car-following models via a coarse-graining procedure. The method is first demonstrated for the optimal velocity model. The derived macroscopic model consists of a conservation equation and a momentum equation, and the latter contains a relaxation term, an anticipation term, and a diffusion term. Properties of the resulting macroscopic model are compared with those of the optimal velocity model through numerical simulations, and reasonable agreement is found although there are deviations in the quantitative level.     Intelligent Controlling Simulation of Traffic Flow in a Small City Network

    We propose a two dimensional probabilistic cellular automata for the description of traffic flow in a small city network composed of two intersections. The traffic in the network is controlled by a set of traffic lights which can be operated both in fixed-time and a traffic responsive manner. Vehicular dynamics is simulated and the total delay experienced by the traffic is evaluated within specified time intervals. We investigate both decentralized and centralized traffic responsive schemes and in particular discuss the implementation of the {\it green-wave} strategy. Our investigations prove that the network delay strongly depends on the signalisation strategy. We show that in some traffic conditions, the application of the green-wave scheme may destructively lead to the increment of the global delay.Comment: 8 pages, 10 eps figures, Revte

    Higher order WKB corrections to black hole entropy in brick wall formalism

    We calculate the statistical entropy of a quantum field with an arbitrary spin propagating on the spherical symmetric black hole background by using the brick wall formalism at higher orders in the WKB approximation. For general spins, we find that the correction to the standard Bekenstein-Hawking entropy depends logarithmically on the area of the horizon. Furthermore, we apply this analysis to the Schwarzschild and Schwarzschild-AdS black holes and discuss our results.Comment: 21 pages, published versio
